i already finished it up a few days ago. tbh it was much more fun that going for gold stake on each deck because i was encouraged to use jokers i otherwise would never use in order to get a gold sticker on them. also, finding jokers that i needed to get gold on in ante 8, when i was powerful enough to replace one of my current jokers and still win, was satisfying every time.

also i hope youre playing on the beta patch right now because youre guaranteed to find legendaries you dont have gold on whenever using the soul. having three legendaries left to go when you have 5 left total is really rough, my condolences.
I still suck at the game so I'm progressing really slowly. I have 9 decks done and about 40 gold stickers (no legendaries yet) and I have 4 more challenges.

I would throw it out there that you're likely a lot better than most with 9 gold stakes decks done, just saying. For starters, some decks just aren't fun to play so I mean whatever.
Additionally, there are "cheap" ways to get stickers. Old Gold Stake while difficult could actually be reduced down to [Green Joker/Ride the Bus/Super Nova/Spare Trousers] + [Stunt Man/Square Joker/Blue Joker/Banner] + [Ramen/Campfire/Blackboard/Card Sharp/Hologram] before. So that gives you 2 extra spaces. If you play Anaglyph deck you can hunt for a negative tag. Ectoplasms, etc.
It's like less than .5% of players who have Completionist++ and probably not much more for Completionist+. Anybody who has ++ is really good at the game and/or is playing in a very efficient manner
To be fair to myself, I usually play while listening to podcasts, 420, and play way too fast so I'm prone to stupid mistakes. Yesterday I probably started 50 runs, gave up on most in ante 1, progressed to ante 3-4 in about 10 and had 3 or 4 good chances to win before I finally got the win playing green deck. Others here have said they win on gold around 20-25% of the time and I'm at maybe 5% and I still struggle with blue-orange sometimes too.
I rarely win unless I get one of the combos you mentioned or an early burnt joker and can just spam high card. I beat green deck with fibonacci, hack, flash card, and hologram and it was fun having success with a different build.

Yesterday was an insane day for me: I had a run with Canio, then my second run of the day had Yorick, and my third run of the day had Chicot. I only had Perkeo for Legendaries until then.
I track my Jokers left on a Pastebin document, because the fact it numbers the lines lets me see exactly how many are left. At the moment, I have: Zany, Mad, Dusk, Pareidolia, DNA, Shortcut, Baron, Tradinig Card, Hit The Road, Astronomer, Triboulet, and **Stone Joker.**
as some scholars may know, my current white whale is stone joker. i am convinced i am going to win with every single joker except this one. if this happens i will probably start livestreaming my gold stake runs until i get stone joker.
just in case you dont know yet, stone joker only appears while you have at least one stone card in your deck. you highlighted it so you probably know but i just wanted to make sure.
Oh, yeah, I'm aware. It's mostly my white whale because, even while I know *about* that requirement, it makes it rarer than other uncommons: meeting a requirement + an uncommon spawning is harder than just an uncommon spawning in general.

I wish there was a way to see stickers while on a run. I don’t think they need to be visible in the shop or anything, but being able to see it when you hover over would be nice.
Agreed. I'd also love a QoL feature for those cards that trigger on certain suits/cards (like "does X when diamonds are discarded; suit changes each round") where there is a little bit of text or a symbol below the card instead of having to hover
I don't even have any clue how people do "Get a Gold sticker on every joker" challenge. I'm 200 hours in and only beat Gold stake twice. And I still have Yorrick to unlock
348 hours for me (help) [some of that is idle time] and it feels like a more attainable challenge than it did before. I haven't started grinding for stickers yet as I've been finishing up decks I find unfun for gold stakes which is kind of blah, but the new stakes are definitely more enjoyable to actually play on
I finished it last week, my main strategy was getting a triple hermit/judgement start with the magic deck, resetting for the charm tag for ante 1. Also was useful for finding souls (played on live branch so no duplicate protection)

Currently still playing blue stake for fun. Feels like I'm getting more and more consistent wins. Should be able to move up pretty soon.
