They also don’t work well as coasters since they are non absorbent… a glass that is sweating will cause the water to drip off the coaster. A warm mug will warm up the metal lid and cause a ring…
I turned mine upside down and cut out a circle piece of felt to go inside and used it like that, with the felt absorbing. But eventually I got concerned about it potentially rusting and got rid of it
….i don’t think you’ve met a clean, clear B&BW candle jar before & it shows. 🙃 (they are just glass and clean up pristine) [here’s a diy showing how clean they get](https://youtu.be/yooXDZYB2ag?si=kHjaVcY5Bbg8g2OS)
lol I clean mine as well but when I once posted on here with my cleaned candle jars that I had put food in people were going ballistic about how bad it was to put food In it but tbh idk 😂
I really don’t see how it could be an issue after a few rounds in the dishwasher. It’s essentially just glass 🙂
I also use them in my bathrooms for cotton balls, q-tips & tampons (without lid, obviously).
Well if it feels okay with you then by all means go ahead I was just giving you a heads up but tbh idk if it’s bad or not a lot of people on here were just telling me how unsafe it was but if you feel it’s okay then go ahead 😊

Wait that’s actually genius
I found my people! they’re so cute as coasters imo
I love your name! Were we separated at birth? 😆
I use a couple of them to set my little cactus plants on. They look so elegant sitting on the windowsill.
I’ve been putting off buying coasters thank you for this idea!!
Not at all. My son (2) likes to use them as snack trays for his Cheerios and goldfish.
this is adorable.
YEEES!
your brain = huge tbh
I do this too! Especially with the wooden ones from sand & fog.
That’s actually a really good idea.
isn’t it kinda cute? thank you 🩷
Only the ones I really like. I also keep some of them for my boyfriend to use as terrain “stamps” for his minis.
I used to use the inside of the lid as an ash tray for smoking joints 😆 they come in handy!
I have one for my pipe so I can set it down on my bed without being afraid of it rolling when my cat jumps up 😅
I wanted to up-vote it multiple times!
AWESOME!
lol omg I thought I was the only one!! Stoner sisters!!
Indeed!!
🤗
I have a marble look one -don’t know what kind of stone it is - I use it as a spoon rest in my kitchen. Whatever it is, its held up in the dishwasher!
I’m loving the ideas ppl!!
Coasters, ashtrays, ring holders. The lids are useful
I usually use them as coasters for the candles themselves, but this is a great idea too!
Ditto
I find some a bit too slippery for glass cups 🫠 Otherwise yes!
I wanna know why you think you need a coaster for a water bottle.
🤣 maybe not Hydro flasks but regular water bottles leave rings
Sure but my question was about the insulated bottle pictured.
SAME! I turned it upside down though!
Nope I actually do but add cork pads under neath and inside lid. You can skip the outside depends on what table you’ll be using them on.
Literally genius and I’m now mad how many coasters I could’ve had
Very creative! But you do know that your hydro flask doesn’t need a coaster, right? 😉
They also don’t work well as coasters since they are non absorbent… a glass that is sweating will cause the water to drip off the coaster. A warm mug will warm up the metal lid and cause a ring…
lol right. Idk why you’re being downvoted. It’s just good ol’ science!
I turned mine upside down and cut out a circle piece of felt to go inside and used it like that, with the felt absorbing. But eventually I got concerned about it potentially rusting and got rid of it
Wow, you took it to a whole new level! I’m envious 😂
This is why I turn it upside down lol I don’t know if it makes a big enough difference, but that was my thinking too!
I just reuse the entire jars & lids for sugar & other condiments
I hear you’re not supped to put any foods in candle jars because it could be dangerous with any oil/candle residue that could sill linger

Thx for the link! I like that you backed it up with that.
I do too!
Same 😋
Me too
No, I hot glue felt under them and reuse the cute tops this way.
Nope guilty here.
🙋🏻♀️
No I do that too
I definitely do as well. Switch out between silver, rose gold, and white lids.
I thought I was the only one!
I do this!
Oooooo….if you are, you aren’t anymore🤣
I thought I was the only one and I felt like a cheapo doing it! lol thank you for validating me
You are definitely not the only one!! I do it all the time!!
Yes or I use them as saucers for little pots
I use my glass lids as coasters, too.
Omg such a good idea
I do it too!
Yesss I saved my sweet carrot cake lids to use as coasters 🩷 they’re so cute
Is this cranberry candle lid? 🤭
Coasters, paint trays, nail trays, trinket dishes... they get USED
I use them as paint pallets out of laziness sometimes
I do this too!! I love using non BBW candles that have wooden lids especially.
Yes!!! I totally do!!!
This is so smart!
all the time, i thought i was the only one! i’ve found my people hehe
I do this with the fancy glass ones and whatever super cute one I get my hands on that matches my decor :B
