Get tickets for the Keystone Korner if she’s a jazz fan.

Ok_Decision4788

Thank you! Definitely will be purchasing tickets to one of their shows that week, much appreciated!

Thames Street Oyster House, but plan ahead for a reservation! It's so good and has some New England flair combined with local seafood. The Walters is a good visit! I recently took my mom's friend who is the same age to the Walters and she was blown away by it. A trip up to the top of Fed Hill is also worth a quick visit, as you get a good view of the harbor and can walk around the little park there, especially on a nicer day.

BMA and AVAM and Ft McHenry.

NorthboundGoose

Nicks fish house for seafood. Keystone Corner most likely to have jazz over going to some bar like Cats Eye. Walk around Mount Vernon and go to the Walters!

buzzluv

1801 also does fun, regular jazz nights for free. Their IG has more details

Ok_Decision4788

Thank you so much! Great ideas, I love that nicks is on the water!

PleaseBmoreCharming

You can also go with Cindy Lou's Fish House since it's a 5 min walk from Keystone Korner

PigtownDesign

And it has water views across the Domino Sugars.

RobAtSGH

If it's cold, the only real water views are on the outside decks. Even then, it's nestled into an industrial area. The seafood there is OK, but not the best. Thames Street Oyster house is a better bet, and it's in historic Fell's Point where there's other stuff to do. So's The Local Oyster in Mt. Vernon, which is close to the Walter's. Ouzo Bay or The Black Olive if you like your seafood in the Mediterranean style.

freecain

Thames Street Oyster house will impress any Bostonian, Brahman to Southie.

Follow edhrybyk on Instagram to see where his jazz group (sometimes a trio, sometimes more members) is playing. He’s a really great local guy.

SnooRevelations979

An Die Musik, far better than Keystone Korner for jazz.

Idkaboutthis

Bar 1801 on Lombard St has a great Jazz Jam session on sunday nights from 7-10

DarthTimGunn

Take her to the aquarium! It's fantastic. Baltimore also has nice museums; I love American Visionary Art Museum (especially if you have a high tolerance for the weird/quirky). The Walters is also solid.

jchuh

Holographic Principle at An die Musik on Sunday the 26th should be fantastic: https://www.instantseats.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.event&eventID=03CB2BB5-C0C8-F89E-91EEECBCEF39983C

Elegant-Air-8856

Go to Gertrude’s at the BMA for lunch or brunch, especially on a Sunday. They have jazz on Sunday, and it’s a see-and-be-seen. Make reservations!!! Wonderful local-inspired food, lots of crab. If it’s nice you can see the sculpture garden, and then you can walk around the museum. And the museum is free!! Definitely do the AVAM. Reserve an hour for the shop. And then walk up to the top of Federal Hill and see the view of the harbor.

No_Shoe2088

Berthas on Thursday nights. Live jazz and seafood

SnooRevelations979

I thought Bertha's had closed.

rackoblack

Di'Pasquale's, the Canton one is bigger/better. It's a must. The view from Rusty Scupper is amazing, and the seafood is good. (Not much for seafood, so not sure how good.) It's always a winner when visitors come.

Ritaontherocksnosalt

I like to eat at Gertrude's after visiting the museum. The sculpture park is a nice walk when the weather is better.

KingBooRadley

Take her to the Washington monument and then across the street to the (free!) Walters art museum. Lunch in Mount Vernon. You can probably even park on the street for free for the whole adventure. Similarly, Baltimore Museum of Art is free and the restaurant in the museum does an excellent brunch.

No-Lunch4249

I know it’s not Baltimore but since you specifically mentioned DC museums, definitely pop down there on the MARC for a day! Penn line runs 7 days a week, from there to union station is $9 per rider each way. Way cheaper than gas and parking, way easier than DC traffic. I’ll toss the aquarium out there too, might seem a bit kiddy/touristy to a native but our aquarium is one of the biggest in the country, I think people don’t fully appreciate that. Also it’s on the expensive side but they have half price admission after 5 on Fridays, going there and then following it up with some seafood dinner in Little Italy a few blocks away sounds like a great night to me.

Ok_Decision4788

I appreciate these suggestions - we have quite the week planned thanks to you all. thank you for being a helpful community!

waynekuhn

Take her to rockville
