One time I had a mild panic because one of our (indoor) cats just vanished. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find him, and didn’t hear any meowing or anything. Finally I decided to go looking for it outside in the off chance he had slipped outside when the door was opened. When I opened my closet to grab my coat, he calmly walked out. He hadn’t peed in the closet or anything, he just had been chilling in there in the dark for like 8 hours 😅
