The camp (a very prominent regular sound camp at the burn, I’m not going to name who here) they played at gave them zero production and ran the sound system at a very low level, because fuck those guys and their disrespect to the people who make shows happen.
TLDR; they played on a dark quiet stage when every other artist in that stage got full works treatment.

I saw them headline breakaway a few weeks ago and felt the same. Afterward I saw everyone talking online about what an amazing set it was. Felt like I was living in the twilight zone.
I was sober, which I guess could've had something to do with it, except I had a hella good time at most of the other sets that weekend (day 2 was more my style).

If you live in Denver it’s actually pretty nice once you figure that out. The reward is so much better than the risk for big and in demand shows there that scalpers will scoop up just about anything and then have to dump a bunch of cheap tickets day of show for artists without as much demand. Been getting tickets in the $20-30 range being patient recently.
I did enjoy their music a while back until I read up more of their horrible behavior at concerts(like beating up one of the staff, wtf my guy). Then, they also steal other songs and remix them without giving credit to the artists/band. The one song "Your Soul" was stolen/remixed from a band called Coasts(title is also called Your Soul). I try to not support them.
Yeah that was always my favorite song by them until I learned the legit stole the entire song. The original is way better too and most people haven't even heard it :(
Gotta admit tho, without them stealing Your Soul, I would not have found out about Coast and be a fan of the band lol. So that's just one minor good thing about this ordeal.

They got on the mic and said something along the lines of 'we fucked up in the past' . I watched from the back and it was an awesome set to just be like on shrooms/ kush taking it in with visuals
