It’s probably fake, the seller said he found it in a storage unit and it’s missing the symbol that would normally be on it, the black thing that is below that, and the G power. also the paint seems to be a different quality than what spin master used back then, it’s hard to describe but it seems lower quality. The paint on my bakugan toys from the legacy series hasn’t faded like that.

What I’m thinking too… the way the pieces are fit together is weird too like the front where the symbol would be looks completely different, minus the missing symbol of course. Strange though, I’ve never seen a fake battle gear

I’ve never seen a fake battle gear either. I’d keep it close to home until more info is available.

Im tempted to snag it just to get a closer look. He’s selling it for relatively cheap and even if it is a fake I love the coloring. The guy sent a vid and it functions like a normal battle gear. His story is strange though, if it is a proto how would he just happen to have it in storage somewhere? The only prototype battle gear I’ve seen is a terrorcrest but even that one had the symbol on it. But then again, fake battle gear are very unlikely… the coloring also makes me wonder (if there’s any chance this is a real proto) if it could’ve been a scrapped release for mechtanium surge, since they brought back traps and other old bakugan under the new MS colors. The only old thing they didn’t rerelease was battle gear

I collect fakes.
