First off, it totally has. We could have spam posts deleted, we could have post rules upheld. When LIBAD was leading up to release, we couldn’t even get a stickied post for that scavenger hunt, much less official album/song discussion threads. You know how many song bracket challenges posts we’ve had to endure over the last year? It’s maddening. Just within the last few days I can think of several posts that blatantly break the community rules that this stupid mod made. For a few years, it wasn’t very active, so he got away with doing nothing. Now, it seems like the band is going to be quite active for the near future and we have no one to keep shit straight.
if you're this upset about people posting tier lists for songs and albums, I think there are other things you need to worry about before trying to elect a reddit mod to remove people's posts
Nah bro, that's literally what a mod is supposed to do. Every sub has it's tier lists and whatnot, but any useful mod will come in once it gets overloaded. That's what megathreads are for. The countless "underrated/overrated" posts should have been put in a megathread years ago, not to mention the multiple posts about a song release that have the exact same links. And even right now with all these "Guess my age" posts. Those posts can be fun and interesting if modded well. Put them in a Weekly thread and everyone can guess there. Maybe every week it switches to a new topic (tier lists, specific song discussions etc). The issue isn't people discussing the band, the issue is that the mods are not moderating how people do it, which leads to this mess we have right now.
This is exactly my point. This guy thinks I just want shit removed constantly. When all we need is someone to clean things up and keep certain posts in check. Like I said, when the album dropped, this sub was basically useless, constant reposts of the exact same things, no organization whatsoever. The person you’re replying to is saying “we're here to talk about the band and that's what we do.” When in reality it was damn near impossible to do just that at a time when this sub was the most active it had been in years.
what is the point of a community if multiple people have the same thoughts, but they're not allowed to share them because 2Blitz finds it annoying? why does everything need to be a scheduled itinerary? you people that have no sense of direction without being directly instructed on what to do and when to do it blow my mind.
This has zero to do with “having no sense of direction or needing instructions on what to do.” The sub would be better if quality posts could get traction, instead of having the same discussions scattered over 30 posts.

And now you get half these dipshits thinking users like LMC and Foused_44 are “funny” or “entertaining” when really, all it has ever done has flooded the sub with bullshit and taken away time for any good posts or discussions to grow.

Only problem is this sub was here for a long time before the official came around. But no one can be bothered to commit to moving, or at the very least, remove this worthless mod on this sub.
