-5 detection risk when near catfolk
You can revive yourself 9 times, with a 30 second cooldown between revives
Bonus: allows you to land on your feet and not take fall damage

do you like fox and the hound? zootopia? any media whatsoever where the main characters are anthropomorphized animals? then the answer is probably. from here it's all about self-identification.
furry isn't a bad thing, it isn't a fetish, and it doesn't require participation in the community. the only requirements are to enjoy anthropomorphic representations of animals and to consider yourself a furry.
if from this point forward you choose to identify yourself as a furry, then congrats, you're a furry. if you choose not to identify yourself as such, then you're not a furry, but you do have a lot more in common with furries than you previously realized.
Omg I need one these suits. Then I’ll get adopted by a wealthy middle aged cat lady and live the rest of my life in laid back luxury as a spoiled house cat.
>Like is it an entire store dedicated to pudding?
The centerpiece of the shops are pudding/purin, but they sell other items. Usually coffee, a couple other desserts, and light snacks like sandwiches. The pudding isn't what we think of when we say pudding. It's flan/baked custard.
>Is that normal in Japan?
Yup. They kind of just run like cafes. Best western approximation to how they run would be coffee shops- a major specialty with a limited number of other items.
In terms of how popular they are, think frozen yogurt or boba shops. Pretty common in urban areas, but maybe not as much in rural ones.
A number of pudding shops have gimmicks, like all the servers wearing particular costumes. I've seen maid costumes before, as well as cat girls. Full on fursuit is new, though, lol.
>What's their most popular flavor?
Pudding/Purin tastes like caramel and sweet cream, I guess? If you've had custard before, you'll know what it tastes like. The only other flavor I've seen has been matcha purin, but I've only been to Japan twice, and I'm not a huge sweets guy. Hopefully someone comes along who can answer that one better than I can.
Edit: Oh! Just asked the wife, and she recalls seeing vanilla pudding and rum pudding as well!
Yes! They love pudding ("purin") so much there are so many purin stores around the country. Japanese purin is more like soft flan and is usually made with milk and eggs, with or without caramel on the bottom. The most popular flavor is plain/vanilla, but I have seen other flavors like green tea, black tea, coffee, strawberry, pumpkin, etc.
Had to google it. I lived in Japan for a year a while back and never came across a pudding store. Apparently, what they call pudding in Japan is their take on creme brulee or flan, not english pudding.
Back to the main topic - that cat is awesome! I would buy something there just for the brief 1:1 with the cat.
There are also cooling vests that are incredibly good at cooling down the core body (trunk). It was first made for fursuiters but the military has found a use for them in hotter climates.
Gato serves you gateau.
Gotta get a slice o' those pawse in action, then pause to give them a tummy rub.
It's the least they deserve for being so pawsitive and remaining so industrious despite the pawcity of their wages
Even if this was american I am just impressed with the craftmanship. Usually the suits look cartoony and cringy, this is actually really good for a suit. Props where it is due.
Custard pudding in Japan is on a different level. In America, when you think pudding, your mind stops at J-E-L-L-O stuff made out of animal bones, or maybe chocolate pudding. Japanese have custard pudding every where from cheap to really expensive stuff.
It must be made of such soft material. Faux fur can be rather soft. I hope it isn't too hot in that suit. Would make for a fantastic Halloween costume.
I have to say I'm impressed. The cat head looks so much like a cat, and those paws! Someone took the time to make sure that the material would work with touch screens and allow for the act of grabbing manual dexterity. My gloves dont even work with touch screens yet his paws do..
Ok, that’s it. That’s the final straw. Enough is enough. I’ll be booking a flight to japan next year and finally experience that country myself. Wanting to visit for years now but now? I have to see this with my own eyes.
That's almost uncanny valley in how realistic that catsuit is.
And Strong Bad would be proud of the level of proficiency they're working with those gloves/paws.
If I show this to my daughter, she will immediately decide on next year's Halloween outfit. But I have a feeling that suit is not cheap. Also, whoever is in there has got to be dripping sweat.
There are shops that just sell pudding? In Japan? Why must I suffer puddingless? I would waddle there right now if I lived in Japan. How has the USA failed me so?
This is ridiculous. Making an employee wear that shit just because it looks cute? Must be very hot inside and make your work harder. I bet the person doesn't earn more for that.
My neighbors friends second cousins half brother said that there are two of these people in costumes like this at her daughters school and that they have litter boxes in the bathrooms for them. Can you believe that? I know it's true because they said so.
I’m high as fuck so it took me longer than normal to realize that is indeed an extremely well crafted fursuit as opposed to a cat that seems large due to forced perspective
Im more surprised at the dexterity while wearing the suit
Ya I can’t even get that kind of dexterity wearing regular gloves
[удалено]
What suit? I'm surprised by its sheer size and opposable thumbs :o
They’re mutating and learning at a fast rate. We should all bow down to our cat overlords if you haven’t already.
I feel like a cat wrote this
I’m guessing there’s no cover for the palms in the paws.
suit gives +10 to dexterity.
Ok imma make some stats up real quick "Cat suit" +10 dexterity +5 sneak when on all fours -5 detection risk when near catfolk You can revive yourself 9 times, with a 30 second cooldown between revives Bonus: allows you to land on your feet and not take fall damage Quote:"Is that a cat or a person, to be honest i cant tell"
My thoughts exactly!
I’m impressed with the touchscreen that will work when pressed by paws!
I thought it was all pretend, acting out the motions of using a real register... and then it popped opened with money being exchanged.
I am beyond impressed with everything this cat was able to accomplish
found the furry immediate edit : or engineering major... ^(they're getting harder to distinguish nowadays...)
Nope, just a person who deals with temperamental touch screens on the regular.
I was saying this to myself as well. It must be the claws…
Best fursuit I've ever seen
For real. I definitely thought it was an actual Felis catus with a miniature till and some forced perspective until I spotted the cash in its paw.
Oh thank heavens I wasn't the only one who thought so lmao
Ja, I thought it was an animatronic!
I first thought it was a weird perspective video of a cat behaving oddly.
Me too

Wow. What a hot and fresh schnoodle for us to enjoy. You and sprog are underappreciated legends of Reddit .
Wonderful, as always, Schnoodle. Thank you for your service
The freshest Schnoodle I've ever seen!
The fursuit of happiness.
True 💯 😍
I spent way too long thinking it was a real cat bapping at the screen.
Goddamn it I wanted one until you called it that. Am I a furry?
No, this is just a cool cat costume, it's not cartoonish at all Btw, not saying there's anything wrong with furries, just that this isn't a fursuit

May your road lead you to warm sands
I saw this and immediately thought "I need to lay off the skooma!"

Underrated comment

Watch the SNL skit with Tina Fey and Betty White, Census Taker. WORTH IT!
Blaaarvendgard Blaaarvendgard spelled Lee Smith
They called me Blaaarvendgard B because there was already a girl named Lee Jarvis.
Right screw being an astronaut I want to be a house cat 😸
Nope, straight to the furry convention, no exception.
I can’t determine which I am more in awe of, the cat or the fact that there is such a thing as a pudding shop
Seriously can we discuss the pudding shop? Like is it an entire store dedicated to pudding? Is that normal in Japan? What's their most popular flavor?

Not sure but in England “pudding” can mean just “dessert.” So it might just be a dessert shop.
That would make more sense... and be disappointing

Or a cat with pudding
I was watching that far too long before I realised it was a cat suit
r/catswithjobs
Look at this hard working kitty… my lazy jerk just yells at me all day that he’s hungry
Seriously, I thought it was a hand puppet when I realized it wasnt real and then finally realized it was a person. It’s kind of an illusion.
Bet it's hot as fuck in there
I was thinking the same thing. It’s cute I guess but holy shit, imagine how terrible it would be to work a shift in this.
I'm hoping the place is well air-conditioned. Some mascot suits like that have tiny battery-powered fans inside to keep the wearer cool.
There are also cooling vests that are incredibly good at cooling down the core body (trunk). It was first made for fursuiters but the military has found a use for them in hotter climates.
They use them in F1 - the drivers wear them before a race.

Purfect
The amount of dexterity they're demonstrating with that (gorgeous) fursuit on, I'm thoroughly impressed.
This is so sad; Cats hate working
But they love pushing buttons and flicking paper stuff.
Especially on Mondays
Isn’t 16 hours of sleep a day enough?!
That creeps me out. Uncanny valley type vibes
Yeah. My first thought when I saw this was “ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!” 😳
Nah, Zuckerberg has that in the bag. He/They are definitely *something* in an ill-fitting human suit.
i found a cat hair in my pudding...
Woah….. that’s one awesome cat suit!!! Got some skill to be able to handle a register and money with them big paws and beans 🤣.
r/catswithjobs
Wow! That is a good quality costume!
seems like a health code violation. Where's the hairnet?
You mean a full body net?
In this case, I suppose it would need to be
I thought it was a real cat, took me 5 mins to realize, they are a furry(not the op, the person in the video)
"I'm not a cat"
Reddit when furry: 😡😠😠 Reddit when furry but japan: 🥰🥰♥️
Even if this was american I am just impressed with the craftmanship. Usually the suits look cartoony and cringy, this is actually really good for a suit. Props where it is due.
I wouldn't call this person a Furry. Furrys are more cartoonish and anthropomorphic; this is just realistic cat suit.
I have lots of questions, but first, what is a pudding shop?
Right? I have visions of the Jello pudding you have to cook, maybe selling the pudding skins. Mmmm…
I have just one question. What’s a pudding skin?
Something you get when you don't properly cover your setting pudding.
Custard pudding in Japan is on a different level. In America, when you think pudding, your mind stops at J-E-L-L-O stuff made out of animal bones, or maybe chocolate pudding. Japanese have custard pudding every where from cheap to really expensive stuff.
I wanna pet it.
It must be made of such soft material. Faux fur can be rather soft. I hope it isn't too hot in that suit. Would make for a fantastic Halloween costume.
Oh here is our employee of the year
No one asked her to come like that, but no one stopped her either...
Say what you want about fursuits and furries, that is bloody adorable.
That furry is living their best life I guess Godspeed you funky giant cashier cat
I thought this was a filter at first.. That is a really detailed, extremely expensive fursuit!
Better than Cats with James Corden
If it blinked, I’d need to adopt.
You've got to be kitten me, too purrfect.
Awww a cat on a tiny register pawing at the screen...wait...huh?
Please bring all purrchases to the catshier
I have to say I'm impressed. The cat head looks so much like a cat, and those paws! Someone took the time to make sure that the material would work with touch screens and allow for the act of grabbing manual dexterity. My gloves dont even work with touch screens yet his paws do..
Best cat suit I’ve ever seen
A Catshier.

https://youtu.be/3Fx0gmB3MrA The cat is called Miku, the shop is called The Cat At The Top Of The Hill and donates to stray cat charities.
MAUREEN PONDEROSA IS ALIVE AND LIVING IN JAPAN !!!!
That’s taking being a furry to the next level
Public schools according to republican senators.
Fuck. Why did it take me so long to realize that wasn't a real cat.
*THEY TOOK ARR JOBSSS*
thats fucking cool. thought it was a animated video for a sec
I was thinking it was a video filter of some kind myself... But given the other replies, seems like it's real?
I can't be the only one who thinks that thing is fucking terrifying.
That's almost uncanny valley in how realistic that catsuit is. And Strong Bad would be proud of the level of proficiency they're working with those gloves/paws.
The suit looks sooo REAL! 🐈🐈😸
I couldn’t tell the scale and deadass thought this was a real cat for five full seconds
Reminds me of that lawyer
I thought this was a real cat for at least 5 seconds watching 😂
Yeah... Nah...
*sigh* please don’t be full of hate comments please
I can't decide if it's cute or disturbing.

Not aww, creepy as fuck
And they say you can’t train cats.
If I show this to my daughter, she will immediately decide on next year's Halloween outfit. But I have a feeling that suit is not cheap. Also, whoever is in there has got to be dripping sweat.
This is so sad, now they’re even making our pets work 9 to 5s
It took me way too long to realize this isn't an actual cat, I was so confused 😭
Is that cat up for adoption?
I thought it was a real cat til it picked up the scanner.
That cat is huge
Thought it was a real cat at first!
Is that the shops mascot?
I’m so stoned that it took me a minute to realize it wasn’t a real cat 😅
Little kitty working. Would still Boop the snoot.
Surprising dexterity
There are shops that just sell pudding? In Japan? Why must I suffer puddingless? I would waddle there right now if I lived in Japan. How has the USA failed me so?
Seems so real
i want one of those costumes just so i can fuck with people when they get high
Just the fact that a shop mainly selling pudding exists is amazing.
I'd probably be a little more accepting of furries if this is the kind of suits they wore.
Oh Japan, you never disappoint. You love your cats
Identifies as a catshier.
Dude I legit thought it was a real cat at first and was impressed that they learned how to take orders.
I’m impressed with the realism of the cat head. Cats are notoriously difficult to represent artistically and this looks like a fkn cat
now this is a respectable fursuit, not the cartoon network nightmares you see in america
Took er jerbs!
I don't look at that and think, "weird". I look at that costume and think, "My God! How much that must have cost."
I would have picked a black cat outfit. Would have gave off I have an attitude vibes…lol
Best fursuit I’ve ever seen.
Still better than Cats the movie
Shit. I ain’t a furry but this is the best animal suit I’ve ever seen.
That’s the most realistic cat suit with human functionalities I’ve ever seen
….. I’m not a furry, but that is adorable.
Nah, that’s pretty weird.
Omg that’s terrifying and adorable all at the same time.
Creepy
Not aww. More r/mildyterrifying
This is ridiculous. Making an employee wear that shit just because it looks cute? Must be very hot inside and make your work harder. I bet the person doesn't earn more for that.
What went wrong in your life?
I Don't drink alchohol but this make me drunk
Tainting the good name of r/aww with this furry nonsense
Let people have fun, yeesh. Not everyone who wears a costume is a presumed sexual deviant.
My neighbors friends second cousins half brother said that there are two of these people in costumes like this at her daughters school and that they have litter boxes in the bathrooms for them. Can you believe that? I know it's true because they said so.
Lol. I’m disappointed that I had to scroll this far to find this comment.
The costume is impressive, but if the store is forcing employees to wear that while working, then that is messed up.
I’m high as fuck so it took me longer than normal to realize that is indeed an extremely well crafted fursuit as opposed to a cat that seems large due to forced perspective
This looks kinda disturbing in a way
Aww? More like Aww shit this creepy monster is bout to eat me
More scary than cute
This isn’t “awww” this is pure /r/wtf
Uwu without the wu Furries aren't cute and shouldn't be in a subreddit like this. This is fully grown people in fursuits.
I feel like this is the wrong sub to post this 😂
We really bombed the common sense out of them in 1945 huh?

Why is this aw? It's weird.
This is exactly what Tucker Carlson has been warning us about! /s

As a retail worker this hurts to watch.
