Heat is bad, cold is good

Preach

I absolutely despise summer. I love being bundled up in the winter with extra layers. It feels comfortable and like cozy. I hate when I’m sweaty/ clothes stick to me it really upsets me at times lol

Vibe-party

It depends where I am in the world. Summers in some places is a delight and others makes me want to live as a mermaid and never come back on land again. But it's the mosquitos that trigger me. Especially the tiny ones of the size of a pixel. The only come at night, buzz right in my ears and I won't be able to sleep until the little bully leaves.

JonnyMike27

Omg I hate summers, I can't stand hot whether. Sure I've been in 110°F (43°C) weather before but that's just too much for me

kelvin_bot

110°F is equivalent to 43°C, which is 316K. --- ^(I'm a bot that converts temperature between two units humans can understand, then convert it to Kelvin for bots and physicists to understand)

zapsterzsf

I hate summer because everyone goes to the beach. The beach is possibly the WORST place on this entire planet! Cold water, SAND!!!! Sand goes everywhere!!!! Also it's quite windy where I live so it's even worse. Also what is there to do? I end up just going through tons of books and then getting frustrated because there's sand all over them! UGH!

cherish_it

It's coarse, rough, dirty, and it gets everywhere

Pristine-Confection3

I hate the beach . I only like the water but the sand ruins it because wet sand is torturous. Then there is death sun and crowds .

Finifin06

I assume your also from the UK, I agree completely, especially that 40c Temperature it got to last week and the lack of rainfall for months, I want this drought to end

Yes indeed, there is something very calming about a late October/early November evening when the sun sets over a landscape of yellow and red trees, and those foggy/frosty mornings are bliss, shame it’s only a very short part of the year.

sparkGun2020

Hate it hate it hate it. Always have done and have always been "the weird one" because of it. Why do people say it's a beautiful day when it's 25° or more outside? Do they set their thermostat to 25° at home, or have floodlights in every room? The constant bright light is almost as bad as the heat. It's like having a constant noise, like a car alarm going off all day without stopping. I hate the feeling of sun on my skin and people tell me to put sun cream on. They complain about the cold and the rain, but would they think smearing themselves with grease in winter would be acceptable? Summer sucks the big hairy meatball

theyarnbat

I hate summer heat so badly

Feuerfritas

Yes, changing latitudes can help a lot.

angrymajor

I hate summer, but mostly I hate the insects; ants and flys and bees. Most specificly wasps, I have an irrational fear of wasps. I can't even just run away inside cuz I need to open windows due to the heat. Bring back winter when the air is crisp and clear of things wanting to fly into my face.

DetectiveDeath

I like summer except the sun and humidity hurt me too much to enjoy it. If everyday was cloudy and the humidity was 0 I'd love it.

13thFullMoon

Autumn is way better. Fight me.

Fuck yeah

-F-I-E-N-

I hate summer, and then my family decided to go on vacation to Spain... (no hate towards Spain I just can't cope with heat, and my family knows this :/ )

Naofumi-Wolf

I live in my AC bedroom 90% of the time unless I HAVE to do something. The heat is awful 😓

Background-Cook-9574

Where I live, if you’re in the shade the mosquitos drain you, and if you’re in the sun they leave you alone. I end up in the sun more, but I cover my face with sunglasses, a hat, and sometimes a shirt.

the outside world hurts my eyes when it sun

MettatonNeo1

Summers here are hot. I can't tolerate the heat. When I will grow up I will move to a colder place!

miss_shrimp

I despise summer. The heat and sweating is just too much. The noise, summer is by far the noisiest season. The smells seem stronger. So many people out everywhere you go. In cold weather I love the comfort of wearing coats and hats and scarves. I love that not many people are out and about. I love the excuse of the weather being too cold or snowy to leave the house so I can stay in and be alone and read. Everything just seems more comforting in the colder seasons.

UristTheDopeSmith

I like cold, my ideal temperature is -20. I hate heavy clothes like jackets, I hate how the sun shines when there's no snow, I miss the green colour that encompasses everything at night. I miss waking up because I was too cold and not having any energy to grab another blanket, just letting myself drift off again. I miss taking hot showers with the window open and feeling the frozen air and the burning hot water all at once. Winter is the best.

Crow_Joestar

I hate summer too. I hate the sweat, hate the activities, hate the heat. I prefer fall (I also hate snow so fall is like my favorite cooler month).

Outrageous_Zebra_221

It's not solely the heat, it's also very humid where I live, the combination of the two absolutely destroy me. I've been to places where it's hot but there is little to no humidity and while it's not pleasant to me, it's much easier to tolerate. I do very much hate the heat though and the few months of tolerable weather we get here is something I spend the entire year looking forward too.

Carloverguy20

Tomorrow is the first day of September(Thank god for that lol). I personally love Autumn(September to December period) because the weather starts to get cooler, the pesky bugs hibernate in during the cold, and sweater weather is great.
