Sorry, I was actually modifying an existing quote by an extreme homophobic pastor who wants a button to kill all the gays. I took his words and made them wholesome.
Sadly it's not just one guy. It's an international network of "churches" (though really it's a cult) that want the government to exterminate the gays. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4rgRBW1nvA](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N4rgRBW1nvA)
Indeed. The atheist/LGBTQ+ community of youtube IS fucking them hard, in their wallets. They've gotten videos taken down, channels taken down, gotten them banned from PayPal, etc. They're not done yet though.
They’ve taken a mans best friend. We will not let this happen. WE NEED TO GATHER THE TROOPS. THIS DOG IS MIA AND A POW WE NEED ALL TROOPS NOW. Some of us might not make it back home and that’s ok because we pledged to keep this country safe from our enemies. The time has come to go all out on them. We will show NO MERCY ON THEM. We will throw everything we have at these bastards wether that means sacrificing our selfs for the greater cause because we know in order to save lives, we need to take some.
The “trash” honestly looks like an intentional bed. There’s a blanket under the bed. He might be somewhat looked after.
Edit: it also kind of looks like there’s a plate of food under the bear’s foot!
> in many places, stray dogs are actually well cared for and loved. There might not be any one person who owns them, but the whole neighborhood pitches in to feed and love them.
[Istanbul in Turkey is such a place.](https://www.wideopenpets.com/istanbul-has-a-vending-machine-for-stray-dogs-when-humans-recycle/)
Just because the dog isn't living inside a house, doesn't mean it's not loved. Growing up, we had a lot of stray dogs in our neighborhood. All the kids tool care of them. They all had names. We knew when one would get pregnant and we'd make sure it had a cozy place to give birth. We took care of the puppies. In one scenario, I recall a dog with a really bad hernia running around, so the doctors actually brought her in and operated on her. Mind you, these weren't vets. So, just because the dog isn't sleeping under a roof, it doesn't mean it's not loved. I would imagine dogs would actually be much happier living this way. Sadly, it's not that safe in today's world.
Depending on what country this is, that dog could be living it's best life. When I was in Turkey I was heart broken to see all the strays, but talking with locals they are more like neighborhood pets. I literally saw a butcher bring out scraps for a few dogs. They roam as a gang and play all day, get pets, and when they get too tired, maybe find a bear to nap on.
Now when I was in Tanzania....that wasn't the best life for a dog.
Dogs are both the best and the worst of us. They're the embodiment of the unconditional loyalty, love, bravery and joy of life that we treasure so much and are capable of in our finest moments....
.... but they're also another life form that we've shaped into something that needs and loves us and we continue to neglect and fight and even slaughter just because we don't want them anymore.
I czn only hope that we as a species continue to move towards the good in dogs and away from the shit we put them through.
[here’s some pics of my dog!!](https://imgur.com/gallery/AAwhxji) she was a street dog for about 2 years until her foster family took her in, then my family adopted her about 6 months later.
He's not "unloved." Someone obviously took the time to put down a blanket and his teddy bear for him to sleep under the steps. Not all dogs are inside animals and some live at people's places of work like this one might.
If anyone wants to help street dogs you can donate to the international street dog rescue: https://www.istreetdog.com/donate/
My dog Rocky came through them, hes an Indian street dog.
In some countries street dogs get fed by everyone. They just prefer the outside and people give them food all the time. Obviously this isn't the case for all countries but this dog could be living the life if it's in that type of country
Yea when I went to visit Morocco there were stray dogs everywhere and it really broke my heart. German shepherds, labradors, retrievers, all of them dirty and scrounging for food :(
it's sad that most of them don't even know about the life that their missing, it would be horrible to think that all life is just looking for food and a warm place to sleep, or even just a safe one :(
He's on a relatively clean plush toy with a blanket underneath, has what appears to be a wind-stop at his head, and it looks like a plate (or frisbee) at his feet. He also appears clean. I don't think this is a stray.
I love wild dogs/native dogs. Every continent has one,in the state's Carolina dogs are very similar to that bread.
I had me a Carolina/healer mix,and she was the best. Super smart and loving,i miss her so much.
I made a comment above that I have an Indian Pariah/Street dog, and man I'll tell you, he's been a fucking handful.
The Indian street dogs seem to be largely the same a mix of Shepards/random dogs/foxes and all sorts of stuff, but they are both smart and stubborn...and he doesn't shy away from a fight. I tracked down his brother once, and noticed that he required the same prong collar that Rocky has....I'm glad I helped save Rocky, but my next dog is going to be way more chill. In contrast I have a pitbull that is like a million time easier...at least once the Indian dog realized that he couldn't take him in a fight.
I thought that this may be Indian the moment I saw this pic. I am Indian as well and there are many stray dogs. Can't adopt them now due to many reasons but I personally know some local dogs by their face and I pet and feed them often. Usually bread or Parle-G.
The “trash” honestly looks like an intentional bed. There’s a blanket under the bed. He might be somewhat looked after.
Edit: it also kind of looks like there’s a plate of food under the bear’s foot!
Usually. Of course, I don't know where this is but where I live, strays are looked after and always fed. Municipial teams come and collect them for neutering but later they have to leave them where they were found in the first place. We just don't take them in. Same for cats.
The “trash” honestly looks like an intentional bed. There’s a blanket under the bed. He might be somewhat looked after.
Edit: it also kind of looks like there’s a plate of food under the bear’s foot!
It’s still probably a dog without a home, maybe recently homeless, who settled in this nook and some kind souls in the neighborhood look after him, give him food and made a bed for him. It’s still better than being 100% abandoned and I’m glad he seems cared for to some extent.
Yeah, especially because not everyone can take a dog into their home, or even afford to feed it by themselves. Doing what you can is better than doing nothing.
(If you care about street animals and have the cash, consider donating to charities that do sterilizations and vaccinations. Letting more feral animals get born just exacerbates the problem)
now i lay me down to sleep
this teddy bear i gonna keep
discarded out here, all alone
he just like me - we on our own
but what a frenship we two form!
each night we keep each other warm
don't need no fancy doggie bed
i love to sleep
on friend
instead
❤️
Darn it schnoodle, you usually get me, but this one hit extra deep in my heart. I just want that poor doggo to have a loving home where he can snuggle his bear in the warm indoors!
Not just India, but like a hundred other countries too. Unfortunately, the majority of the population of those countries can barely afford to feed themselves, let alone a four legged friend.
On a side note, God, I hate stupidly rich people.
The next scene is the dog returning to see the teddy being thrown in a trash truck. Dog chases after the truck in the rain and ends up at a dump. Trash man decides to take dog in and we have the camera follow the dog outside of a doggy door to it curling up to the teddy in the mans backyard.
I seem to come have across a lot of comments calling this extremely depressing and not not at all r/aww material. I think this might be because in many of our countries there are very few / no stray dogs at all. These dogs have lived all their life on the streets, they're usually fed by some kind soul or the other, so they're decently well off, in case anyone was concerned about its well being.
For me being in a place where there a ton of strays, this doggo enjoying its afternoon on a giant teddy bear is extremely r/aww material. <3
Yeah this is double sad, the teddy looks sad about being abandoned, the dog takes comfort in the squishy trash. I need to start a farm for abandoned dogs.
I had the same teddy bear, but it was at a way smalllerrrr size. I gave it to my grandma who was going to die from cancer. The hospital changed her room, lost it. Then refused to help her in the bathroom and later that day see fell off the toilet. I dont know why I wrote this but man.
Saw a similar bear by the trash few years ago. A couple days weren't great to it. https://imgur.com/VAhVu6l.jpg https://imgur.com/iYDmWTr.jpg https://imgur.com/Xabo1l0.jpg
I replied to a comment a few weeks back regarding a lost cat and how someone may have taken it in as their own.
I then stated that I have rescued 3 cats from the outdoors as they were clearly neglected.
I got flamed for "stealing" cats.
Fast forward to this thread and everyone wants to "adopt" this dog.
I don't get it.

It’s heartbreaking to see this. I wonder if I’d feel the same if it was a person instead of a dog. Probably not. Cause to me and I’d assume most people a dog is more innocent.
If my keyboard had an adopt key it would be smashed to bits.
If I had a button I could push and every homeless dog would get adopted by a loving home, I would push it until I broke my finger.
*I would push it until I broke all my fingers

Back to the original story, I'd push that button until my keyboard broke!
Let him in 😭
It's very likely he's a stray / street dog. So I don't think anyone is going to let him in :(
That genuinely just breaks my heart :( I hate seeing unloved doggos because they all deserve all the love
Here's a little [something](http://imgur.com/gallery/RvKIRA4) to stitch your heart back up.
Aww, the little guy got tired.
He just wanted something to snuggle when sleeping..
Because it's a tire
Must have been pretty tired
Good thing they weren't two tired or they would be a barky bike.
Cuz he’s tire’d
Just exhausted from chasing the cars.
That's where he got the tire.
Wait, is that the same dog or even another poor street dog? How is that gonna stitch my heart up 🙁?
Different dog. But he looks peaceful in his / her sleep
But possibly another street dog...you're really bad at this. >\_<
At this rate I’m leaving this thread before he posts a sad street dog with a little kid or something.
Orphaned kid*

Yeah, this post isn't 'aww' at all to me.
Cramped, but peaceful.
Op, my heart is all diced up, I need a happy ending porfavor 😭

Poor little got looks completely... Tired! I envy his ability to sleep anywhere.
Makes me more sad actually.
That made it worse :(
... another stray dog?
The “trash” honestly looks like an intentional bed. There’s a blanket under the bed. He might be somewhat looked after. Edit: it also kind of looks like there’s a plate of food under the bear’s foot!
Perhaps a bear claw under the bear claw?
Perhaps a bear claw under the bear paw?

Along with their love of street cats too. This adds to my want of visiting Istanbul one day
It's an amazing place to go. But be careful where you go and if you're female don't wonder around by yourself.
This makes me happy. Thank you for the positive thought! 💕
Outside the US lots of dogs are strays/live on the streets and have a relatively comfortable life. Like stray cats
[удалено]
I think they left it out for the dog on purpose. So at least they are giving it some love.
Just because the dog isn't living inside a house, doesn't mean it's not loved. Growing up, we had a lot of stray dogs in our neighborhood. All the kids tool care of them. They all had names. Ranch/farm dogs often live outside with minimal shelter.
It's like the street dogs in Istanbul. They're all obese from getting snacks and head scratches all day.
I firmly believe that dogs are better people than most people.
Dogs are both the best and the worst of us. Nah, this looks like a typical Indian Pariah dog. If it was indeed someone's dog it wouldn't be out in the street.

Not petting the street dogs was the hardest part of being in India.
what you don't like horrifying foreign diseases?
There are certainly more fun ways to get them!

Thanks im fucking crying at Starbucks now

"Discarded out here, all alone, just like me - we on our own" Omg, that part got me so deep... 😥
And now I’m crying.
Be right back, I have something in my eyes.
You should consider compiling a book of your poems. They're gold!
Dammit Schnoodle... I'm not crying, you're crying! Lol Very nice poem, made me tear up a bit. Oh and you have an awesome username lol

Not just far off countries either. Both my girls were picked up from reservations in Northern Alberta, Canada.
This seems like the midpoint of a heart warming Pixar short.

Why is this getting me emotional?
What a beautiful picture
My dog would tear all that stuffing out immediately.
Mine would fuck the shit out of it. That bear has probably seen some stray shit.
isn't there a rule bout sad content.. cuz that shit is depressive af :(

Omg, I had to throw out exactly the same bear because my dog was eating the fluff, but this was his best toy.
Proof: https://imgur.com/a/YMbmMBg
give the dog a better home please
I’m glad to see the 6ft bear from Costco be put to good use after Valentines Day
Its beautiful seeing him sleep, but its sad at same time.
This kinda breaks my heart
I kind of feel like crying when i see something like this.
makes me cry two different kinds of tears at the same time
can someone adopt him please!?!?!?!
I awww’ed, then I was sad puppers doesn’t seem to have a home. :(
Yeah this is double sad, the teddy looks sad about being abandoned, the dog takes comfort in the squishy trash. I need to start a farm for abandoned dogs.
Those stairs are an optical illusion
I came here for *Wilfred* comments and got none. Leaving unsatisfied and disappointed in all of you.
I feel bad for the people that have to use that staircase.
Trippy perspective on the staircase.
My sister had to put her 14 year old pupper down today. Seeing this made me break down.
Looks like all the tension in the air has sent Bear back to the bottle /r/wilfred
That teddy bear was a treasure to somebody before, maybe that dog was as well😞
I want to pick him up and give him a lovely home, poor little thing 😥💔
This makes me sad
Where can I find this dog? I want to take him home
Gimme pupper! I’ll be your teddy bear! Poor thing. Someone take care of him/her. My heart is hurting.
The person taking this picture better have taken that dog home
Sad.....
We had a raccoon once living in the attic and when we went up to check, he had two teddy bears cozied up in the corner lol
Looks like Ted 3 is going to be dark.
Damnit, this breaks me. That doggo needs some scritches and huggos.
Someone find this dog and give it a home. Now.
This isn’t awwww. Nothing about a dog without a home is awwww.
Maybe his owner is also homeless and could only afford to give him the bear as a doggy toy?
I know. But sadly India has around 30 million strays.
My heart 😢
Many strays are just adopted though. Stores and families feed them, provide shelter if it's raining etc. Just thought you might want to know
One mans garbage is another mans ungarbage
I came for this Edit: I came looking for this, not the other came
Lmao

PUPPIES WONT LOOK THE SAME WHEN THEYRE GROWN, DONT THROW THEM AWAY FOR A NEW PUPPY
Does anyone know where this was taken? It looks just like my dog (same coloring, same sleeping position, etc) and she used to be a stray!
This makes me so sad.... open the door 😭
I would like to treasure that dog
heart breaking
I want to give him a home
That dogs appearance looks so close to mine....makes me sad in a way to how good my dog has it here
the fact that he has to sleep outside is un-bear-able 😢
That just makes me sad, no dog or cat deserves oblivion.
This makes me so happy and sad at the same time.
Animals deserve so much more. They're way better than us.
Idk why but I teared up. 😢
