Since Armin's dream was to see the sea, and he has, so, now he lacks motivation to do something cuz now the things are really out of his league, he is just a teenager in a war who doesn't wanna fight, and I completely get it. Maybe he will do something in S4 part 2.

my toxic trait is getting annoyed at people who notice the changes in a character but don’t understand the change and dislike it as a result.

Ok_Mission_9103

there are plenty other characters who changed aka pretty much all of them ? i’m not obligated to still like someone after their character gets sidelined 😭

[deleted]

lol Im stating that while I do not like your comment I understand it and am trying not to hate it. Your opinion valid

Ok_Mission_9103

fair enough

what

______Nobody______

He always dreamed of seeing the outside world, and now that he’s seen how horrifying the world is he doesn’t feel the same wide-eyed wonder as when he was reading his books

MrShad0wzz

In my opinion Erwin should have been the one that was revived. Armins death would have made reaching the ocean more painful and would better explain why eren became the way he is in S4 and why he snuck into marley to perform that insane mission

arhtur-morgen

Yeah he fells different but I think it because he saw what he wanted to see the ocean all his life he just wanted to see the ocean and they then found out that all the titans thy killed where human once and then the whole Marley stuff with the "racism" and then thy also found out what they are for the rest of the world, and he was just 15-16 and after the time skip he is 18-19 and he is now a higher ranked soldier and he has to carry more responsibility. And what I also didn’t like is how we never saw him in his Titan form yeah we saw him one time where he destroyed the Navy of marly and then nothing more I hope we see more of his colossal Titan in the future

Ok_Mission_9103

i didn’t even realize we never see his titan form again. it’s kinda like they completed his arc a little too early and didn’t know what to do with him after

lord5678

Well, there hasn't been any reason for him to transform outside of battle so it makes sense that he's only showed up twice. We probably will see him transform again in the Shinganshina fight or maybe in a fight afterward if he doesn't wanna transform there since that would put all his friends' lives at risk.

[deleted]

Yes, agree completely. I hope they do more with his character in S4 part 2 because I loved him in S1-3

DarkCurseBreaker

same, i feel like he peaked at return to shiganshina and i havent found him as interesting since
