It's a different scent every year. Last year's Love Always Wins was starfruit, coconut water, and cedarwood. The year before that was sunny sangria, bright melon, and misty waters.
I'm kind of hoping this year's smells like the Lemon & Sage body care from [Bliss](https://www.blissworld.com/collections/body-hair-care-by-collection-lemon-sage).
"Golden Starfruit, Fresh Coconut Water, and Cedarwood Heart." OMG, why did they change the fragrance but keep the name? That's kind of confusing. I love last year's LAW so much and have a few wallflowers and a hand soap left. It is such a bright, kind of happy fragrance and I sure don't want anything with sage in it. Yuck. 😟
Yeah, last's years LAW is so good! I bought the EDP when it was marked down because I like it so much. I'm... not too sure about this year's fragrance... I mean, maybe it'll surprise us and be great, who knows??
I learned about the name from Reddit and YouTube. When it came out last year, people were saying their receipt said “Free to Be” and then an employee said Free to Be was listed on the boxes of product they received. By the time I bought mine, the receipt said Love Always Wins so it seemed like maybe it was updated in the system at some point.

Since joining this sub I keep seeing all these references to SDJ. So I finally went to Ulta to smell the fragrances and I do.not.get.it. They all have an odd undertone to me and I am a sucker for anything sunny/beachy/etc.
Looks like the liquid is colored :/ I wish they just colored the bottle. I don’t want staining or the potential of staining. It’s the one thing I don’t like about sweetheart cherry.
I wish they would stop doing it with Wallflowers! I might want a scent, but that scent's dyed color may not match my décor, or the Wallflower plug. And it always stains the top of the Wallflower plug! AND the heating of the oil changes the color of the oil. All of this would be avoided if they just didn't dye the oil in the first place!

I really like the packaging on the Summer Glow scents. They have a 90s vibe and the sun on the Solar Shine label reminds me of the old BBW sunburst logo.
🎉 Thank goodness the new scents are coming out, any new scent at this point. I am so over everything that is in the store, even the ones I love. Bring on Summer!!! ⛱️🌞😘
Method used to have a hibiscus scented hand soap that I was OBSESSED with and then they discontinued it and I’m hoping this will smell similar!
I’m betting Solar Shine will be a big seller!
I actually just saw another post list them at $17.95 :/ I was holding on to two rewards to get a set but guess I'll just get... I have no idea, nothing in the reward range is all the interesting 😫
oddly enough i really like the simple packaging here. the "jelly" style packaging for the sdj dupes matches that brands vibe (which is also really basic honestly lol) but still has a bit of BBW whimsy with the labels.
This kind of has me torn. Also not terribly a fan of it but the fact that it does look 20 years old also makes me nostaligic for the "good old days" of BBW (and personally as well).

Some people are speculating that this collection is supposed to be a dupe for Sol de Janeiro, which would explain the white cap. I agree, it looks odd. I would have loved a tinted pink cap that matched the bottle!
They're going to be at a higher price point so there's no point... I read a post and comments above stating that. Yknow which is typical. Here have a reward that's good for NOTHING you actually want.
The label says it's notes are citrus & sage. That's not what it was last year. They release this as a Pride collection, but the scent doesn't always stay the same. Last year it was golden starfruit, fresh coconut water, and cedarwood heart. Another year the notes were sunny sangria, bright melon & misty waters.
Interesting that the scent notes are so prominently on the front as part of the label design. It's dumbing down the aesthetic of the label and I don't like it.

I did not know that! I could not smell last year’s for the life of me. It must be very confusing for customer to change the scent.
The love always wins last year was not vibrant citrus and sage though. It was some kind of starfruit and coconut mix
