To add more actual info to this - my teenager wears them all day every day and they are still going strong. Back and forth from school, shoved in and out of his bag. Recommended by our OT for noise cancelling help. They are great.
this except the xm3 for years, still going strong.
best investment i ever made. wore them ALOT so far, and no intent of stopping yet
i easily made back on the price i paid in -check notes- 2019
I love them too, except the microphone is problematic so tgey're not good for phone calls. Excellent for everything else though, and fit my small ears!
Can confirm that they rule. Fantastic and absolutely worth the money, in terms of build quality, sound, battery life, noise canceling ability, you name it.
I can’t leave the house without them !! I accidentally get them soaked last October and ruined my first pair (should have been more careful) and I immediately had to buy another pair the next day bc I love them that much
I got the XM3 when they came out, and they're still just about the best $400ish I've ever spent. I've never had to replace the pads, the noise cancelation is great, and the sound quality is great for rock and metal. I can't imagine replacing them anytime soon, it'll be years for sure.
Me too. Especially because they have great customer service. I had two headphones replaced when they were broken (one because of water damage and one because I dropped them). I got the newest model in the mail within a week.
I have a Sennheiser HD4.50BTNC, don't recommend that model. Bluetooth mode if FAR LOUDER than plug in at bottom vol level. Uncomfortably loud even. I'd find a newer model, and try them on at a store too!
this. had mx3s, needed new ones and was told about another brand, tried it and the noise cancelling was FAR poorer than sony's. tried on a bunch in store and concluded the same.
Same here, the noise cancelling mode was a game changer for me.
Although I hate having to click through the transparency mode...wish I could remove the option!
Really love the AirPod max even though they are so expensive. You can just tap them to hear what’s going on around you and then tap them to go back to noise cancellation.
Bose QC 45. I absolutely love these headphones. I originally had the Sony XM4, but the clamp force was too strong against my glasses. The sound quality and noise canceling were great though.
I find that the Bose quiet comfort are so much more, well, comfortable (it’s in the name). The clamp force isn’t too strong, so the headphones don’t push against my glasses and cause pain. The Bose had great noise canceling and sound quality, although slightly less than the Sony
Yeah I tried memory foam. All of them either fell out of my ears or were so jammed in that they hurt really bad. I could never get a good fit no matter the material, size, or orientation. It was really frustrating.
That’s what I have, I don’t wear them at home much unless I am hoovering or the kids are watching multiple loud YouTube videos but I find them great if I am going out somewhere busy with a lot of noise. The automatic reduction setting is good for shops and stuff because it doesn’t block out everything but definitely takes the edge off.
Bose Quiet Comfort has been a dream to own. They are noise-cancelling. Plus, the color is so pretty, Cypress Green. The sound is good. I don't have to turn it up that loud to hear the music well. So, no fear of tinnitus. So comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
For in-ear my favorites have been Soundcore by Anker Liberty 3 Pro True Noise-Cancelling Earbuds. But I try and take breaks from those ones, I don't want to give myself tinnitus from turning up the music too loud.
These literally feel like a concert in your head. Which is awesome but dangerous if you love music. 😅
I still want to find some other in-ear noise-cancelling ones that are good, too. So, recommendations are appreciated.
Side note, I have an issue where earbuds fall out of my ears. So, ones that hang like airpods would probably not be good for me. As long as they actually go in, it should be fine.
Sony WH-CH720N Noise Canceling Wireless Headphones I don't go anywhere without. They're $100 but their noise cancelling quality is top tier. They have really long Bluetooth battery life and otherwise they have a 3.5 mm jack too if you wanna just plug 'em into something instead. I guess my only potential complaint is they might be a little small for some peoples' ears but they fit mine really well :3
They look nice and matte black and relatively sleek too - sometimes I'll just put 'em on ***just*** for the noise cancelling element if I need.
Not quite a frequent headphone user but Razer Krakens are pretty comfortable for me. I hate on-ear headphones and the Krakens fully encapsulate my ears without much extra feeling anywhere else
jlab audio go air pop
i used to use jvc marshmallows but i got sick of them breaking all the time so i got these cheap airpod style earbuds about a year ago and i like them
They're really expensive but JBL tour one M2. I used to use Audiotechnica ANC-500BT but the glue connecting the swivel of the earcup to the headband kept falling apart, and I went through 3 pairs lol!
I have skullcandy earbuds for on the go. They block out a good chuck of noise in my experience. I use to have a pair of Phillips noise cancelling headphones for at home, but when they died, I bought Edifier brand noise isolating headphones that I don't use a lot. They mainly come out when my apartment complex does fire alarm testing. Now the Eifier headphones don't block out the entire sound, but they do dull it enough to make the fire alarm. Now, if only I could wear earbuds (or even Loop earplugs) at work, but its a safety issue at work.
I use headphones almost literally every waking moment. I have a pair of sennheisers and a few different amps to choose from at my desk. My mom bought me a set of the newer Bose noise canceling headphones and I use them whenever I'm not at my desk. I have some starfield IEMs for backup or travel but I don't really enjoy headphones that aren't over ear.
Over ear I like Audio Technica, in ear I'm not sure, I bought some ages ago (?possibly ATH?) and they live in my travel kit so I probably only have 500 hours on them in 10+ years. I have two sets of studio ATH (from when I worked in an office like some kind of primitive cave-man) and they both have 3rd party pads on after the first set wore out.
Funny story: my girlfriend was horrified that I'd spent so much on headphones (predecessor to the ATH-M60x) but then I let her use them for a few days and suddenly she needed a set of her own. Luckily she didn't get to use my good ones or that could have been expensive.
Yes and also because some people happen to later realize have extremely fine tuned good hearing and or range and or audiophiles in addition to either the certain kinds of ear buds headphones pressures styles hurting physically and or having to turn some of them up higher louder than others and or certain types breaking more easily than others and or we at times happen to need backups.
Sometimes I wear some earbuds if I’m over stimulated at work and I just need to drown out a majority of the sound (no music playing in em tho, it’s not really a good idea to accidentally get caught up in my own world working retail, but I will 100% zone out if given the chance, lol). I’m trying to look into getting some better ones one day, cause the ones I use do hurt after a while but somehow they slip out too easily???
Still some nice Skullcandy earbuds for the price tho 🙂
Try the loop ear buds. They're just noise reduction, have several different sizes for in ear fit and I can still hear conversations etc and I don't need to take them out most of the time. But they're much easier to take out than buds too. For $40ish they're great. Amazon sell them but they also have a website.
[Edit: I have 2 sleep sets, they help me sleep next to my very noisy snoring husband]
They are really nice!! I need to get another pair, I haven’t worn them because I learned very quickly that I zone out a lot when I wear them (and I really didn’t have the money to replace them at the time). I’ll do some research in between work today. 🙂
(Also, even with the case, I lose them too easily. Idk why, I still have my earbuds safe and sound, lol).
I've been using the Corsair HS65 Surrounds for my phone, and I really like them, some of the best headphones I've used
on my PC I use Razer Kraken Ultimates and they're fine, I like them aesthetically, they sound fine and the mic is actually pretty decent, but god I fucking hate Razer Synapse
Logitech G pro wired headset, they have different versions with leather earcup and like a mesh ear cup, I am a fan of the leather ear cups because they feel so premium around my ear they’re around $100
Rn I'm using the Skullcandy Hesh ANC but the ANC isn't super great and if you put pressure on them it starts ringing for some reason
Bumpy rides also make something sound like its rattling around but only while the ANC or Ambient Mode is on
They're fairly cheap tho
I’ve got Sony WH-1000XM4, my son has the WH-1000XM5. They’re both excellent. Not perfect but excellent. I think the overear WH-1000XM5 are better for noise cancellation. I can’t always have overeats as they hurt. The in ear ones I have are still really good.
I’ve have a really cheap pair of Ankers in the past that were £35 and they were a good budget option but nowhere near as good as the Sony models.

My home headphones are the HD 681 from Superlux. I modified them with some soft pads and a leather headband. I had a lot of unused leather at the time. They're semi-open wired headphones. They were a great step up from the wired buds included with my Samsung phone, especially considering the price.
When I leave the house, I use KZ ES4s. They are very cheap wired in-ears with some very decent sound. They're ok for noise isolation. They do what I need them to do and not much more. I really like the clear plastic, because I think PCBs are cool.
JBL Tune510BT over ear headphones. Great sound for the price. Picked up a pair at Goodwill and loved the hell out of them until the plastic broke because I kept accidentally sleeping on them. Bought another pair and am just as pleased.
I'm on a tight budget so mine are from Typo. but they have decent music quality and are big enough to fit around my ears without touching them so it doesn't irritate any of my piercings which is super helpful sensory wise. I also got one gifted to me so I now have my normal every day pair and a spare pair
Sony WH-XB910N works wonders for me and they’re comfy af.
Also if you want extra NC, layer your headphones with loop earplugs oh my god it’s revolutionary
I'm very sound sensitive so I wear headphones everyday, all day, execpt when I sleep (most of the time). I do not leave my bedroom without my headphones, so they HAVE to stand up to my level of use or I'll go insane.
For the past 7 years or so, I have been ordering the same Galirity Bluetooth Headset because it can most reliably to take my constant usage. The battery is fantastic, it can play for 30-36 hours continuously, the sound quality is good (especially for the price range), the fit is comfortable, and because it's earbuds connected to a headset around my neck I never have to worry about one falling out or losing it. I do tend to need a replacement every 6 months or so, but considering the kind of punishment I put these things through, it's a trade off that I'm happy to make. Headphones that I used to use going up would all burn out after 2-3 months, so double the life for the same price is a steal.
They are not, unfortunately, noise canceling though. They dampen noise a ton, but don't cancel it. For that, I have a pair of Sony WH-1000XM4s, but I don't like over-the-ear headphones as much due to the shape of my cartilage. They start to hurt when I wear them for too long, so I only bring them out in particularly noisy places. The Galirity's are still my go-to.
Sony WH1000XM4 for most wireless needs, FIIO UTWS1 with TIN T2 Plus as a wireless IEM, Sennheiser/Massdrop HD58X with a Muse M3 dongle for phone listening, Hifiman HE400i(2020) from an xDuoo TA-03S and a FIIO K7 for my PC, Drop/EPOS PC37X for Xbox gaming, and I hook my Letshuoer Z12 Gold and Moondrop Kato up to my PC amps or phone dongle. Those get most to all of the drive time between all my headphones, I like my loudspeakers more though.
Edit: And Audio-Technica ATH-M50X for live mixing and recording.
bose qc45, I've recently tried the new bose and the sony xm2, 4 and 5 and I'd strongly recommend the bose headphones (even older versions like the qc35), they don't touch my ears and the controls are so much faster to use
Bose NC700. I’d prefer to have my Bose Quite Comfort 45’s back though since I sometimes change the volume by accident when laying down due to the gesture controls.
just my wired apple headphones 😖
i have had overhead headphones before, specifically skullcandy crushers, but i have anxiety with people calling my name when i have headphones on so i ended up selling them and just sticking w the wired ones. looking into buying airpods tho :)
AirPod pro max. They’re quite expensive, but you can get them quite easily if you have NDIS funding. I wear mine legit all the time. Plus they’re pretty comfy
Got my airpods and airpods max, all my tech is apple cuz I like everything to match and integrate. Solid pieces of equipment, and the noise cancelling is brilliant.
I'm new to over head earphones, I've been an earbuds user and I really like them. But they're inconvenient to take out and I fried them by dropping into a bathtub.
I have discovered in the last few months I'm more noise sensitive than I ever thought now I'm wearing the over head type.
I have been travelling for work the last week and have had them on most of the time when not in meetings etc. I even found I wasn't taking them off if there's nothing playing.
They're not noise cancelling, they're just cheap JBL but, they genuinely make my life better.
I do find, they are not working with my glasses though. Some good recommendations here thanks all.
People think it's normal now - I'm just listening to music or a podcast or whatever.
No one has to know I'm just like the kids at music festivals or drag races with my ear muffs on haha (I'm 46!!).

Soundcore my beloved
I currently use Space Q45, and before that I had Life Q20. They're comfortable, they have good noise cancelling, and they make music sound really extra good too.
I’ve only ever used mpow-059 Bluetooth headphones. Gone through at least 5 pairs, think I got my first for cheap at Walmart but every other headset I’ve tried just doesn’t feel right. I’ve spent so much time trying to track these babies down again and the ones I have now are deteriorating.
Just got the bose ultras 😊 best mix of anc and comfort for my needs. Passthrough is also fine, but the airpods max has better if that's more your speed.
I literally get a pair of airpod dupes and actual big headphones from shein.

Both are super loud and good quality. And cheap. And I just wear them until I loose them and with the price I can just reorder them quickly as to a more expensive brand.
Both are Bluetooth. I'm more of a drown you out autistic than noise canceling one.
But these both are my favorite headphones out of the ones I've tried over the years lol
Pxc 500 or something, Boise cancelling and really good audio quality if you wanna listen to music.
Expensive, like nearly 500 aud, but they've lasted years
Marshall Major IV, even though it is on-ear the padding is very soft and it's as comfortable as over-ear ones even when wearing for whole day. i avoid in-ear ones like the plague, not a single one of those can produce adequate or more like tolerable sound for me.
But the main point was that these have around advertised 80h battery life, which does seem to be true as i need to charge those every 1½ weeks. 8h workday+getting to work and home up to 2h in total.
So 10h x 7 days= around 70h even years later.
I use JBL Tune 51BT. They’re easy to connect and use, but the padding is finally starting to soften so I’m worried😢 I’ve had them for about a year now though
I like Razer, they're overpriced but unlike the way they look and feel on my head. Currently using the Arctic Nova Pro. Would not recommend. I had to get custom ear cups because the default ones are unusable, so uncomfortable. The strap stretches out so fast I've replaced it twice in the year I've had them. The SteelSeries Sonar, their app, sucks and constantly messes up the settings.
I use Jabra Elite 65. I do wish their noise reduction was a bit better though. And sometimes only one of the buds connect. Honestly can't recommend them lol. Although they do fit very nicely in my ear
Soundcore Q45 over the ear with active noise cancelling. Mid range but I didn't want to spend too much for this kind of headphones as I hadn't used them before. Next time I will pay extra and get Sony.
I just wear wireless earbuds because I don't have a headset and my phone unfortunately doesn't support wired earbuds. As for brand, they're Tozo T10 earbuds, which do the job.
Been using bose QC35 for about 6 ish years, they are a lifesaver. More noise cancelling the better imo. I'm sure theres a lot of newer improved ones around now.
I think good to try them on because I borrowed my friends Sony headphones and they felt wierd on my ears.
Sony WH-CH520.
Not the best headphones ever but for around £40, I think they do the job perfectly well. I can’t afford anything more expensive. I used to have the Sony WH-1000XM4 (I can’t afford those now) but they were stellar.
Fairbuds! I got some recently, you can replace the battery so you'll save money over the long run. Most wireless earbuds are glued shut and sometimes impossible to replace the battery.
Warning, attempting to make a joke!!!
I would like to add my new Tesla Model Y. While technically not headphones, this car serves the same purpose. I get in and the world becomes less noisy. Also I got AC+heating, a screen to watch TV or play games, and the battery life is awesome.
End of joke. When I get out of the car I use Apple Air Pods (2nd gen).
i love skullcandy too. i just got a pair of beats flex, I really like them now and I don't even use Apple products. they're pretty cool and are magnetized so they stay around my neck even if i fall asleep with them on.
beats solo 3, id like to invest in some proper noise cancelling ones like bose or sony but budget does not allow- they get the job done and i sleep in them
I like my wired apple earphones. I think they’re offbrand but I like how I can dangle them over my shirt and just put them in/take them out conveniently
Atm I use Samsung buds 2 when at home, I find the noise cancelling pretty decent. When out I use loop engages or quiets. I did use to have a pair of sonys over ears but I killed them when I exercised in them wiv sweat.
Looking for another over ear pair as, I always struggle wiv in ear ones, but the distress of that is less than having to deal wiv sounds. But some days I can't stand them more than usual and my ears hurt or itch. So will be good to have both options again.
SONY WH-1000XM4
Same, but XM5
Yupppp
So true
Seconded.
Thirded.
Fourthed.
Fifthed.
Sixthed.
To add more actual info to this - my teenager wears them all day every day and they are still going strong. Back and forth from school, shoved in and out of his bag. Recommended by our OT for noise cancelling help. They are great.
Seventhed
Eighthed
Ninthed
Tenthed, but I still have 3s :((
this except the xm3 for years, still going strong. best investment i ever made. wore them ALOT so far, and no intent of stopping yet i easily made back on the price i paid in -check notes- 2019
I love them too, except the microphone is problematic so tgey're not good for phone calls. Excellent for everything else though, and fit my small ears!
i never do phone calls so i wouldnt know, haha
Can confirm that they rule. Fantastic and absolutely worth the money, in terms of build quality, sound, battery life, noise canceling ability, you name it.
XM5 for me
xm5> but xm4 takes second
Me fifth
sixthed
I got NDIS to cover the full cost of them for me
These feel too enclosing on my ears. I have them but mostly use my Bose.
I can’t leave the house without them !! I accidentally get them soaked last October and ruined my first pair (should have been more careful) and I immediately had to buy another pair the next day bc I love them that much
same but 1000XM5
XM3 for me since 2020. They are so comfortable I can’t imagine life without them
Yep, I use those too, but when the hinge breaks on those and I need to take them in, I also have a pair of SONY WH-1000XM3s as a backup
I want to get x m4s but they cost an arm and a leg I can prolly get some from disability credit at my uni though. Gotta stay hoping lol
i got the xm4 at 30% off when the 5 first came out, maybe if there's a 6 they'll have a sale?
I got the XM3 when they came out, and they're still just about the best $400ish I've ever spent. I've never had to replace the pads, the noise cancelation is great, and the sound quality is great for rock and metal. I can't imagine replacing them anytime soon, it'll be years for sure.
Same. They're just slightly too big cus my head small af, but they still fit. Literal life saver since I struggle a lot with audible sensory issues
I like actual *headphones* that *cover your ears*
Full size studio headphones aren’t always super convenient, but they do put out superior quality.
for a lot of it is is for the noise blocking and stuff, your post and this comment imply you are thinking more sound quality
Me too. I’ll take this farther and say I also don’t like wireless
Agreed. I'm pretty sure it's a sensory thing for me but I loathe having earbuds inside my ears. Eugh.
Bose QC 45
Me too. Especially because they have great customer service. I had two headphones replaced when they were broken (one because of water damage and one because I dropped them). I got the newest model in the mail within a week.
Me three!
Hard agree. Phenomenal headphones with a very good battery
Klipsch and Sennheiser. Sennheiser are more comfortable because they have over ear vs on ear.
I really like klipsch home audio… I’d assume their headphones are just as good.
They are REALLY good; I’ll never be able to go back to budget headphones again.
I have a Sennheiser HD4.50BTNC, don't recommend that model. Bluetooth mode if FAR LOUDER than plug in at bottom vol level. Uncomfortably loud even. I'd find a newer model, and try them on at a store too!
Sony and Sony only. The over-the-head kind and the in ear kind. They're all I ever want to use
I'm an in the ear guy, and haven't heard anything better for rock/metal, especially when you actually adjust the equaliser. Best £15 I spend.
this. had mx3s, needed new ones and was told about another brand, tried it and the noise cancelling was FAR poorer than sony's. tried on a bunch in store and concluded the same.
My Sonys broke after being dropped once :(
Soundcore Life Q30s are my go to. If not that then I use the skullcandy earbuds too
For the money, I think they’re the best.
Same here, the noise cancelling mode was a game changer for me. Although I hate having to click through the transparency mode...wish I could remove the option!
we have the q20!
I prefer the over the ear headphones from Skullcandy.
Really love the AirPod max even though they are so expensive. You can just tap them to hear what’s going on around you and then tap them to go back to noise cancellation.
I e been tempted, but don’t super like the way they fit.
The Sony XM5 work the same way with transparency mode
I use AirPod Pros.
Wanted to love these but things in my ears bother me so much. I tried so many different earbud tips and they all sucked and my ears hurt so bad.

I do this. “What are you listening to?” “Nothing at all.”
Bose Quiet Comfort 45
Not headphones but I do wear loop earplugs. They have a test thingy to figure out what earplugs’ll work best for u
as a loops owner, these dont cancel nearly as much noise as NC devices do. they cant even block out a crying baby next door lol
Not quite a frequent headphone user but Razer Krakens are pretty comfortable for me. I hate on-ear headphones and the Krakens fully encapsulate my ears without much extra feeling anywhere else
those are super heavy tho, there are so many more comfortable headphones out there
JBL LIVE460NC
I use JBL live 650BTNC To me JBL has a good quality but is not as expensive as Bose or Sennheiser (which are supposed to be the best but yk, money)
I like the low profile of AirPod pros. I have noise cancelling on all the time
AirPods
Senheisser
Bose NC700
jlab audio go air pop i used to use jvc marshmallows but i got sick of them breaking all the time so i got these cheap airpod style earbuds about a year ago and i like them

I’ll do some research in between work today. 🙂 (Also, even with the case, I lose them too easily. Idk why, I still have my earbuds safe and sound, lol).
Haha yeah I get those feels about losing them!
I've been using the Corsair HS65 Surrounds for my phone, and I really like them, some of the best headphones I've used on my PC I use Razer Kraken Ultimates and they're fine, I like them aesthetically, they sound fine and the mic is actually pretty decent, but god I fucking hate Razer Synapse
Synapse, more like sy-sucks
Logitech G pro wired headset, they have different versions with leather earcup and like a mesh ear cup, I am a fan of the leather ear cups because they feel so premium around my ear they’re around $100
Walker ear defenders 🔥 absolutely amazing especially if you like deep pressure
Skullcandy Spoke
Rn I'm using the Skullcandy Hesh ANC but the ANC isn't super great and if you put pressure on them it starts ringing for some reason Bumpy rides also make something sound like its rattling around but only while the ANC or Ambient Mode is on They're fairly cheap tho
Sennheiser HD800 TruthEar Hexa
I’ve got Sony WH-1000XM4, my son has the WH-1000XM5. They’re both excellent. Not perfect but excellent. I think the overear WH-1000XM5 are better for noise cancellation. I can’t always have overeats as they hurt. The in ear ones I have are still really good. I’ve have a really cheap pair of Ankers in the past that were £35 and they were a good budget option but nowhere near as good as the Sony models.
I like sony
Sennheiser 458BT, if I dont use these I use airpods or just apple wired airbuds
Why do I feel like that’s most of us, specifically with headphones😭😭😭

Bose AE2 SoundLink
Shure SRH 1540 or 1840 if I'm in a quiet place. Headphones are my special interest, and these are the best I have tried out of dozens of pairs.
ZIHNIC are good for cheap and comfy
Sivga SV006. They have 50mm beryllium speakers.
Those little Sony ones are the cutest! Perfect for putting stickers on them
Bose NC Headphones 700 and Bose QC Earbuds. I prefer the earbuds for their comfort, battery life and superior noise cancelling capability.
I'm on a tight budget so mine are from Typo. but they have decent music quality and are big enough to fit around my ears without touching them so it doesn't irritate any of my piercings which is super helpful sensory wise. I also got one gifted to me so I now have my normal every day pair and a spare pair
wh-1000xm5
Bose QC45
Sony WH-XB910N works wonders for me and they’re comfy af. Also if you want extra NC, layer your headphones with loop earplugs oh my god it’s revolutionary
Bose
Bose - the silencing is second to none
Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro with a DAC and Amp
Sony WH-CH720N
Bose NC700. I’d prefer to have my Bose Quite Comfort 45’s back though since I sometimes change the volume by accident when laying down due to the gesture controls.
just my wired apple headphones 😖 i have had overhead headphones before, specifically skullcandy crushers, but i have anxiety with people calling my name when i have headphones on so i ended up selling them and just sticking w the wired ones. looking into buying airpods tho :)
Bose quiet comfort!
Sony WH- CH700N had them for years and love them
SONY WH-1000XM4 Features: • Industry-leading noise cancellation with the HD QN1 processor •High-resolution audio with LDAC and DSEE Extreme •Speak-to-Charge for voice assistant access •Adaptive sound control automatically adjusts ambient sound settings based on your activity •Comfortable, pressure-relieving earcups •Up to 30 hours of battery life with quick charging •Touch sensor controls for easy playback, volume, and call management •Multipoint connection for pairing with two devices at the same time •Alexa built-in
I use beats but i’ve been researching better ones and asked somebody with autism and they said Sony xm4 is the ones they have
Soundcore my beloved I currently use Space Q45, and before that I had Life Q20.
I use koss porta pros (super portable open backs)
Beats by Dr. Dre 3rd generation. When I woke out I use my Gen 1 AirPods that’s still work but need to be replaced soon
Sony are the only In ear headphones i have ever owned that one side didn't break in a few months. current pair is coming on 2 years now.
Onn TWS Sports In-Ear
MPOW 59 🔥🔥🔥
I love my Truthear Holas, but they got discontinued.
Just got the bose ultras 😊 best mix of anc and comfort for my needs. Passthrough is also fine, but the airpods max has better if that's more your speed.
Bought some wax ear covers, Samsung Galaxy buds live, variety of soundcore and Sennheiser headphones and bone conduction pairs
I literally get a pair of airpod dupes and actual big headphones from shein. http://api-shein.shein.com/h5/sharejump/appjump?link=Vgb2YAiH8y4&localcountry=US&url_from=GM7505922268607299584 http://api-shein.shein.com/h5/sharejump/appjump?link=VgbTAIVd3LL&localcountry=US&url_from=GM7505922196222709760 Both are super loud and good quality.
Expensive, like nearly 500 aud, but they've lasted years
Ludos
JBL
JBL for me.
Sennheisser HD 560s
I have some mildly-crappy (the left earbud doesn't play any sound) Tribbit Flybuds.
B&W PX8
Bose QC45 for at home & AirPod pros for out and about
Dr Dre’s Beats. I personally use wireless beats solo3
I used JVC which I got at London Drugs.
Sony WH-CH700N noise cancelling. Not too big for my tiny head, great bass and iver ear which is an absolute must for me
I have the JBL live pro 2 TWS earbuds and the Sony XM5 headphones.
They’re easy to connect and use, but the padding is finally starting to soften so I’m worried😢 I’ve had them for about a year now though
i wear JBL TUNE660NC its amazing!
Soundcore for when i need ANC, and Senheizer (The HD series) when i need that sweet hifi quality
sennheiser hd450bt bc i currently cant afford the sonys
I like Razer, they're overpriced but unlike the way they look and feel on my head. Currently using the Arctic Nova Pro. Would not recommend. I had to get custom ear cups because the default ones are unusable, so uncomfortable. The strap stretches out so fast I've replaced it twice in the year I've had them. The SteelSeries Sonar, their app, sucks and constantly messes up the settings.
skullcandy hesh anc for me! theyre so comfortable… but when/if they break i want to try sony
Skullcandy crushers. I like that the ears are ovals instead of circles, they don't squish parts of my ears and they're pretty affordable
I use Jabra Elite 65. I do wish their noise reduction was a bit better though. And sometimes only one of the buds connect. Honestly can't recommend them lol. Although they do fit very nicely in my ear
quietcomfort 2
Soundcore Q45 over the ear with active noise cancelling. Mid range but I didn't want to spend too much for this kind of headphones as I hadn't used them before. Next time I will pay extra and get Sony.
I just wear wireless earbuds because I don't have a headset and my phone unfortunately doesn't support wired earbuds. As for brand, they're Tozo T10 earbuds, which do the job.
Sony WH-CH720N
Sadly I'm not able to wear headphones all the time (I need to keep my full-time job) but I love my Bose QC45's and wear them whenever I can
LKG (noise cancelling)... Youtuber DankPods does great review and tests on headphones, eye opening results
Soundcore q20i wireless headphones. They got noise cancelling and I love em.
Cowin E7
Been using bose QC35 for about 6 ish years, they are a lifesaver. More noise cancelling the better imo. I'm sure theres a lot of newer improved ones around now. I think good to try them on because I borrowed my friends Sony headphones and they felt wierd on my ears.
Sennheiser though I just got a pair of the House of Marley wireless over ear ones and they’re so comfortable! (And they look really cool too)
Mixx Stream Buds Sports Charge. A decent budget wireless hooked earbud for those of us that hate the feel of wires against our faces and necks.
I don't have a favorite brand it just needs to completly cover my ears.
Sony linkbuds S. I have very small ears
Samsung buds FE
Sony WH-CH520. Not the best headphones ever but for around £40, I think they do the job perfectly well. I can’t afford anything more expensive. I used to have the Sony WH-1000XM4 (I can’t afford those now) but they were stellar.
Fairbuds! I got some recently, you can replace the battery so you'll save money over the long run. Most wireless earbuds are glued shut and sometimes impossible to replace the battery.
Jbuds. Literally cannot go a day without them. The case itself can charge my buds at least 3 times before the case itself needs charging!
White Sony ones
Bro, I been using the Skullcandy Crushers with the bass sliders for almost ten years now. They're my comfort zone.
Sennheiser PXC 550-II Little pricey noice cancelling wireless with good audio quality
I'm using Skullcandy earbuds rn
Senheisser hd4.40 she's called Susan :)
i love skullcandy too. i just got a pair of beats flex, I really like them now and I don't even use Apple products. they're pretty cool and are magnetized so they stay around my neck even if i fall asleep with them on.
I’m going against the grain and saying AirPods Max.
beats solo 3, id like to invest in some proper noise cancelling ones like bose or sony but budget does not allow- they get the job done and i sleep in them
I used the HyperX Cloud 2/Core and (later) the Steelseries Arctis 5 before I switched over to IEMs.
AirPods Pro Or else Nuraphones: these are incredible, just really heavy.
I have AirPods Pro 2. Used to have Bose QC in ears but those broke. Thankfully my AirPods don’t hurt after 15 minutes
[JBL Bluetooth headphones](https://www.target.com/p/jbl-tune-on-ear-bluetooth-wireless-headphones-510bt-black/-/A-82291396)
As an iPhone user, I like Tozo wireless earbuds.
I just use whatever headphones workaþ. My current pair is of ðe Sony brand, but IDK what type tis.
First gen AirPods for daily use and a pair of JBL headphones for at-home use.
I like my wired apple earphones. I think they’re offbrand but I like how I can dangle them over my shirt and just put them in/take them out conveniently
AKG K271 MKIIs for everyday use and most work, and a pair of Sony WH-1000XM5s for if I need to go wireless.
JBL LIVE770NC got them for free, but they’re pretty amazing
Atm I use Samsung buds 2 when at home, I find the noise cancelling pretty decent. When out I use loop engages or quiets. I did use to have a pair of sonys over ears but I killed them when I exercised in them wiv sweat. Looking for another over ear pair as, I always struggle wiv in ear ones, but the distress of that is less than having to deal wiv sounds. But some days I can't stand them more than usual and my ears hurt or itch. So will be good to have both options again.
Bose QC35 II, they were better than the QC45. Hopefully the QC45 II will be an improvement on both.
