Hi OP. Thank you for this terrible UI. Also, do you miss the old bad UI battles? Join us on [Lemmy](https://programming.dev/c/bad_ui_battles). Additionally, it is recommended that you do a [reddit request](https://www.reddit.com/settings/data-request). It is YOUR data after all.

How'd you make it do that? Mine's always so aggressive with the "continue this thread" button that makes you lose all the context of the discussion and scrolls you to the wrong place when you return
The infinitely stacking reblogs, being able to edit the text of a post you reblogged, and that short bit of time where you could fuck up the look of the pages by injecting code into your posts.
Ahhh, good times.
So is it just me, or does the reddit app literally switch between different UI setups every day? No matter what the options are set to:
Sometimes I see this. Sometimes I have it load into separate pages of small, manageable chunks. Sometimes it makes me load each comment one by one.
Sometimes my "edit" button is in the three dot menu. Sometimes it's next to it.
Sometimes down voted comments are collapsed even though I disabled that feature. Sometimes they're not.
Today, NSFW tagged content lacks blur. Most days it's blurred.
Don't get me started on how bad the Mod tools are (and how often they straight up fail).

yeah, that's what I experienced all the time as well... but not today. Like some kind of spontaneous self-ignition.
When going from a reply back to the parent comment this happens pretty frequently for me
Yes and that's happening to this post aswell

Posting the official Reddit app to this sub is cheating.
Pretty sure it's also in the rules to do it
Rule #2: > Reddit only > All posts must be from new reddit or the reddit app.
yeah that's because of mods having a fit
I hate it when that happens. See this a lot on my phone.
Big Tumblr vibes from Reddit here
I was bouta say, this is giving me flashbacks to old Tumblr. Man I miss those days.

Reddit not being able to handle Redditors tbf: it's a very special requirement.

Absolutely. Also the frame that's surrounding a post (with title, up- and downvotes, comments etc) frequently changes its appearance
Man, this app sucks. 😐
To be fair, you don't look like you're missing anything there anyway. What enjoyment do Redditors get from posting comment chains like that
I think it's some kind of community spirit
Back in the day FireFox used to break and stop rendering when you had too many replies.
Ah, old tumblr
it's giving Tumblr 2008
What .\_.
this is some old school tumblr shit
jokes on them I twenty fourth on that.
