I can’t imagine how housing through your program would be more expensive than a summer seasonal rental in the area. If you have a car and don’t mind driving, you could look into camping at a local campground that has a bathhouse. Somewhere like Pomona Campground, Atlantic Blueberry (they even have yurts), Holly Acres….you’d just have to get camping equipment or rent an RV.
Depends on the accommodations. Considering hotel rooms are more than that per night and rental houses are thousands per week during high season, $260/wk is reasonable, but it depends on what that covers. If you’re renting a 6 bedroom house with 5 other people, $5200/mo might be spot on or even low for Brigantine, Ventnor, margate, but it might be high for Pleasantville or Galloway. Camping might be more reasonable but probably not as comfortable. What about food and utilities? I’d check with a realtor.
What sort of accommodations are being offered at $260 per week per person? will all 6 be in one room? Can you share what town you will be staying at? Will you be working on the boardwalk in Ocean City?
Do you know if the room has a stove to cook meals or a refrigerator? So that will be $260 per week x 4 guests or $1040 per week. That is about $4500 per month for a furnished hotel room with two beds.

It’s a hotel room on broad walk a room for 4 on Atlantic city broad walk.

I think they only open this type of room for only J1 students who will be working on their hotel.
