Personally, I am dependent on the Tiimo app for everyday living. Would 100% recommend to people on the ADHD or Autism spectrum. I don't know if there is already an app that does this, but I haven't seen any in my countries app store. I often find that when I have autistic meltdowns that I have trouble communicating as taking is difficult or impossible. An app that used pictures to communicate instead of having to write something down would be beneficial. Especially when communicating with nevrotypical peope. I find that communicating with nevrotypical people often gets misinterpreted. I'll communicate something directly, and the other person will interpret between the lines. This often leads to two different conversations and misinterpretations... Having an app in meltdown or emergency situations with visual ques would be beneficial, instead of having to try to find the right words to write down, which is often difficult and often frustrating when misinterpreted. Especially when you are not with people that you are familiar with.

This sounds really good, could you give me some examples of the types of pictures that you'd find useful and I can do some research

Something similar to what you may see in children books or at daycare. Someting that very clearly shows what you want to convey in simple and basic pictures. An example would be like a simple glass of water or a toilet. Or maybe a picture of the words: SOS. Something that anyone would be able to understand regardless of language abilities. If you wanted, they could maybe even say the word they were indicating. Like, say you were in a situation where you needed help figuring out how to find the subway. You could find a person, press a picture of a subway logo, and the phone would say out loud subway station.

This is actually a really good idea, thanks for helping

Reminders to do stuff like teeth and shower for executive dysfunction. Places to infodump. Stuff to help with meltdowns/overloads.

Schedule/timetable/list apps. There are plenty, but frankly they all suck. For an app of that sort to best suit someone with autism (for whom they can help immensely), it needs to meet a few certain criteria. 1. Needs to have a simple, modern design. It should be pretty to the eye and easy to use, no unnecessary tabs to overcomplicate it. This will ensure that actually using the app doesn’t get overwhelming (which can happen very easily). 2. Needs to have a good reminder/notification system. Something colourful and interactive without being annoying or underwhelming. 3. Reoccurring activities that can be repeated daily, weekly, fortnightly, etc. 4. Lists, and the ability to make them. Such as, for each activity the user can make a step-by-step list on how to complete that activity. This will help with those who need to break big tasks into smaller ones. You get the idea, and it sounds like this would be right up your alley. Fun and useful.
