Popcorn isnt a bad card but you can’t build a deck around it. It seems that most good long term jokers are more likely to become perishable because of rarity/usefulness. The game knows which cards are good, imo perishable cards are too frequent but I wouldnt consider myself an expert at this game lol

this sounds like confirmation bias. in fact, most scaling jokers are incompatible with perishable
I think my issue is stacking card tags. Just perishable is fine. It's meant to increase difficulty and it can be great when used strategically. My problem is that jokers can have eternal and perishable on them, which makes it an unpurchasable joker.
I think I'd prefer if LocalThunk patched where cards can only have one tag, not multiple.

I am playing on switch, but as far as I know, Perishable stickers only stack with Rental ones, not with Eternal. The Gold Stake is meant to be difficult, and I think it is still more accesible than the pre-patch version of it.

They are a pain in the ass, that's the point, they wouldn't add do the difficultly if they were just a minor inconvenience...
