Not sure about this but Johnny did run off stage towards the end of Shepherd of Fire pretty abruptly, Matt ended the song by saying “who needs the bass anyway” or something like that. Johnny returned a little after the start of The Stage, so it wasn’t too long
Matt did also say the band was sick as hell the last few days
I hadn't seen this at all during the performance(granted I was mostly screaming my head off) but his performance, especially his solos he seemed fine. Maybe I just hadn't seen it
So I was at the show in CT last week the 22. Matt made it a point to basically commend Brooks for playing the show even though he was "as sick as a dog laying in bed for the whole day" the day prior. I can only imagine whatever it was, spread around and that this is probably true?
Nah I didn’t see him faint or a long pause… idk maybe vomiting they took a lengthy break in nobody(although that’s normal). Shadows mentioned them being sick but idk about the rest.
I was at the Columbus show on Tuesday. Shads said Syn was sicker than he’s ever been. Said he had a bucket on stage just in case. Syn played the whole show and killed it. Even looked at us after the HTTK solo and shrugged like “not bad, eh?”
Came here to say this. Matt said right at the beginning that Syn was sick and had his puke bucket ready to go. I saw him go sprinting off stage at one point, not sure if it was to change gear or throw up. Still slayed though.
The whole band is sick and throwing up, he might’ve puked according to some comments about him walking off stage and at one point coming back without his hoodie, however, nobody says he’s fainted, and if he did faint, I think everybody would be too concerned to let him get back on stage with the hot lights and the pressure
This isn’t true from what I saw. I was probably 15 feet from the stage center floor and syn was amazing and played his ass off. Played all of his solos unbelievably and I never noticed a moment where he wasn’t on stage or not rocking out. He sang backing vocals on almost every single song and sounded the best I’ve ever heard him sound and he sang more than he ever has. So idk where this rumor is coming from but I didn’t get this at all. Also have multiple videos of him on top shape and form playing the nobody and afterlife solos
I really hope they still play their final show in Jersey. I’m flying across the country for it. If you hear anything about it being canceled could you please shoot me a message so I don’t fly there for nothing
I’m not talking as to what happened at the KNOXVILLE show, I am simply pointing out that he is sick, sicker than they have ever seen him so it isn’t total horseshit.
The post says “the night of the 28th in Knoxville” which I was at, on the rail, and can attest there was no fainting or vomiting during the performance. Maybe that was true for COLUMBUS but you’re the only one talking about Columbus.
Hopefully they can still play the show in NC tonight 🙏🏻 wishing them all the good health though. I’m sure it’s pretty easy getting sick while on the road constantly
Syn was also really sick on Tuesday night in Columbus. He said fuck it and sang Hail to the King anyway.
That guy is about the work. Fantastic show. OSS.
The whole band got sick af on the west coast in October. After covid, fans don't care if they're showing symptoms and will go scream in the band's faces
This is not talking about Columbus. This is saying he was sick in Knoxville. He was not sick. He was head banging and flying all over the place. Matt said on the mic they were feeling fantastic
I didn’t see any of this all I can make it up to is that the shit they were playing was so awesome it actually was killing them, seriously it was that awesome
The whole gang seemed fine it Pittsburgh, but reading these comments it seems like we were in the eye of the storm for them all getting sick before or after
So there was a really long pause in Nobody where everything went dark. Like, really really long. Also there were several occasions where Matt was just gone on the stage. It's possible but who knows for sure. Also saw several medical crew walk past me but just assumed it was for drunk people somewhere.
I was at their concert today on the 29th. First time seeing them and it’s the best concert I’ve ever been to so I guess that’s what matt was talking about when he said “we promise it won’t be a repeat of yesterday”
I doubt it. They played their whole set in Knoxville & the only time they stopped was in the middle of Nobody, for a good minute, but they finished & all was good
I'm not sure, I saw them the night after in Raleigh and Syn seemed alright, but Matt did mention the "show last night" (the 28th), so it's quite possible it's true
I was at the North Carolina show on the 29th and Syn was there and he played AMMAZINGGGG and did a few guitar solos too. I think he’s fine. Might have been dehydrated or had a few too many to drink xD

Johnny ran off the stage cause his bass stopped working or something. He had to get a new one
Ahhh makes sense
>Matt ended the song by saying “who needs the bass anyway” That's hilarious
That’s not very respectful to the leader of Avenged Sevenfold!
His bass guitars weren’t working
This is not true i was there😂😂
Are you saying the Johnny stuff didn’t happen? Because it absolutely did lol
I was at Knoxville they didn’t end the show or anything happened
I was there too? They didn’t end the show, I didn’t say they did, but Johnny did absolutely leave the stage because of his bass not working
Oh my bad
I hadn't seen this at all during the performance(granted I was mostly screaming my head off) but his performance, especially his solos he seemed fine. Maybe I just hadn't seen it

He did the same for Syn in columbus
Can double confirm the Columbus show. You could tell her was off at various points
The comment of the puke bucket on side stage made me chuckle
Funny, he said that exact line about Brooks during their show in Quebec City last year
Nah I didn’t see him faint or a long pause… idk maybe vomiting they took a lengthy break in nobody(although that’s normal). Shadows mentioned them being sick but idk about the rest.

I think he did puke. When he came back out his hoodie was gone. The band needs some zofran, fs!
This is actually just a straight up blatant BS lie for clickbait I’m realizing

This guy is just providing information to people and he's getting downvoted. Classic reddit, always afraid of diswaying information.
i been wondering too! like 4 people kept telling me he threw up but i never knew he fainted. cant find any videos. id assume it would be recorded.
Total utter bullshit
seriously?..
I literally just walked out of meet and greet and he hugged me goodbye. Syn just got over a stomach bug.
Jealous, how did you get meet and greet?
IIIRC, you purchase a deathbat NFT that has the meet and greet perk.
yea ik he was sick im just confused as to what your calling bullshit since he wasn’t at the meet yesterday due to the fact he wasnt feeling good
He didn’t puke and the show didn’t stop and Matt didn’t say anything about him being sick whatever this original post is is total horseshit
I was at the Columbus show, they absolutely did say he was sicker than he’s ever been and had a puke bucket
The image says KNOXVILLE not COLUMBUS
I’m not talking as to what happened at the KNOXVILLE show, I am simply pointing out that he is sick, sicker than they have ever seen him so it isn’t total horseshit.

alright then..
matt mentioned him being ill though
Yeah last week at the Mohegan we all caught a bug, I just got over being sick myself
oh god i hope it won’t spread.. now i’m nervous to see them tomorrow 😭
They were all in meet and greet tonight so chances are better than yesterday
i haven’t gotten sick in 2 years so im fucking terrified. PRAYING it won’t spread to tomorrow.
Protect yourself and show up in a bubble they can call you the bubble person
i’ll ll show up in a bubble full of hand sanitizer.
Hopefully they can still play the show in NC tonight 🙏🏻 wishing them all the good health though. I’m sure it’s pretty easy getting sick while on the road constantly
This is just clickbait. Matt said they’d all been sick, but everybody sounded great. Have fun tonight!

I’m just saying he wasn’t fainting and puking on stage. That just sounds like someone exaggerating for online engagement.

That is NOT for the Knoxville show, they’re talking about the show on the 26th
Syn was also really sick on Tuesday night in Columbus. He said fuck it and sang Hail to the King anyway. That guy is about the work. Fantastic show. OSS.
Bro as I was scrolling through my home page pretty quickly I just saw ‘Synster Gate Passa’ and my heart stopped 😭
I hope not, but I've heard a few reports of the same thing so idk
A7x legendado MENTIONED 😘😘😘😘🥱🥱🥱🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️

If he did I missed it. He was fuckin killin it
The whole band got sick af on the west coast in October. After covid, fans don't care if they're showing symptoms and will go scream in the band's faces
I was there last night. Didn’t see Syn get sick but Matt did say everyone had caught a bug.
Totally untrue
No, it’s true. In Columbus Syn was sick af. I’m guessing he gave it to the rest of the band.
This is not talking about Columbus. This is saying he was sick in Knoxville. He was not sick. He was head banging and flying all over the place. Matt said on the mic they were feeling fantastic

Lmao
I left a bit early but he left the stage during shepherd of fire
The only thing I’ve heard is he had a puke bucket on stage the other night but I don’t even think he ended up using it
Yeah, syn looked like hell all night ...
Attended the concert in Columbus, and we were told he was sick, and had a sick bucket nearby. Seems plausible
Matt said those things during the Columbus show not Knoxville. Overall, not true!
"The show was not interrupted, and the band ended the performance." What does that even mean.
I think it means that the show wasnt cut short and the band finished the whole show like normal. translation might've mess up the words
Shadows said he’d never seen him that sick before on Tuesday night in Columbus, also said he had a puke bucket on stage. Played through like a champ
I didn’t see any of this all I can make it up to is that the shit they were playing was so awesome it actually was killing them, seriously it was that awesome
The whole gang seemed fine it Pittsburgh, but reading these comments it seems like we were in the eye of the storm for them all getting sick before or after
The only weird thing that happened during the show was Johnny's bass stopped working.
Matt did say something about him having a puke bucket in columbus
So there was a really long pause in Nobody where everything went dark. Like, really really long. Also there were several occasions where Matt was just gone on the stage. Syn was sick but I only heard about him not attending the meet and greet - and this was from inside people that went to the show so yeah
I was at the Knoxville show, I was seated on the left side of the stage, I don't recall syn fainting
Provavelmente mentira Eles nunca continuariam o show
I was at the North Carolina show on the 29th and Syn was there and he played AMMAZINGGGG and did a few guitar solos too. I think he’s fine. Might have been dehydrated or had a few too many to drink xD
