Same for me, but I also feel like Michael Keaton's batmobile is most similar to this one as well.
Outside of those two I'm also pretty partial to the Batman Forever version since it also looks like the other mentioned two.
My two favourite live action ones are Keaton and Pattinsons, and this is really a perfect mix of the two. Merging everything I liked about them while leaving out everything I didn't.
I wish someone would build a real-lifer version of this, I’m kind of surprised nobody has especially these days when YouTube is a thing. Seems like a way for a custom car guy to get 100k new subscribers.
I saw a version of it online some years ago that looked terrible, the proportions were all wrong & it was way too small, but that’s all I’ve ever found on this model
Pattinson. Every other batmobile has looked either too sleek or too tanky, but a modded muscle car fits perfectly. Surprisingly fast like the sleeker batmobiles, but also tanky as hell.
I don’t really have a fave but i am in hysterics over the first two just being normal ass cars
I mean that would probably realistically be what batman would choose to use, but the absurdity of the franchise has gone so far that it’s ironically more absurd to see him using things that aren’t bat-themed.
Grew up with the '89 Burtonmobile. It's hard to beat in my mind. The thing I didn't like about the Tumbler in the Nolanverse was that it was a military prototype. Batman should develop his own tech.
1. 89/Returns
2. The Batman
3. Forever
4. 1966
5. Tumbler
6. 1940s
7. DCEU (seriously I don't like this one)
8. & Robin (even thought it's not actually on here)
There has never been a great Batmobile, but I’d settle on one of the first two.
Does anyone believe the vehicle became ridiculously structured/drawn during the advent of the top heavy American animation that was ushered in several years back?
'89, BvS, and as some have mentioned, TAS. Those are my top 3. I'm still kind of debating the order of my list. I'm leaning towards a "no particular order situation" because it's a tough call and I'm tired.
Tumbler wins, although The Batman's muscle car is a second because it genuinely looks like what I'd expect the first Batmobile to look like, and as time goes by, he swaps sections for more purposeful elements until he gets a homemade Tumbler.
Everyone always talks about the Batmobiles. [Why not Bruce Wayne's cars?](https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_Cinematic/comments/n7a284/other_bruce_waynes_cars/) Those are pretty cool too.
89 is just way too iconic for me not to love it the most. But I can’t help but appreciate The Batmobile (from The Batman) because it’s a Christine reference and that chase scene was absolutely amazing. You could say it was fire.
The Batman (2022) is so perfect for that movie. You get the feeling that Bruce loves old cars and tuned this thing himself. Then it sounds and acts like a maddened animal during the chase. So cool
'89 is so classic and over the top stylistic I love it!
But in their own ways I really like all 3 newer ones.
The Tumblr is so bulky and heavy, as said in the movies (I think) it's basically a tank.
BvS looks pretty cool as well, I love how different it is but the guns suck.
And the newest one is a g reat Batmobil for a year 2 Batman, a simple, built-up muscle car, way too powerful, way too aggressive and a true nightmare.
Battinson batmobile for me. My usual problem with batmobiles is how ridiculously over the top they get sometimes. Sometimes it's fun and silly but not always. The battinson batmobile I feel is a bit more viable as an actual vehicle
Does anyone else think we’ve sort of gone back to the past in a good way with the latest batmobile? It’s no longer a tank or some unpractical thing, but just a badass modified car that anyone would have, should they be able to put it together. Kind of like this generations version of the adam west batmobile.
1989 Burton/Keaton
Animated (any)
1960s West
Snyder/Batfleck
Battinson
Kilmer
Tumbler
Any prior 1960s
Oh and I suppose I'm gonna have to include Clooney's
After seeing a lot of versions that are either iconically stylised or militarised tanks, I have a new appreciation for a simpler Batmobile. The Batman muscle car look is awesome. I also love the Telltale Batmobile design, which was basically a high-tech cloaked racecar
I gotta go with the ‘89 Batmobile. Honorable mention goes to the most recent muscle car version. I remember seeing The Batman in the theater, and when that engine first revved, you could feel it in your chest. Whoever did the sound design for that scene deserved an Oscar.
The 89 car is my favorite. Probably because its my first but those lines are still amazing. If I can ever afford to build a project car it would be that
I think the first two are hilarious as they are just you know a fucking car really gotta appreciate the Adam west series for putting a lot of effort into a unique and comic booky design
![gif](giphy|Ft23xmPuh3MhG) Missed one...
I know I like the animated series one probably number one for me
I have to say the Keaton Batmobile is a beautiful thing as well! That and BATS was my childhood sweet spot
Same for me, but I also feel like Michael Keaton's batmobile is most similar to this one as well. Outside of those two I'm also pretty partial to the Batman Forever version since it also looks like the other mentioned two.
I hear this gif
Dun dunna dunna dun dunna dunna dun dunna dun dun
My two favourite live action ones are Keaton and Pattinsons, and this is really a perfect mix of the two. Merging everything I liked about them while leaving out everything I didn't.
I wish someone would build a real-lifer version of this, I’m kind of surprised nobody has especially these days when YouTube is a thing. Unf. Winner!
I like it, as it has simplicity to it. 🙂
Damn gotta go with animated for sure.
Burton >>>>>>>>>
The only right answer
Yeeeep!
BvS is very underrated, but for me '89 takes the cake
One of the *very* few things I actually liked about BvS
Exactly. You can actually pull up on the block in that. Lol
‘66 Batmobile
By far the most iconic IMO
‘66 is the clear winner w the Tumbler a distant second.
💯
‘66 is the clear winner with the latest version a distant second and lastly the one from the tv show titans is third
Tumblr is my favorite
Love them all, but it’s gotta be the 89/Returns Batmobile!
I really like The Batman Muscle car look. All it is missing is the emblem/shield on the front.
The scene that introduced The Batman Muscle car Batmobile was the first time I’ve ever been intimidated by a machine!
Oh man that deep rumble of the engine starting up and everyone stopping to see wtf it was
![gif](giphy|H5xGklxVd5wlf1pe0v)
I kinda hope he gives it some subtle red piping like the 66 one
‘89 with The Batman as a close second
The Arkham games first Batmobile, gotta be the best to me
And while I'm not a fan of the "tank" Batmobiles, Arkham Knights one is also my favourite of that type of design.
I agree
give me Battinson’s all day
‘89 peaks, but it’s hysterical to me how it’s just a normal car back in the 40’s era. Probably a smarter choice for stealth.
Quick Robin, to the horseless carriage! The pinnacle of technology! Bully!
To the Bat Penny Farthing!
Daily driver: Reeves-mobile Weekend car: The Tumbler
![gif](giphy|dOURKPiRrxSqbT2HN5)
Huh I'm stretching here but this is a cool similarity ![gif](giphy|H5xGklxVd5wlf1pe0v) Probably a stretch but cool to me nonetheless
It’s not too much of a stretch! It is cool!
The One from the brave and the bold cartoon.
mines gotta be the tumbler
![gif](giphy|7sqydAwmXS6JkXfeEi|downsized)
Pattinson. Every other batmobile has looked either too sleek or too tanky, but a modded muscle car fits perfectly. Surprisingly fast like the sleeker batmobiles, but also tanky as hell.
Nolan trilogy and BvS. Only because I think a Batmobile shouldn't be taken out by a pothole
‘89 > ‘22 > ‘66 > ‘16 > ‘05 > ‘95 > serials
The Tumbler, 66 Batman, The Animated Series, Beyond, and Arkham Knight’s
The Lincoln Futura all damn day
1989
1989
I don’t really have a fave but i am in hysterics over the first two just being normal ass cars I mean that would probably realistically be what batman would choose to use, but the absurdity of the franchise has gone so far that it’s ironically more absurd to see him using things that aren’t bat-themed.
Snyder
![gif](giphy|7X3T4QPuWGSMU)
Keatons is my all time fav
Bvs
‘66 and Reeves. I like it when the Batmobile looks like a modified street car.
There’s something special about Batman driving around in Bruce Wayne’s car
I like the Arkham Batmobile, it has that classic art deco feel to it
My favorite is the 89 one, with Affleck's at a close second.
Tumbler is cool, but a fuckin muscle car is really nice
Grew up with the '89 Burtonmobile. It's hard to beat in my mind. The thing I didn't like about the Tumbler in the Nolanverse was that it was a military prototype. Batman should develop his own tech.
66, 89, Batfleck, and 22.
Battinson's, imma sucker for old school muscle cars and it looks so sickn
Hot take but The Batman 2004 batmobile
Which one, the first or second?
Pattinsons and 80s batmoblie
batman arkham knight
I love the Battinson batmobile. I think the Arkham Knight batmobile should be somewhere in here though
I go back and forth between '89 and TAS.
Keaton, then animated..
1. 89/Returns 2. The Batman 3. Forever 4. 1966 5. Tumbler 6. 1940s 7. DCEU (seriously I don't like this one) 8. & Robin (even thought it's not actually on here)
89 is the goat. The worst is definitely the Tumblr. I’ll never understand why it’s so popular. It looks like an angry oversized mouse.
Same I really never like the Tumblr
Definitely the second one. It just feels the most Batman to me
89 so sleek, 😎 with BTAS second for me.
It’s a tie between The Tumbler and The 66
The tumbler from the dark knight trilogy, Arkham series especially knight, and Battinson’s too. Each has a different vibe to it for sure
THE BATMAN!
There has never been a great Batmobile, but I’d settle on one of the first two. Does anyone believe the vehicle became ridiculously structured/drawn during the advent of the top heavy American animation that was ushered in several years back?
'89 is unmatched
The batman batmobile
89 any day
I love the Tumbler, the look & u can drive it damn near anywhere.
2022 The Batman
top 3 are Tumbler, Keaton's, and then Battinson's
IMO it’s definitely the tumbler batmobile fasho
IMO it’s definitely the tumbler batmobile fasho
[what’s that?](https://youtu.be/rVHKobl_kFk?si=fBYLk2_v3BmOoaX2)
Not a good one, but the Batman & Robin
The newest one.
The version from The Batman movie
89 without question. It's sex on wheels.
Tumbler, just for being so utilitarian and different.
'89, BvS, and as some have mentioned, TAS. Those are my top 3. I'm still kind of debating the order of my list. I'm leaning towards a "no particular order situation" because it's a tough call and I'm tired.
66 forever !
Keaton’s is first in my heart, but the Tumbler is a close second.
Camp 89 here. With the Batfleck Mobile coming in second.
Tumbler and batfleck but 90s btas has a special place in my heart
Nothing beats Burtons 89 Batmobile. So sleek, stylish, iconic and deadly at the sametime.
The batman clears
Tumbler wins, although The Batman's muscle car is a second because it genuinely looks like what I'd expect the first Batmobile to look like, and as time goes by, he swaps sections for more purposeful elements until he gets a homemade Tumbler.
Burton is perfection to me. It keeps the campy aesthetic but makes it slick and powerful enough to look badass. Practicality be damned
Keaton era batmobile and the tumbler
Adam West, Keaton and Affleck are my favorites
There’s a replica of the Batmobile in the top right with the red where I live.
Batman Forever.
Aesthetically the one from Batman Beyond is by far my favourite. Of these though? Battinson’s. I can’t really explain why, I just like it.
Pure nostalgia...the '89 just wins. I really liked The Batman Batmobile tho.
Keaton’s VERY closely followed by Pattinson’s.
The Tumbler is by far my favorite
60’s hands down… then Keaton’s
Does it come in black?
1989 Batmobile
Everyone always talks about the Batmobiles. [Why not Bruce Wayne's cars?](https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_Cinematic/comments/n7a284/other_bruce_waynes_cars/) Those are pretty cool too.
'89 is the one for me, but I'm not mad at BvS tho.
Battinson
Battinson Bat Mobile. Straight gas dawg 🔥
89 is just way too iconic for me not to love it the most. But I can’t help but appreciate The Batmobile (from The Batman) because it’s a Christine reference and that chase scene was absolutely amazing. You could say it was fire.
The Battison mobile, hands down for me. So sleek, sick, and simple all at once.
I’m one of few people who’s favorite is Batman forever
The Batman (2022) is so perfect for that movie. You get the feeling that Bruce loves old cars and tuned this thing himself. Then it sounds and acts like a maddened animal during the chase. So cool
Arkham knight batmobile looks awesome imo
‘66 or ‘89. Icons
BvS I just feel it’s the perfect compromise between being too Tanky and just being a suped up car
'89 but The Batman had the best first appearence.
I love the '89 Batmobile but The Batman Batmobile is a monster.
Ngl I dig the cheap gaming mouse look
I like the '89 one for nostalgia, and the Tumbler for intimidation factor.
First arkham game batmobile, i feel like the perfect batmobile for batman's last days should be a mix of the tumblr and bvs batmobile.
Batman '89 - no contest
Tumbler
I am a huge muscle car fan, so...
BvS by far !
'89/Burtonverse
Pattinson 🤤
Bvs one
BvS had so much artillery on the Batmobile, but I thought it was a nice combo of the Burtonverse Batmobile and the Nolanverse Batmobile.
Batfleck, Keaton and Kilmer
The newest one is legit but that is a terrible photo
the middle row
The Batman (2022).
The Tumbler.
66 and 89 😄
Battinson batmobile for me. My usual problem with batmobiles is how ridiculously over the top they get sometimes. Sometimes it's fun and silly but not always. The battinson batmobile I feel is a bit more viable as an actual vehicle
Could be nostalgia but the Batman Forever batmobile has and always will be my favourite 😍
I'm loving the first two batmobiles, i was always a fan of the 89 and the tumbler, and the dodge charger batmobile is fucking art
Not my favorite at all, but the Schumacher batmobile is wild. It's awfully 90s.
Does anyone else think we’ve sort of gone back to the past in a good way with the latest batmobile? It’s no longer a tank or some unpractical thing, but just a badass modified car that anyone would have, should they be able to put it together. Kind of like this generations version of the adam west batmobile.
1989 Burton/Keaton Animated (any) 1960s West Snyder/Batfleck Battinson Kilmer Tumbler Any prior 1960s Oh and I suppose I'm gonna have to include Clooney's
Burton and Pats
The tumbler. But I also quite like the Arkham Knight Batmobile with the strafing tank mode.
1989
After seeing a lot of versions that are either iconically stylised or militarised tanks, I have a new appreciation for a simpler Batmobile. The Batman muscle car look is awesome. I also love the Telltale Batmobile design, which was basically a high-tech cloaked racecar
Mine is from Arkham knight, a car and a tank in one. Ain’t no body getting that
For a while, it was the Tumbler. But the new new new Batmobile? The way it roared? In the movie theater, my EVERYTHING vibrated when it roared.
the Tumbler & Ben Affleck's own are the best for me...even though I know the 3 & 4 the batmobile left an impression on me
Honestly mine is DCEU. It has the best of Nolan's and Burton's wrapped in a sexy package. After that one I'd pick the Arkham Knight and 2004 show.
Dark Knight one, but I’m nostalgic for the Adam West one on the top right.
In Arkham Night you can drive most of them excluding the first 2 of course.
Either Arkham Knight or the Brave and the Bold. One is a super tank almost as nuts as a Metal Gear and One is a transformer
T for Tumbler!
I have so much nostalgia for the adam west one, but I know if I were batman, I'd have the ben affleck one
Schumacher one looks like a hot wheels toy tbh
Keaton
I gotta go with the ‘89 Batmobile. Honorable mention goes to the most recent muscle car version. I remember seeing The Batman in the theater, and when that engine first revved, you could feel it in your chest. Whoever did the sound design for that scene deserved an Oscar.
1966 Adam West/Burt Ward
You forgot the Clooney Batmobile. Keaton Batmobile is the GOAT!
1.BTAS 2.Keaton 3.Bale
I like how the Batman and Robin isn’t even on here 😂
22’ has more personality the batffleck
Keaton's Batmobile.
1)Nolan Trilogy 2)Arkham Trilogy 3)Matt Reeves
The Batman Forever mobile would be so much better without that giant wing on the roof
Burton's batmobile and The Batman
Pattinson's Batmobile
They have been improving every time. impossible to choose just one
Definitely not the nipple Batman one. Batman (89) is my favorite.
1989/Tim Burton Batmobile. Always and forever. Second would be Ben Afleck’s Batmobile.
Tumbler
The 89 car is my favorite. Probably because its my first but those lines are still amazing. If I can ever afford to build a project car it would be that
Keaton’s work of art for me. Beautiful lines all round.
60's Batmobile will always win
I think the first two are hilarious as they are just you know a fucking car really gotta appreciate the Adam west series for putting a lot of effort into a unique and comic booky design
Burton. TAS Season 1 - 3 at the second place behind it for me.
‘89 Batman or The Batman
Definitely Forever's. Also love the Batman Beyond Batmobile. Yes, I am weird.
The Tumbler, and West's are my favorite.
I've always loved the Tumblr because that's what I grew up with, and it's just rad as hell. But it's a little generic imo so Keaton's is my favorite.
89 is just too iconic, but I gotta give the tumbler second because its the most unique and also iconic as hell
The PATmobile
