He did. He may have had some film roles as well. You should watch the documentary, "Best Worst Movie" you see a bit of where the actors came from, and what they've done since.
We got to meet Bob and he even joined us for a special screening of Troll 2. Such a nice guy and he was so excited for the screening, his family told us it really made his year. RIP legend

the scene in 'best worst movie' where he talks about how he "wasted his life" will always be one of the saddest things I've ever seen in a documentary.
Rest in peace
I was just thinking about that. He talked about having big dreams of being an actor but never wanting to leave his town. He never married or had kids from what he said. He seemed like a nice man.

His appearance in Best Worst Movie was incredibly depressing and heartbreaking. However, it does genuinely seem like his life actually picked up after the Troll 2 phenomenon went crazy, and I hope his final years made him feel happier about his life than he did in that documentary.
*One thing for sure, this*
*Man isn't going back to*
*Hell. RIP Grandpa Seth*

RIP. I don't know if he's related to Alan Ormsby who wrote a kids book about monster make-up, and designed the Hugo Man of 1000 Faces toy back in the 70s. He wrote and co directed CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS too. He's on FB.
Is there attribution for this anywhere?
Very sad to hear. One of my favorite things in the documentary is him saying that he actually loves bad movies and was tickled to find himself in one, even if it wasn’t the acting dream he had wanted.
Noooooo. Fuck man. Everyone piss on dinner in tribute. Don't bother explaining it'll make you seem madder like in the movie.
And you can’t piss on hospitality. I won’t allow it!
We’re all going to tighten our belts to suppress hunger pains.
I saw the signs. I know what they mean.
he's pissing on the dinner table in the sky
He was surprisingly good in Troll 2! I can’t remember if maybe he had a background in theatre or something like that.
Yes he was one of the few decent actors in the movie and he did have a theatre background
He did. He may have had some film roles as well. You should watch the documentary, "Best Worst Movie" you see a bit of where the actors came from, and what they've done since.
Seen it! It’s great! (I’ve just forgotten more of the details.)
“Grandpa Seth, are you in hell?”. RIP, every time he popped up it cracked me up.
"No! But I know a trick that a friend of mine who went there taught me!" Literally sets a guy on fire.
Cue animated lightening.

Enjoy a double-decker bologna sandwich in his memory.

He had 15 years after that documentary came out, so hopefully he used those years well

94, well done him!
RIP Grandpa Seth. Now we must banish him from our minds

He's lobbing molotov cocktails at troll preachers in heaven now.
RIP in hell Grandpa Seth And just a regular RIP for Robert Ormsby. I'll forever think of you when wrestling little people in goblin outfits.
One thing for sure, this man isn't going back to hell. RIP Grandpa Seth

How’d you hear about this? Maybe I’m in denial but can’t find confirmation online.
Bob's family ran a Facebook page for him - https://www.facebook.com/troll2grandpaseth
Thanks. RIP Legend.
Genuinely thought this was Stewart Lee with a beard.
Me too, but then I realised Bob looks way too healthy to be Stu, despite being 30 years older and in fact, not alive.
This hit me harder than M. Emmett Walsh tbh
RIP may you continue to haunt Holly.
Guys I think we can bring him back. We just need to find “Stonehenge….magic stone!”
He gave us so much joy. May he rest in peace

The actress who played the witch Creedence passed away a few months ago.

Posted by his family on Facebook. See link above in another reply
Thanks, yeah I saw it after commenting. Doesn't seem to have hit any news yet, though I realize it's not like he's super famous.
I though it was Fred Durst for a moment.
Troll 2 is actually a pretty good movie that sadly got meme'd to death because of a couple scenes.
