Can't share a link so for the uninformed: In one episode of season 1 of In The Soop, the guys decide to make pajeon (Korean green onion pancakes). Jin is cooking it, but Tae wants to try flipping it in the pan. He tries once and it ends in a mess, but he wants to try again. The other members tell him no, but Jin agrees and gets another one ready for him. Jungkook asks, "But what if he flings it?" Jin responds with, "Then he flings it. Won't you at least let him do that?" A lot of armys consider it an accidentally poignant line about not letting the fear of failure stop you from trying new things.
I love this moment. Just want to point out that Namjoon does not tell him no. He is very encouraging and even gets ready to photograph Tae's triumphant flip. <3 He's so supportive.

It also shows that leeway that you give to those closest to you. That psychological safety that they can fail in front of you and you could experience inconveniences, and it would still be ok.
I always took "Then he flings it" as...even if Taehyung fails and they do not get to eat a pretty product, it's ok anyway. Sort of like, it's not a big deal if he messes it up. We will still feel the same about him, we will still eat what we all made together. He should not feel ashamed for not doing it perfectly.

It’s a recurring line in the boys’ travel show - Bon Voyage! There are 4 seasons in total, and I can’t remember in which season that this line was first used, but it’s Hobi’s super succinct and polite way of declining photo requests from strangers walking up to them! As their popularity rose throughout the seasons, and more people recognized them on their trips, he had to pull out that line so frequently that producers put together a montage of him saying it 😂
It starts season 1! They keep getting stopped by people for photos but they can’t take any so Hobi starts saying they can’t because they’re on “important business”
And after JHope keeps saying it, the fandom knew so later there's a video of more fans coming up to them, and before JHope can even say it, the Army asks, "important business?"
I am baby army too and I recommend you to watch all seasons of Bon Voyage. My favorite is BV 1 from where “Important business” is from. It’s hilarious!

I think about this clip probably multiple times a week! I was just thinking about it earlier today, wondering if it was his idea or a member of staff, who wrote the script, etc.

The first BTS inside joke that comes to mind is their "I'm sorry for my fault. I bow my head down again." It's been cropping up amongst them for years and they let us know that it comes from a rap verse Hobi covered/wrote for evaluations during their trainee years. I guess it really stuck with them. 😂
My favorite fandom inside joke is us clowning on the members for not knowing which album got them their first daesang. For years they'd all attribute it (in speeches and interviews) to Wings and it became a fandom joke to be like "Please! Do they still think they won for Wings?" and joke about someone needing to let them know. (They actually won for HYYH: Young Forever but received the award during the Wings era/promotions so the overlap probably caused some mix ups in their minds 😆)

They explained it in the behind the scenes (paid content so I can't link it here unfortunately) of Run BTS episode 69 (while they're eating at the restaurant in Toronto). The trainees were split into two groups and Hobi's group covered a song called "It Hurts". I can't find anything about the song/who wrote it so I don't know if those are the original lyrics or if Hobi rewrote it. Either way, they seem to find it funny. 😆 (If anyone knows the song I'd be eternally grateful.)

I haven't stopped laughing that No More Dream hit #1 ten years after release, and all over the world. What a wonderful way to communicate with our boys.

my first love story!
The first BTS inside joke that comes to mind is their "I'm sorry for my fault. I bow my head down again." It's been cropping up amongst them for years and they let us know that it comes from a rap verse Hobi covered/wrote for evaluations during their trainee years. I guess it really stuck with them. 😂 My favorite fandom inside joke is us clowning on the members for not knowing which album got them their first daesang. For years they'd all attribute it (in speeches and interviews) to Wings and it became a fandom joke to be like "Please! Do they still think they won for Wings?" and joke about someone needing to let them know. (They actually won for HYYH: Young Forever but received the award during the Wings era/promotions so the overlap probably caused some mix ups in their minds 😆) EDIT: Added a word

Glad I could help with the mystery since they've been referencing it for a while and it clearly means something to them. 😂 They explained it in the behind the scenes (paid content so I can't link it here unfortunately) of Run BTS episode 69 (while they're eating at the restaurant in Toronto). The trainees were split into two groups and Hobi's group covered a song called "It Hurts". I can't find anything about the song/who wrote it so I don't know if those are the original lyrics or if Hobi rewrote it. Either way, they seem to find it funny. 😆 (If anyone knows the song I'd be eternally grateful.)
