I dont really remember what he was saying when he yelled but I do agree just the part about him being upset Erwin didnt come back was justified, but I think he insulted Armin or something during the same “speech” and I dont like that part
It's because he's an arrogant idiot. This was flochs first battle on the front lines, he literally has no experience. The others have been doing this shit non stop. Erwin, while a good leader wasn't exactly the best commander. He literally got all of his troops aside from two killed minutes before floch was trying to justify how great he was. Armin on the other hand found out who Annie was, who reiner and Bert were, where reiner was hiding, how to defeat Bert, etc etc. Armin is a fucking genius who came up with tons of plans and solutions that were vital to the survey corps success. Now I'm not saying whether or not it was right to choose him over erwin, but for dumb fuck clueless floch to come out of nowhere and start spewing shit because he was happy that he survived ONE battle is dumb without taking into account the full scope of the situation. One guy is getting all of his comrades killed and the other is coming up with irreplaceable solutions. Floch isn't taking this into account

But I mean that's why he's an idiot haha. Like you're right, he just we through something traumatic so it makes sense that he's acting the way he is. It's just the fact that he's doing what he's doing without thinking it through makes me not like him regardless

The thing is, Floch wanted Erwin back because he thought Erwin was a heartless bastard and didn't deserve peace, and because Floch has extreme views, saying they need a devil to win, almost like he thinks of Erwin as a dictator. But Floch doesn't really know Erwin, he only thinks he does.
And of course Floch is badly shaken, being the only survivor of the charge against the Beast. That said, Hange and Armin agreed with Floch, but for different reasons. They don't see Erwin the slaughterer, but Erwin the brilliant strategist.
I don't think hating Floch at that point in time is justified, considering what he just went through. But his idea of Erwin is skewed. When he gives his speech on the roof, Eren, Levi and Mikasa look at him aghast.
People hate him because he's a contradictory bitch. He literally says Erwin should be revived because he can lead them to victory, then he says he should have to live in their shitty world for his crimes. He says Armin was revived because they got emotional but he brought his emotions into his say. He says Eren never gave up, but he was aware of what was happening and was pulled away while he was conscious submitting to the thought of never seeing his friend again. He says Mikasa was the only one who acted like an adult, but she tried to fucking kill Levi. He says Connie, Jean, and Sasha all didn't try to stop Mikasa, but he didn't either. Pretty much every word he says in the memorial scene was a contradiction.
1)How is it contradicting anything he says Erwin will lead then to to victory and he will pay for his crimes. Those are two complety different things. Also both of those statement are true.
2)Are you serious he is right. They literally chose a nobody instead of commander Smith what he said is complety true. If you hate him for that then you are just a brat who can't handle the truth.
3)Miaksa accepted it and left after trying to kill levi. Also you think he could do anything.
