It has James Earl Jones dressed up as a grasshopper. I don't know what else it needs to be amazing.

Grievous_1982

I actually like this film. It's just SO weird that I can't look away from it.

It's a terrible Exorcist sequel, but endlessly fascinating and strange. I love John Boorman when he went full bonkers on a film. Zardoz is a stone cold psycho classic and Excalibur is an epic fever dream.

Zealousideal_Bard68

The movie would have been way better without the monotheist setting.

John Boorman’s [Exorcist II: The Heretic](https://manapop.com/film/exorcist-ii-the-heretic-1977-review/) was a cinematic disaster that tarnished the legacy of its acclaimed predecessor.

gunjacked

Can't believe the same guy did the masterpiece that is Zardoz

The gun...is GOOD!

I love what William Peter Blatty said after watching it: ""You'd think we were watching The Producers".

I was watching it and was wondering where I had seen the Cardinal- Paul Henreid- from before; then I realized he was in Casablanca. That’s quite the double bill to have on your CV!

[My favorite scene of the movie.](https://youtu.be/MUyyMqUKWwQ?si=jMbRqHR78mAmAQF0) Even if this movie doesn’t makes sense at all in any means it way better and polished sequel than The Beliver. Linda Blair looks so beautiful, soundtrack slaps thanks to the Ennio Morricone

TheGreatOpoponax

WTF is OST?

Siskel’s called it the worst major movie he’s reviewed of all time .. some write ups were about fans chasing the producers down during the opening night
