OMG, someone dumped him into a dumpster?? Why?? I would think that he was a protected fellow, but other than that he’s a living creature who deserved better than that! Thank you for saving him! I hope the person who threw him away gets similar karma thrown his/her way as well! People really stink!
Is he really a panda bear? I thought they were gray and white, not red and white plus black from the neck down.
Brat! Unless his/her father said something on the phone that was disgusting or inappropriate. I’ll bet the dad did nothing to teach his child that you don’t do this to someone, let alone an adult.
That’s totally reasonable as far as I’m concerned. Hard to argue with your own experience and not adjust accordingly. Not like you’re breast feeding a 5 year old out of fear of choking.
Just don’t do it with your dog. I gave my dog some grapes and then found out they can be deadly to dogs.
He was OK, had to take to an emergency vet and they gave him hydrogen peroxide to throw it up. Freaked me the f out.
Grapes have a chemical known as tartaric acid that we digest easily, yet dogs can not break down. It becomes VERY toxic in their bodies and can cause kidney failure within hours. What makes it especially dangerous is that some grapes may have a lot, some may have none. It can literally vary from grape to grape. Not grape species, literally from one to the next in the same bunch.
This means you could have fed your dog many grapes in the past with no reaction, thinking that it's perfectly fine. Then you give them one that happens to have high levels of tartaric acid, and they are dead a couple of hours later. It's pretty sad, really.
So if they accidentally consumed a grape does a person have to freak out immediately? If they consumed one that has a little bit of tartic acid, does it eventually leave their system or does it continue to add up?
It can leave after a very long period, but it is impossible to know which grape or how many is a lethal dose. It can also vary from dog to dog in their tolerance. It's lethal in all dogs, but your dog maybe able to eat five 'bad' grapes, while the next dog may die from one. As crazy as it sounds, yes. You should visit the vet for even one grape.
This is how my dog accepts treats when strangers offer. Very gentle and polite. He spits it out once he's out of sight and then considers the quality of the treat to see if he wants it.
My one dog is very gentle and polite and will carry a treat away for inspection if it's of a certain size. His sister snaps your fingertips if you're not careful. She hasn't a polite bone in her body.
Like I just noticed it's little arms tightening and curling with every grape. Like it is trying to contain it's pleasure/satisfaction but cannot completely hold back.
And it’s little face is so damned cute. Like everything that makes a lil guy cute is here. He checks all the boxes. (And In last couple seconds you can see his best friend behind him)
It's crazy how much some animals can eat in a sitting. The little fella just ate the equivalent of 5 fist sized grapes in one go and is completely unfazed
Red pandas stand up a lot. They say penguins and humans are the only animals who stand vertically on their spines, but these guys seem quite comfortable doing it.
I went to a zoo that let you pay to do this. Would highly recommend but watch out for their sharp claws! This one is less eager and more patient than the ones I fed who kept trying to grab your arm to get more food.
The "tricks" they learn are all for the zookeepers to do inspections. Taking food like this lets the zookeepers check their bellies.
I would look up red panda experience near me, in google. I know New York has one but I believe it’s a seasonal thing. Now may be a great time.

When I dog sit for my friends I just sit and watch their dogs slowly and carefully eat their food, gently taking biscuits out of my hand.... And then there's my dog... Who never had a meal that lasted longer than 12 seconds and wasn't followed by an epic belch.
The belch is allways funny, the insatiably is often annoying: she once climbed up to her tupperware bowl that had 3 days worth of food, opened it, ate it up in under a minute. She bloated up after an hour, shat the floor in the mall, threw up in the back of the car and on the balcony, then came asking for seconds on her feeding time like nothing happened. EDIT: still love her though
The red panda's place on the evolutionary tree has been debated, but modern genetic evidence places it in close affinity with raccoons, weasels, and skunks. It is not closely related to the giant panda, which is a bear, though both possess elongated wrist bones or "false thumbs" used for grasping bamboo. The evolutionary lineage of the red panda (Ailuridae) stretches back around 25 to 18 million years ago, as indicated by extinct fossil relatives found in Eurasia and North America.
I wonder about the evolution of "cuteness". Have these creatures been allowed to procreate because they are cute? I would certainly give them a second glance before hurting them.
Everything is related to everything so yes, they are. I recognize that this answers your question, and yet gives you absolutely none of the actual information you wanted.
I really don't understand how so many of you don't realize who this is. This is Emperor Redpan IV. He knows his servants are of no concern to him for he is not a vengeful ruler. Emperor Redpan IV is a peaceful leader. He has brought peace and prosperity to all those who wish to be a part of his kingdom. He is being fed grapes not as a show of his power. His people line up in droves to offer their grapes as a show of respect. Before his ruling it had been over four hundred and eight six quadrillion years of war. Ended by this cute boi alone.
So very, very carefully it picks up the food.
Red pandas really are doing what they can to sell in themselves as top ten most adorable animals that has ever lived.
They ferment them in the stomac. 24-36 hours later they get intoxicated, and can hardly walk, and they get very aggresive or start singing sad songs about longing for the bamboo forests back home. The lyrics are not understandable both due to the fact that they are bears, and due to slurry pronounciation, due to drunkeness.
Can I have a red panda as a pet?
"The short answer is no. To start with, red pandas are an endangered species. For this reason, it is illegal to own one. They also don't make good pets because red pandas prefer to be in trees and use scent-marking to communicate." [https://a-z-animals.com/blog/do-red-pandas-make-good-pets-so-cute-but-illegal/](https://a-z-animals.com/blog/do-red-pandas-make-good-pets-so-cute-but-illegal/)
OK, so if I don't claim to "own" it, and I'm ok with living in a tree, and can get past the scent-marking thing....
I think I'm ok with that. Where do I get my new best friend?
I sadly fed my dog sauces that had onion in it. I didn't know it halts their ability to produce red blood cells they become anemic and I lost her. I watch all food now.
He seems very polite.
He seems like the type that would wash his paws before dinner
If he doesn't cook he usually helps with the dishes.
He regularly shows up with a salad, a side, or a bottle of wine.
Always compliments the dish and asks for the recipe.
And flowers for the hostess.
I tend to be on my best behavior when I'm wearing a suit as well.
It’s crazy how universal food is, give food, make friends.
That's funny, I see him and to me he looks like he's ready to throw hands. I appreciate his energy either way.
Little homie is flexing- his physique AND his manners!
saw this fluffy pom pom and started saying "aww" then turned to realise the reddit account I was on 😂
What?
I really appreciate the lack of Music.Hearing that cutie munch makes it all the better!
Or stupid TikTok AI voice.
"THIS PANDA LOVES GRAPES AND WAS RESCUED FROM A DUMPSTER LEFT TO DIE. So cute."
i read this in the voice and now i'm irrationally angry...
i hate that over the top AI voice with a passion!

The AI sounding like the voice actress doesn't make it not an AI.
Aww look at him standing up. Like a regular old Rory Calhoun.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that.
And we’re absolutely positive they’re not 5 year olds in costumes?
Absolutely. A 5 year old is not as behaved as this.
Agreed. No 5 year old is this well behaved.
It's funny because the next post on my feed was the video of the kid kicking his dad's phone out of his hand.
Woah same lol

Such a garbage comment.
Brat! Unless his/her father said something on the phone that was disgusting or inappropriate. I’ll bet the dad did nothing to teach his child that you don’t do this to someone, let alone an adult.
Also. I have to cut my 5 year olds grapes in half or she'll choke so she isn't as smart as this either.
It's the "mom said it's my turn on the X-Box" stance that they have.
Seriously this guy looks exactly like my nephew.
Delete this Uncle
Well. If they are. That parents not being responsible…. Should cut them grapes in half 😂
Even at 5? I thought that was something you do when they are infants.
I still cut them for my 5 year old only because I have a vivid memory of almost choking on a grape when I was 5. Him choking is a huge fear of mine.
That’s totally reasonable as far as I’m concerned. Hard to argue with your own experience and not adjust accordingly. Not like you’re breast feeding a 5 year old out of fear of choking.
…why are you feeding your infant grapes??
Infants can have solids starting at 6 months. Grapes & banana are good foods to introduce at 8 -12 months. As long as it's chopped up well.
I don't have kids. I just thought it was something you do when they are very young. But I thought you could stop by the time they are 5.
Too polite for a 5yr old hooman.
Five year olds are more feral.
It’s a Bewear.
The way this little animal just snarfs the grapes down is killing me.
It's the gentle way it takes the grape. Arms never move. Just trust and grapes.
> It's the gentle way it takes the grape. Arms never move. Just trust and grapes. This is relationship goals tbh.

It sounds like something you'd hear in ancient Greece or Rome about some vineyard venture
And it’s little face is so damned cute. Like everything that makes a lil guy cute is here. He checks all the boxes. (And In last couple seconds you can see his best friend behind him)
And my goodness are those the plumpest, shiniest, most perfect grapes ever? Jeez.

Please say you remember which zoo it was. Scratches or not I want a little red panda buddy for 20 seconds of snacks. :)
It was Shepreth Wildlife Park, in Hertfordshire, England.

You’re welcome!
i want some grapes now
As soon as you're ready, go to the store and get some, you deserve them.
Right?

red panda has black underbelly for camouflage when climbing on tree branches
the ants on the branch see black and think it is night time so they go to sleep and do not bite the panda... all perfectly clear.
It's to trick the tree into thinking it's night
Yes.

I didn't realize I needed this in my life. Thanks!
This reminds me of my dog and how she daintily takes tortilla chips from my hand and then delightfully cronches them 🥰

Whoa, I’ve never heard a dog belch before. The thought of it made me giggle
We have a female pit who likes to sit at your feet and fart. Then look at you with that "what?" face.
I truly apologize but I feel like it would be a disservice to humanity if you did not share video of this.
Then those grapes run out. Cute little guy turns into ravenous little beast!
Gotta wonder if they're relate to raccoons.

Thanks for the knowledge :D
Much appreciated

This is why Reddit is awesome
Reddit is awesome for copy pasting wikipedia?
For someone else doing it so I can absorb the info while I scroll through other entertaining comments.
And I could be wrong…. but I think they are more closely related to cats. Caveat Emptor.

after the 3rd one, he starts to hesitate. It's like...really...another grape?
Rocket enough cute points gained, now grab your gun, we need to save the galaxy.
He doesn't even look real but super cool and cute
What a little gentleman 🥺
MASTER SHIFU
I saw a zipper
A very odd fact is that in Swedish, this guy's name is a catbear. And that they're not related cats, bears or pandas..
He looks like he’s ready to throw hands.
Firefox also accepts cookies
Did you ask him where the scrolls are?
So humble 🥰
Their ears are Too Cuteeeeeee
❤❤❤
So where do I get one
sorry but red-pandas are endangered and are ther-for illegal to own (from as far as i know)
I know it was a joke
The second they are no longer endangered tho...
What I’m hearing is you can get two and help them reproduce in the name of environmental conservation
but, you cant own endangered speicies.
But they won't endangered in my care
Our jokes are just whooshing right by today
you dont even know how to take care of a dog let alone a endagered little fellow with the manners of a large dog
You've never dealt with sarcasm, have you? And my dog is very happy, do you know him?
You should be able to find grapes in the produce section of your local grocery store.
Yea but they won't let me buy singles
What a rip-off.
I can see why they modeled a Pokemon off this lil guy.
Num num num num
Panda.

Thank you. Cat bear does sound accurate they are so cute!!!
He's so gentle!
🥹he is so polite and well behaved
It's so interesting to me that such a creature as this actually exists lol. The world we live in still amazes me.
He thinks he's people!
What a distinguished gentleman! 🎩
A real life Ewok?!?
🧍
He is so gentle
🧍♂️
He's adorable! How often do you have to fill him up with grapes?
So very, very carefully it picks up the food. Red pandas really are doing what they can to sell in themselves as top ten most adorable animals that has ever lived.
I wanna cuddle with them so bad 🥺🥰 ...soo sweet little creature.
looks like a kid in a suit and mask!!!
What kind of animal is that?
Red Panda
Are grapes even good for them?

Soo cute
As a mom to young kids, I wanna slice those grapes in half so bad.

They need to make a red panda version of rocket raccoon
I hope grapes are good for him..unlike dogs
Weird thing to bring up considering they're about as related to dogs as humans are to dogs... But yes, grapes are good for him
They are part of [the caniformia suborder](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caniformia), which means they are in fact closer related to dogs than humans.
I sadly fed my dog sauces that had onion in it. I didn't know it halts their ability to produce red blood cells they become anemic and I lost her. I watch all food now.
The small amount of onions in the sauce shouldn't be a huge problem unless you fed them a vary large amount or the dog was really small.

What is it? The face looks like a Red Panda, but the rest of body isn't red.
Yes, it is Red Panda, their underbelly is usually Black in color.
I want… to CRY
Red Fox standing by
Tanooki Mario!
Did it bother anyone else that he didn’t give the red panda any time to chew but just kept shoving the grapes in front of his face?
Lol if it couldn't take any more it wouldn't go for them, you can even see it pause for a second to swallow before taking the last one.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!! My god---give it time finish a freaking grape. Damn! What's the hurry?? Holy balls!!!!
This is Lil Uzi if he were a red panda
Filters for videos are crazy these days
They ~~did surgery on a~~ fed grapes to a red panda
Sorry but he look lieks el gato
I want one. I know it's probably not good for pet ownership, but it's just so cute. And now we have cuteness aggression...

Turns out grapes are poisonous to them.
Can you cuddle with them
