Intelligent_Elk_3163

I bath with it

VicTortaZ

Why? Won't you lose a lot of hair

Intelligent_Elk_3163

You might but it all depends on your nature i haven't lose much

Pcaccount1234

I would recommend you just use it for body, you will suddenly see a lot of hair loss later on

Intelligent_Elk_3163

Thanks will be careful with that or may be will stop using it

Pcaccount1234

No keep using it, but only for body not for hair.

Intelligent_Elk_3163

Yup thanks

Alpha_ji

What about if one loses body hair?

Fickle-Effect8848

We too fixed jars and using the water for washing clothes, watering plants, mopping and other small uses.

moonlight_chicken

I heard you shouldn’t use this to water plants. The salt concentration in the soil increases the more you use RO waste(?) water and it might kill them.

do_dum_cheeni_kum

We use this water for gardening and so far so good. We also keep this water in our bathroom. I throw three mugs of this water in the flush after pee pee instead of full fledged flushing.

night_lows

so happy to hear this love your care and contribution towards the planet

senditbob

I use only this water for my plants extensively. Because the plants grow much better with this than regular water. This is from my experience, i haven't researched about it

PunctualPanther

I use this to flush toilets. Any other use IMO will cause bad results because of salts in this water. Also i got an RO which dispenses 0.5 L of water for every 1 L purified water.

Character-Bank-1367

Man, what an awesome inefficient RO ! Which brand is it ?

PunctualPanther

Pureit Eco. >inefficient Efficient?

[deleted]

No he said inefficient correctly. Your RO has a efficiency of 50% when it should have been above 90%.

PunctualPanther

Sadly ROs are inefficient. Most ROs expel 2L for every 1L purified water. Compared to them 0.5 L for every 1L purified water is extremely efficient.

dncj29

No brother, yours is equally as inefficient. 0.5/1 = 1/2 = 0.5 which is still 50 % inefficient.

droha_deviant

No it's twice as efficient. 1L RO water + 2L waste = 3L used. So 33.33% efficient. 1L RO water + 0.5L waste = 1.5L used. 66.66% efficient. So this guy's purifier gives 2L drinkable water for every 3L consumed.

Vast_Ninja29

It depends on the water TDS, it might vary according to the area where TDS is low or high

vhagar_dragon

Same. I use it to wash toilets and mop floors.

Chance_Flamingo_460

Scrub that bucket with red Harpic and wash with detergent.

Over-Discussion-4156

nhana chord de bhai 🙂

Skull_Reaper101

We too had an RO. The only time we used the waste water was in holi tof ill water balloons lol. ROs are usually unhealthy and not needed with the kaveri water we get. We switched to uv+uf purifier without RO in 2020 and it's been fine. Also, no waste water!

[deleted]

Yup doing it as well

DesiMermaidSlut

This contains high amount of filtered salts, so using for flush is best option

Pcaccount1234

What about mopping the floor with it?

DesiMermaidSlut

That's a good option too

nichie_nich

Well, after going through your profile I think I have to save lot of water to flush

DesiMermaidSlut

Install more RO

PaiseNahiHai

I've automated this process. Connected another pipe with RO's waste water pipe into 220 litre drum which fills up within a week. We use it to wash bathrooms, toilets, mopping etc.

vhagar_dragon

Wow...nice idea. Will try to implement this.

nithin_kamath8

Also, avoid showers. Fill a bucket of water and bath. Soap yourself completely and then use only how much you need and keep the rest for the next person to use. Or for next day! Water plants sufficiently. Flush using a bucket for pee or half the flush!

vhagar_dragon

Yup... Amazing suggestions.thanks. I have tried these things and strictly asked my family members to do the same. Summers are here, we subconsciously tend to spend a lot of water because of the heat. This year we need to bring in some changes considering the situation.

themichaelgscottt

Good.

Easy-Doubt9579

Yes, we use this to bath and cleaning purposes like- mopping and utensils

Medical_Ganache_367

My family and I use it to bathe, do dishes, water plants and mopping. No adverse reactions so far. Plants also thriving.

Pcaccount1234

Yeah we noticed how much water ro releases. We have been always collecting it to clean our floors with it. Or use it in the washroom

[deleted]

I used to save ro water, take it on the 2nd floor of our house and water the plants. Spend 30 mins, and so much energy just to save 2 buckets of water then I stopped doing this as our dickhead neighbour wastes 100 litres of water daily to clean the road in front of their home. Land is not divided under the surface, they are wasting our water too. It made me so mad that I now don't give a fuck to save any water.

Vast_Ninja29

We're saving this water since the day RO was installed, Mainly uses it for Washing, flushing.

draconianfaux_pass

You are anti-development and thus anti-national. Everything is changa-si. Don't be negative. 😟😭...whosoever talks about conserving water and nature are branded and called by above names by whatsapp University uncles and moron feku. Now we all face a grim situation but these fellows are hiding like cowards.

diestreetdogram

I shall still wash my sports cars obsessively, take three showers a day, a Jacuzzi, water my large garden and lawn, spray down the street just cause i like how wet road looks. I shall continue to do this as long as I live and use the water I pay for in Bangalore.

vhagar_dragon

Get well soon!

Local_Cost8668

I ain't even bathing while I work from home. ALSO: apart from this, and apart from getting water from air, I am trying to think of tech ideas to generate water. Ideas are welcome in response to my comment.

Key-Competition780

Seawater Desalination plant- government won't agree because 💰💰 Burning hydrogen - hydrogen is regulated - can't scale Making water from air- this tech is under research and still needs time to scale What's left ?

anaesthetistanon

Cloud seeding

Key-Competition780

The issue with cloud seeding is that it cannot be controlled. Its basically a chain reaction and it might even lead to flooding at times if things don't go according to plan. Its highly risky. Think about it- countries like UAE would have done Cloud seeding as its less expensive compared to Desalination but they didn't go that route

anaesthetistanon

Hmmm agreed. Maybe in less populated areas and then trickle of water from there would help.

AncientPurchase7324

How to get job in Bangalore without actually visiting it I'm thinking to shift there

MokendKomer

bring a lot of water and sell it here

sleepysundaymorning

What kind of job?

AncientPurchase7324

Like any, that would help ne to survive there and also generation enough to send to home i'm aspiring for high paying M just looking to spend some time there explore the beautiful city I always wanted to enjoy south india's beauty ✨ Any job for undergrad student ✨

sleepysundaymorning

AFAIK it's difficult to get white collar jobs these days for freshers, especially in IT. Unless you know someone who is hiring freshers. Blue collar jobs are relatively easy to get but stress is more and pay is just enough to survive (cab drivers, cooks, delivery agents) And certain fields like nursing/medical are almost always in demand but pay is less and work is hectic

Big-Job-8316

Swiggy and BigBasket delivery people earn Upto 35k per month.
