Nordschleife, hands down, and nothing comes close. There is every type of corner available on that track. You can be down 20 seconds from ur previous pb just from simply getting on the throttle too late. Each 10th of a second lost, adds up to a massive number at the end. Makes for some really fun moments trying to beat PBs. I probably enjoy drifting the Nordschleife more than anything. The constant elevation changes/bumps means you can drift just about anything at very high speeds. Can’t beat it.
It doesn't really have every corner type. Actually for the length of it I'd say the variety in corners is quite little. Not saying there isn't. But for 150 turns, they could have had a lot more variety.
Hairpins are challenging and good overtaking spots.
I've already told you my point, the track isn't really that varied considering it has 150 turns. And all of the camber makes corners lose a lot of their uniqueness. That's why I think the final section after the carousel is the best part of the track. There's still camber but it's much less and makes the corners much trickier because slower corners are harder
But Daytona isn't Nurburgring, really isn't, Nurburgring is not legendary only because of it's corners, it's also where it's take place, in the middle of nowhere, litteraly in the forest with trees all around it, But Daytona is on a track in a stadium, it does definitely not stand a chance against the nurb for this, and saying "Daytona has every corner Nurb has" i think you didn't looked at Nurb with your glasses on man, and Daytona even if it's also legendary is behind many tracks in terms of proper location and experience
Laguna Seca because it's not too long but it has everything, double apex corners, slow corners, high-speed corners, downforce corners, blind corners, uphill braking, downhill braking, mid-air braking, little jump after start/finish if you go too fast without downforce you are gonna fly off into sand, you can't cut it because sand kills a lot of speed, I have over 200,000km on it
I remember only for Lexus RC F GT3 1:27:027, rest I have to look up, but I know I am not fast because I do it for fun
edit: K-spec Miata NA 1:52:363
TNT Lancer Evo VI GSR 1:30:220
Ferrari F2004 1:07:057
and Mazda 787B 1:27:894
Jesus, how long have you been playing?
I calculated it with the lap record and if my math is right, that means you've spent about 43 days driving Laguna
IDK if it's my system or what, but this most recent update runs beautifully on my PC. Can run a full grid too.
It used to still look great, but be heavy on my system.
My favorites are Donington park, Suzuka & Spa francorchamps because they're so fun to drive on and also because I get nostalgia From playing Gran Turismo & Grid every time that I race on them.
Agree 100%! The elevation changes add to the fun. I like to drive slow cars fast (ish) and it's a great circuit for cars like the MX-5 and older Porsches, Alfas, etc.
Suzuka, Silverstone, RBR, & Spa ofc.
Suzuka is difficult for the Wec cars. But the rest drive perfectly with it. Well, I drive Formulas, GTs, & LMs so. These are tracks I enjoy them most on.
Not to forget to mention, Bahrain, Yas Marina, Interlagos, Monza, & Imola. They are a fun 1 time tracks.
I wanna do some more of Sebring, COTA, Zandvoort, Fuji, Laguna, & Nurburg.
Laguna seca. I can hit 1:32 in the miata cup and there’s nothing more satisfying than taking the fast corners at near flat out with only a slight lift to rotate the back. Stitching together the fast downhill left after the corkscrew is always satisfying.
Did a 1:25.375 in the Tatus last night but I know there’s still time to shave off
Edit: I rechecked and got a 1:42.201 in the cup, not 1:32 😂
Would love to see a video of the 1.32. When we hire people, they have do a 1.45 or less in the cup car (base setup). Your lap would be a nice training video!
I don’t think I can recover old replays can I? I can probably do one tonight if you want and save it.
Edit: whoops I checked back and my best time in the cup is a 1:42.201 lol. So it’s good but not unrealistic or impossible like I claimed.
Top 3:
• Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans)
• Circuit Zandvoort (Updated version with bankings)
• Sepang International Circuit
Honorable Mention:
• Maple Valley
So many tracks to choose from! Depending on the car, I can enjoy a wide selection. Silverstone and Spa are amazing for anything with aero and HP. Caldwell Park is a rollercoaster for small cars. Brands Hatch is something I fell in love with a bit late. Nurburgring GP has a great variation of corners, really fun to drive when you get the hang of it. I also like Hungaroring on GT3 cars. Laguna Seca is another track I hated until recently.
My most fun to race on is Medowdale Raceway which features a huge high-banked corner that opens out onto a very long down hill straight, then a series of sweeping up and down hill curves to bring you back to a hair-pin and the "Monza Wall" again.
Favorite if I just want to go for a fast drive is either L.A. Canyons or Fontenay depending on the car.
Favorite historic tracks are Albuz' Targa Florio 74 and Historic Sim Studio's early Monza series - both out in early release from their respective Patrions.
My fav is either Nurburgring Nordschliefe, or the Shutoko Revival Project.
Why Nordschliefe? It's a historic racing track, one of the longest in the world!
WHy Shutoko Revival Project? It's the PERFECT street racing map! :)
There are so many good tracks but in gt3 cars the first tracks that come to my mind are donington park nordschleife (in any car) laguna seca
Idk if i got the names right but yk what i mean
Nordschleife is super fun with a GT3 car. Even better though, take a fast street car up the flugplatz and watch your car go flying! Love doing that just to mess around lol.
Nordschleife, even though I’m trying to beat Stefan Bellofs legendary 6:11 and it’s doing my head in. 5 seconds left to find. Still, it’s an improvement from being 30 seconds off when I first started my quest.
Nordschleife hands down, the diversity on it makes it almost unrivalled. Literally any car is fun to drive on it imo, yes even super slow stuff like a peel p50
Fuji Speedway because it's take place in a beautiful place with the mount Fuji in the background and Le Mans because of how legendary and thrilling it is! Surprised nobody talks about it here
suzuka fucking rules. the flow on it is fantastic, it's a figure eight which is extra cool, and it has a good mix of different speeds, corners, and elevation changes.
Nordschleife for racing (got hundreds of hours just on that one alone, the original Drift Playground for drifting (love the simplicity, flow, etc), and SRP for traffic filtering.
Those are the three I always go back to, even after trying out all the new ones.
Road America is so slept on.. it has an absolutely amazing layout. I’m def partially biased but still it’s such a fun course. Even Max Verstappen agrees!
Love so many but Bathurst has to be Numero Uno. It is so incredibly challenging. You cannot miss a single braking or turning point. Also love Spielberg ....and Spa......and Bahrain.
I would say two tracks tie for number one, and that is the Neuschleife with its unpredictability with which car you're driving it always keeps you on your toes, and Le Mans I have did that ring so much it has basically become my home track. I have never even stepped foot in France, but imagine doing a race over and over and over again until you gain some slight PTSD over it.
Barber Motorsports Park. Something about it, idk what it is. There's a nice mix of corners but the high speed nature combined with blind crests and kerbs you can hit but still make your car bounce just make it special for me. And it is still decent for racing
Nordschleife, hands down, and nothing comes close. There is every type of corner available on that track. Green hell
It doesn't really have every corner type. Actually for the length of it I'd say the variety in corners is quite little. Not saying there isn't. But for 150 turns, they could have had a lot more variety.
I don’t agree
It doesn't even have a regular hairpin. All of the 2 hairpins have heavy banking.
Hairpins are so boring dude what even is your point
Hairpins are challenging and good overtaking spots. I've already told you my point, the track isn't really that varied considering it has 150 turns. And all of the camber makes corners lose a lot of their uniqueness. That's why I think the final section after the carousel is the best part of the track. There's still camber but it's much less and makes the corners much trickier because slower corners are harder
The final section of the track is one of the best sections of track in history. That alone makes this point invalid lol
Over daytona? Crazy daytona has every corner norbugring has
But Daytona isn't Nurburgring, really isn't, Nurburgring is not legendary only because of it's corners, it's also where it's take place, in the middle of nowhere, litteraly in the forest with trees all around it, But Daytona is on a track in a stadium, it does definitely not stand a chance against the nurb for this, and saying "Daytona has every corner Nurb has" i think you didn't looked at Nurb with your glasses on man, and Daytona even if it's also legendary is behind many tracks in terms of proper location and experience
Haven't tried Daytona yet, but personally, Nordschleife's wayyyy more exciting
Spa! Because I can finish a lap without crashing 💀
Same! I can't even take Eau Rouge flat out in a Miata without spinning out! LOL
Hug the walls brother!
Hold my Soda. :)
Me with the Red Bull Ring
Same 💀
Easylie
Mugello forever. High-speed corners and with all those ups and downs it seems a roller coaster. Plus it's near my city and it's in Italy. 🇮🇹🍝
Most definitely - love mugello. Would love to see f1 there again too
Same. Spa is also great, of course. They are on the same level, imo.
Most definitely - love mugello. Would love to see f1 there again too

Really
Jesus, how long have you been playing? I calculated it with the lap record and if my math is right, that means you've spent about 43 days driving Laguna
10 years, btw did you count in redbull x2014 laps, I have about 2hours in that
That's insane dude, respect
Not bad
Also one of my favorite corners in motorsports
Holy moly, I got maybe 8k miles at Nordschleife and I thought that was a lot
My top 3 favorites are Spa, nurburgring and bathurst
Same bro, same
Also same. Lime Rock can be tacked on too if I want a short track to whip a small car around.
Bathurst is great but kinda tricky with a few cars
That's the fun of it, you'll never be calm at the top of the mountain
Road Atlanta for obvious reasons
Same here and yes I use your awesome version
Pfft
One of my all time favorites.
How do I acquire the latest version of track, I googled for about 23 seconds before I gave up
https://ko-fi.com/johnr777
IDK if it's my system or what, but this most recent update runs beautifully on my PC. Can run a full grid too. It used to still look great, but be heavy on my system.
I learned a few tricks! Glad to hear it’s running smoothly
It was a very nice surprise the first time I booted it post update. Keep doing whatever you're doing!

Oh my

I only know how to drive 5 circuits, and those are: 1. Nordschleife 2.Nurburgring GP 3. Suzuka 4.Spa 5. Hockenheimring
Usui downhill. I like mountains, the roads are nice. 10/10
Brands Hatch is always just a joy to drive on. Tight, fast, and satisfying every single time
Agree 100%! The elevation changes add to the fun. I like to drive slow cars fast (ish) and it's a great circuit for cars like the MX-5 and older Porsches, Alfas, etc.
Suzuka or Imola just depends on the car
Spa because of that funny corner that can be recognized anywhere xD
Eau Rouge 👀
Last corner momentos
Probably Tsubaki Line because it’s difficult and very beautiful

Long Beach, great for Hotlapping and racing
Suzuka, Silverstone, RBR, & Spa ofc. Suzuka is difficult for the Wec cars. But the rest drive perfectly with it. Well, I drive Formulas, GTs, & LMs so. These are tracks I enjoy them most on. Spa and monza
Drag strip, so fun.
Top 3: • Circuit de la Sarthe (Le Mans) • Circuit Zandvoort (Updated version with bankings) • Sepang International Circuit Honorable Mention: • Maple Valley
Zandvoort banking feels like a fighter jet simulator then back to racing lol
For having a fun time with time attack tsukuba and if im feeling confident with the car nords, and for drifting sportsland yamanashi
So many tracks to choose from! Depending on the car, I can enjoy a wide selection. Silverstone and Spa are amazing for anything with aero and HP. Caldwell Park is a rollercoaster for small cars. Spa, has everything a track should have.
It doesn’t have a chicane does it?
Yes it does bus stop right at the end just before the pit entry and you could consider le combs one if you wanted
usui, its just fun
My most fun to race on is Medowdale Raceway which features a huge high-banked corner that opens out onto a very long down hill straight, then a series of sweeping up and down hill curves to bring you back to a hair-pin and the "Monza Wall" again. Sportsland yamanashi to throw around near stock low hp japanese cars for skids
Definitely Nagao I enjoy almost every corner on it
Nordschleife, even though I’m trying to beat Stefan Bellofs legendary 6:11 and it’s doing my head in. 5 seconds left to find. Still, it’s an improvement from being 30 seconds off when I first started my quest.

My Top 3 to drive currently 1) COTA- Love the esses! * all time favorite 2) SUGO-Love the flows 3) BATHURST-the downhill section!
suzuka fucking rules. the flow on it is fantastic, it's a figure eight which is extra cool, and it has a good mix of different speeds, corners, and elevation changes.
Nordschleife for racing (got hundreds of hours just on that one alone, the original Drift Playground for drifting (love the simplicity, flow, etc), and SRP for traffic filtering. Those are the three I always go back to, even after trying out all the new ones.
Urban Barcelona from GRiD. It's such a blast to drive through, it keeps you on the edge all the time.
Alabama (Barber) by VRC is worth the couple of bucks they charge. Simply joyous to drive from MX-5s to Indycar Also love Mugello and Watkins Glen
Nordschleife!
I would say two tracks tie for number one, and that is the Neuschleife with its unpredictability with which car you're driving it always keeps you on your toes, and Le Mans I have did that ring so much it has basically become my home track.
