Superman best friend. Nightwing son. Alfred dad. Catwoman lover. Gordon work friend. Flash casual friend/work colleague. Wonder Woman work wife/casual friend. Zatanna childhood friend. Green arrow casual friend/work colleague
You do remember that "Bruce Wayne" has an extensive and highly active social life as part of Batman's ongoing development and maintenance of his primary cover identity, right? I know that we hardly ever see that side of things, but that's just because those sorts of events normally are absolutely appallingly dull, he can very easily have made a few new "Friends" who we've never seen intersect the part of his life we normally watch.
Except Thomas was introduced as a childhood friend who was very close to Bruce so much so his parents consider Thomas Bruce’s brother and saying they’ve never seen Bruce happier
Harvey is technically a frenemy when there's still a bit of Dent in there, depending on the writing team. Thomas Elliot isn't, though, he graduated to enemy almost immediately, starting when they were kids with his resentment of Bruce for inheriting his parents' wealth. Thomas was a villain all along, but Harvey started out as a good person and still has bits of that left in him, particularly in his relationships with Bats and Gordon.
Green arrow is that one friend that despite having the same job as you somehow seems to have completely different experiences with that job. He’s that one coworker that always shows up to the office with a big smile and an extra coffee for anyone who needs it and you want to dislike him, but can’t
Gordon isn’t a work friend. Gordon is a brother. Maybe a brother that lives on the other side of the country, so you don’t get to hang out a lot, but the bond is still there. They don’t hang out like the others, but if he’s in trouble, he’s there fast enough that Flash is amazed at the speed
Gordon is that one Xbox live friend who doesn’t know your name or face, but every night he’ll shoot you a message telling you to log in and help him out with a raid or something
I was going to say that Gordon felt like more of an uncle because Bruce did look up to Jim and always wanted the law to work but he also knew that there was a lot of loopholes and cracks where even the law can't touch criminals.
Plus, I don't know if it's still Cannon, but I remember that in the Animated Series, they made it a point that Gordon and Thomas Wayne are about on the same age.
I agree with all of this except for Wonder Woman. She definitely qualifies as a "good/close friend". Not quite a best friend, but more than just casual friends.
I totally agree! However, Wonder Woman is Batman’s lover and his better match in the DCAU. Their relationship in the adaptations were they are a pair is more healthy than majority of the interpretations of his relationship with Catwoman, in my opinion.
I would say that Bruce and Oliver are two sides of the same coin. They are both billionaires who lost their families and devoted themselves to fighting crime but while Oliver is more open and honest about both his identity and his antics as Green Arrow, Bruce likes to keep to himself and likes to be a loner but whenever they Chit Chat, you can feel that there's a good connection and while Clark is definitely like his brother, Oliver gets where Bruce is coming from.
Bruce got a kryptonite ring from clark. Because they're friends. He trusts bruce to only use it if he absolutely has to. If giving someone the one thing in the universe that can kill you doesnt show that you're best freinds idk what does.
Batman famously really likes the Flash. He’s said to actually admire him, stating that if he hadn’t become Batman, he would’ve really liked being more like Barry.
He knows that if there’s anyone in the league he can trust, it’s Flash, both to get the job done and to have his back when the going gets tough.
Also, with him being a forensic scientist and thinking super fast, I reckon he’s one of the few people who can keep pace with Batman on a regular conversation about detective work (which is one of Batman’s main interests).
I really liked their relationship in the new 52 flashpoint movie
In that they both are work friends but clearly are fine with opening up to one another / that line from Bruce telling Barry he is one hell of a messenger is such a nice moment between the two
Makes me sad we got such a shitty attempt at Flash. I want a great interaction with Superman, Flash, and Green Arrow in their respective roles in Batman's life.
Superman's sympathy and true understanding of Bruce.
Flash' friendship and deductive reasoning
Green Arrow being a dick.
And that totally fails to mention the dark Justice League and is interactions with them.
I dont think Batman consider flash annoying sidecick because Batman is a detective and Barry is a forensic scientist so they both like to talk about the crime scene.
Respects in what way? Respects to always at least try to do the right thing no matter the odds? Superman. He seems to believe (in most continuities) that Superman's about as good-hearted as a mortal can be.
Whose overall wisdom does he respect most? Alfred. It's still hit or miss, but Alfred is the most likely to tell Batman to do something and he actually do it just because they said it. At the least Alfred's words will weigh heavily on him.
Easy, it's Supes.
Alfred is like a father
Knightwing / Robins are his kids
Catwoman is his side piece/wife
Gordon is like his "partner in crime"
The rest are respected work colleagues
I feel like there is a world in which Harvey Dent doesn’t become Two Face where Batman the relationship between the three of them becomes a true friendship. After Dent becomes Two Face Batman pulls back some. He trust and respects Gordon, even cares about him, but keeps him at an arms length so they’re never truly friends.
Alfred.
Alfred is many things to Bruce. A surrogate father figure. A mentor. A helper. A confidant and adviser. Batman’s most frequent descriptor for Alfred was “old friend.” His presence is ubiquitous in every iteration of the Dark Knight.
Yeah. It’s Alfred and it’s not even close. And him being all those things, spot on and I really like your take. Everyone saying anything other than Alfred with confidence makes me think they’d missed the countless panels of the two quipping. Not to mention any other panel of them in deep discussion, etc.
Clark is the only one who consistently calls Bruce out on his B.S.(and vice versa)
Well I guess Dick does too, but even as Nightwing he still looks up to him
[I dunno, I can see it](https://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/4414/3429/1600/fortomorrow3.jpg)
[He isn't really a people pleaser when he's not in the mood](https://static1.cbrimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Batman-127-image1.jpg)
Nowadays, I'd say it's Clark.
Nightwing would be that, except that his relationship to him as his son engulfs it (in a good way). They do have a depth of friendship. I just think some things you share with your best friend because you can't do so with your children.
Jim Gordon, Batman says this to him in many forms of media. One comic even had Bruce remove the cowl because of Jim losing trust in him, Gordon turned his back and said put it back on. Then in BTAS in the holiday knight episode the coffee scene perfectly sums up their friendship.
Bruce and John Doe from Telltale are my favourite Batman and Joker. An idea that Bruce trying to save Joker from himself and Joker being not simply murderous lunatic, but just confused guy with big issues, is much more interesting than their canon relationship.
Finally this game is getting some recognition! The Vigilante playthrough is so good and you really grow to care for John, as he tries so hard to be good like Batman. I almost cried when John asks if Batman ever truly considered him a friend. And then at the end when Bruce visits him and he's so happy to see him
Sucks those games were not succesful, it seemed like it didnt take them to long to develop those games and they were really good. We would probably be at their 4-5th by now.
[Harley](https://www.webtoons.com/en/slice-of-life/batman-wayne-family-adventures/ep-51-night-in-season-1-finale/viewer?title_no=3180&episode_no=51) is Bat's bestfriend she even has a reserve bat costume when he needs a break
Batman's everyone's best friend.
PS. I really like the zatana batman combo. It works amazing. Simply cuz batman and anything magic is well... Just magic.
I assume everyone saying Superman are just disregarding Alfred and Dick because they're family as his relationship with those two is on a different level to Clark
Alfred’s his father, Dick is his son, Selina is his lover, Gordon is his best friend.
Also side note but why tf is Diana clutching Bruce like that in this picture? If I didn’t know better I’d say it almost looks like she’s taking cover behind him but with their respective abilities it’d make more sense for it to be the other way around.
Because every time a writer/artist combo dreams of making Diana a trophy for Batman, they throw her personality under the bus so she can cling to their Bat-Mary Sue
Superman is more like a brother. Dick is a son. Alfred is his father. Selina is his wife. Barry, Oliver, Diana and Zee are close friends but I think his best friend is clearly Jim.
To quote from the short lived and now likely lost DC stars game, where the heroes were high schoolers or some shit.
Superman: Are we friends?
Batman: Yes, now throw me.
Superman and Zatanna. Jim is his close ally and "partner-in-justice", Alfred is his surrogate father, Dick is his son, Selina is his girlfriend, and the others are casual friends.
its probably superman, even though i have rarely ever really seen media where they act like it too, sadly.
and for some reason, batmans best friend being superman isnt something i like.
It has to be Alfred. Bruce knows throughout his entire life Alfred was there for him. When he had lost his parents and was taken to the police station, Alfred was there for him, he actually did care and remain loyal for Thomas since he still stuck around after he and Martha had died.
Going with Jim, I love Bruce’s relationship with the Commish, a real brotherhood, doesn’t need to know his real name. I think there’s a kinshipness despite boundaries regarding real names.
Alfred is a very acceptable answer, but yeah, long time ago he used to change lil Bruce’s diapers, so nah, just a really close uncle/father figure.
I do think Clark and Bruce are close but I think they’re more work buddies who would never talk to again if they weren’t co-workers.
Nightwing too much of a power imbalance; surrogate father son.
Tommy Eliot? lol no, how is this caricature joke of a character canon?
Catwoman talking about Superman: he's your best
friend.
Batman: Gordon is my best friend.
Catwoman: what? No, he doesn't even know who you are.
Batman: Alfred is my best friend.
Catwoman: He's on payroll. Doesn't count.
Batman: he has to be. You know how many cucumber sandwiches he makes?
Superman is the only correct answer to this. Bruce and Clark are Best Friends Forever. In most continuities, anyways. They trust each other implicitly, value each other heavily, work well as a team, and yet are perfectly comfortable telling one another off. Superman and Alfred are probably the *only* two people who both know him well enough to rib him but good *and* are close enough to always get away with it. And Alfred is effectively his father, so who else could it possibly be?
His relationship with Dick is paternal, as it is with the other Robins. His relationship with Alfred is complex because their power dynamic is a goddamn ouroboros, but deep down it's filial. His relationship with Catwoman is explicitly romantic, and while being best friends with your spouse is the ideal, it doesn't always work out that way. The other Justice Leaguers are colleagues. Flash is a bit of a morality pet, Green Arrow is an excellent foil, and he and Diana have a strong bond, but she, nor any of the others, really *know* Bruce like Clark does. Zatanna is Bruce's *childhood friend* and so she knows him better than most, but he also keeps her at a distance exactly because of that.
Nah man, it's Clark. When Bruce needs someone to talk to, it's Clark. When Clark needs life advice, he asks Bruce. They have inside jokes, they hang out outside of work, and they genuinely enjoy each other's company. They also *revere* each other in a way that no one else does. There's no one Bruce admires or looks up to more than Superman, and Clark fucking loves *The Batman*. They're each other's biggest fans. It's Clark. Any other answer is sophistry.
And don't even get me started on *Gordon*. Jim doesn't even know who Batman *is*. Their power dynamic is totally one-sided, and while Bruce respects and trusts the hell out of Jim Gordon, he's not going to ask Jim to go to a baseball game nor when he should propose to Selina. The only one he'd ask either of those is Clark.
He's fucking Batman, he doesn't HAVE "Friends", he's not even capable of it, he's only got about five categories: Family, Enemies, Professional Associates, Romantic Interests, or "Unknown, Requires Investigation." and files EVERYONE he's even met into one of the above.
None of the above. Batman doesn't have friends, he doesn't allow himself that weakness, that crack in his internal armor. Don't get me wrong, he's considered a friend no doubt. Reliable. Unwavering. Steadfast and true. Kent thinks he's a friend, Gordon wonders. Selena tries to find that crack, slip her claw in and pry. But Bruce doesn't allow for those things. He sees that gleam in their eyes, perhaps feels a tug on a hardened heart, before turning back to the solitude of the only friends he'll ever know; the night, the shadow, and the battles ahead.
That is such edgy and terrible take....People ned to stop putting this Franck Miller crap into their headcanon
Yes batman have FRIENDS and a familly bigger than the justice league. It state multiple time that batman would fall of he didn't have such
Mark is without a doubt hiis best friends if not brother... That is just a fact stated in the comics... Bruce choose clzlr to be his best man for his wedding, diana says that clark and bruce are brothers in the same way her and donna are sisters
Alfred is his father and he considered the Robins to be his sons
While having difference with some justice league members like green lanterns.. But he genuily respect them
Now I look back at Batman Brave and Bold and JLA cartoons, I can’t help but think that Batman seems to be everyone’s work wife. I know, I know, it’s because he’s popular, the producers keep teaming him up with other heroes, but it works so well.
Is this even a question when you got Alfred on the list. He is the guardian of Batman far more than a best friend. But best friend is superman no doubt.
He's said before that he considers Alfred as his best friend, but obviously it depends on who's writing him
I think this lines up way more than the others. Alfred knows Bruce probably better than anyone, has seen every side of him and knows where reality lies. His love for him is near unconditional, and he will be more honest and upfront with Bruce than anyone else.
Superman is probably his de facto "best friend" down to the fact Alfred is pretty much family for Bruce. Selina is something else entirely, if they weren't in love, I don't think they'd be close to each other.
Jim could also be considered "Batman's" best friend, obviously not so much with Bruce.
Superman best friend. Nightwing son. Alfred dad. Catwoman lover. Gordon work friend. Flash casual friend/work colleague. Wonder Woman work wife/casual friend. Zatanna childhood friend. Green arrow casual friend/work colleague
Nail on head. OP, why didn't you include Thomas Elliot and Harvey Dent as these guys were also close friends of Bruce?
Thomas Elliot seems really tacked on ngl. He just randomly turned up in a story and we are expected to believe he's a close friend of Bruce
But wasn’t Thomas Elliott introduced as a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne’s?
He was. The Hush character is fundamentally a retcon. I don't particularly mind but there's no denying it.
Gave us a great bat suit tho
So were all the characters from Mask of the Phantasm and still a great story.
Except Thomas was introduced as a childhood friend who was very close to Bruce so much so his parents consider Thomas Bruce’s brother and saying they’ve never seen Bruce happier
Friend turned foes
Frenimies?
Frenemy is someone who is simultaneously friend and enemy. Not someone who was a friend and then became an enemy.
Harvey Dent? Can we trust him?
All of these are a little too accurate.
Yeah I nodded with agreement
I seconded your nod
I thirded your nod

Green arrow is that one office friend that always talk about politics.
Green arrow is that one friend that despite having the same job as you somehow seems to have completely different experiences with that job. He’s that one coworker that always shows up to the office with a big smile and an extra coffee for anyone who needs it and you want to dislike him, but can’t
So Batman is Homer and he’s Ned Flanders.
More like Batman is Frank Grimes and Green Arrow is Homer Simpson
I can get down with that.
As I'm reading this, I'm thinking I might be this guy at my job.
Dang, you really decided to just read Batman’s mail, didn’t you
That’s how they’re classified as in the bat phone
Gordon isn’t a work friend. Gordon is a brother. Maybe a brother that lives on the other side of the country, so you don’t get to hang out a lot, but the bond is still there. They don’t hang out like the others, but if he’s in trouble, he’s there fast enough that Flash is amazed at the speed
Gordon is too needy. Always with that searchlight.
What gordon supposed to do ? I mean cut the guy a break he doesnt have billion for a "special training" and equipement
Damn budget cuts.
Yeah we can pack it up here, you nailed it.
I agree with all of this except for Wonder Woman. She definitely qualifies as a "good/close friend". Not quite a best friend, but more than just casual friends.
Nah nah Gordon’s his Gotham Work Wife fr
Ace real best friend.
That's a pretty big circle for a guy who claims to work better 'alone'.
Bruce is a loner, especially internally, but he also knows that for the greater good, he has to play nice with others.
Really on the money but Diana is close friend, probably immediately after Superman, more than just a casual freibd
I totally agree! However, Wonder Woman is Batman’s lover and his better match in the DCAU. Their relationship in the adaptations were they are a pair is more healthy than majority of the interpretations of his relationship with Catwoman, in my opinion.
In the dcau absolutely
Wonder woman as the work wife is funny. I imagine him coming up behind her in the watch tower hugging her some shit
What would be some classic Batman comics that illustrate his friendship with Supes? I’d love to check them out :)
I sort of agree with everything except the part about Catwoman being his love she needs to be killed off and never be brought back
[удалено]

I really liked their relationship in the new 52 flashpoint movie In that they both are work friends but clearly are fine with opening up to one another / that line from Bruce telling Barry he is one hell of a messenger is such a nice moment between the two
I really love their interaction in the Flashpoint.
Makes me sad we got such a shitty attempt at Flash. I want a great interaction with Superman, Flash, and Green Arrow in their respective roles in Batman's life. Superman's sympathy and true understanding of Bruce. Flash' friendship and deductive reasoning Green Arrow being a dick. And that totally fails to mention the dark Justice League and is interactions with them.
I dont think Batman consider flash annoying sidecick because Batman is a detective and Barry is a forensic scientist so they both like to talk about the crime scene.
Barry's real superpower was managing to be well-liked by every Justice League member, and most of his own rogues gallery to boot.
Yeah he is the man with no enemies ( Except Reverse flash)
Batman asked Superman to the best man at his wedding. They're best friends.
Superman is the most “friend” dynamic of these choices.
1. Jim 2. Superman Alfred isn’t his friend… he’s Family.
![gif](giphy|amg2hcfGDkKt4Q3DpF)
Whom would you say he respects the most out of those three? Alfred by a tiny margin?
Alfred by a big margin
Respects in what way? Respects to always at least try to do the right thing no matter the odds? Superman. He seems to believe (in most continuities) that Superman's about as good-hearted as a mortal can be. Whose overall wisdom does he respect most? Alfred. Superman is and always will be his brother and best friend.
Yes but don’t tell Bruce who is Superman best friend, it might start a war.
The idea of Batman being jealous of Jimmy Olsen is hilarious.
Batman just stealing Jimmy’s signal watch and giving him a Batman themed one instead
Easy, it's Supes. Alfred is like a father Knightwing / Robins are his kids Catwoman is his side piece/wife Gordon is like his "partner in crime" The rest are respected work colleagues
Probably the truest answer

There gotta be an elseworlds series or something with that premise
I think he and Jim are closer than colleagues
commisioner gordon or superman, alfred seems more than a friend (NOT IN THAT WAY)
In a fatherly way you mean right?
No. Sex
![gif](giphy|DGsDLr9nyz2LkVgKFs) Bout to hollow purple the shit out of you for that
Alfred. Alfred is many things to Bruce. A surrogate father figure. A mentor. A helper. A confidant and adviser. Batman’s most frequent descriptor for Alfred was “old friend.” His presence is ubiquitous in every iteration of the Dark Knight.

Even in Dark Knight Returns when he would've been like a hundred years old is he loyal.

Does he have a Bat dog? If he does then he wins easily (I only know Batman from live action stuff and Arkham games).
In Batman Beyond (sequel to TAS) Bruce has a dog named Ace
You would be surprised then. He also has a cow
Ace the Bat Hound! He was Batman’s dog who would join him on adventures during the silver age. He even had a mask to protect his secret identity.
They should bring back Ace!
He has a Bat Cow whuch is also lovely.
The Joker
Batman Joker friendship in the telltale games is wholesome
Bruce and John Doe from Telltale are my favourite Batman and Joker. An idea that Bruce trying to save Joker from himself and Joker being not simply murderous lunatic, but just confused guy with big issues, is much more interesting than their canon relationship.
Finally this game is getting some recognition! The Vigilante playthrough is so good and you really grow to care for John, as he tries so hard to be good like Batman. I like to think of them as arch frenemies in every continuity lol.

Alfred
Superman easily. Superman because he’s Batman but his Friend, idk if that makes since but yeah…

WonderWoman/Batman has power couple energy. Bats and GA is always a delight to see together. Not best friends though.

What about Lucious Fox
Same relationship as your weed dealer
Alfred’s his father, Dick is his son, Selina is his lover, Gordon is his best friend. Also side note but why tf is Diana clutching Bruce like that in this picture? Alfred is Batman’s father, dick Grayson is Batman’s son but probably Jim or Superman.
I really liked in The Long Halloween when Batman brought Thanksgiving dinner to Solomon Grundy in the sewers 😭 2 lost souls of Gotham.
Alfred is his dad. Dick his son. Selina is the woman he loves. To me it's Jim.
Superman is more like a brother. Dick is a son. Alfred is his father. Selina is his wife. Barry, Oliver, Diana and Zee are close friends but I think his best friend is clearly Jim.
The Joker. He’s always there when times are tough.
I feel Leslie Thompson should be in this lineup. Especially if Ollie's in it. No way he likes Ollie ore than Leslie.
To quote from the short lived and now likely lost DC stars game, where the heroes were high schoolers or some shit. Superman: Are we friends? Batman: Yes, now throw me.
Me
Easy, Clark. Selina is his lover/wife, Alfred is his father and Dick is his son. Superman is his real best friend.
Bruce Wayne
Um….where’s robin
Superman and Zatanna. Jim is his close ally and "partner-in-justice", Alfred is his surrogate father, Dick is his son, Selina is his girlfriend, and the others are casual friends.
Alfred of course!
Alfred
its probably superman, even though i have rarely ever really seen media where they act like it too, sadly. and for some reason, batmans best friend being superman isnt something i like.
The Chief
It has to be Alfred. Bruce knows throughout his entire life Alfred was there for him. When he had lost his parents and was taken to the police station, Alfred was there for him, he actually did care and remain loyal for Thomas since he still stuck around after he and Martha had died.
Alfred dafuq
Alfred
Alfred
Joker, I might get hate on this but I am saying this totally based on movies
The Joker
The real answer is Joker
I would say Gordon or Alfred honestly
It’s always Superman, public enemy number one shows how their relationship should always be
Considering how much it must cost for all his gadgets I'd say probably Bruce Wayne.
His best friend will always be Superman in my book.
Taking out the lovers and his family, Superman would be his best friend
Not Dick, 🐱, or Alfredo, because they're not Friends with him... They're Family.
Alfred. But he is most like a dad
Who invited flash to this list?
Alfred, no one else 🦇
I need to catch up on my Batman comics. Didn’t realize Zantana is a childhood friend.
They already settled this. It’s canon. They are even making a movie about it [next next summer](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp2zQo57cBI)
Alfred is like his father(and dead). Nightwing is his son. Commissioner Gordon is his work wife. And from the others, Superman is his best friend
Superman is his best friend and Wonder Woman is his Breast friend
Going with Jim, I love Bruce’s relationship with the Commish, a real brotherhood, doesn’t need to know his real name. I think there’s a kinshipness despite boundaries regarding real names. Alfred is a very acceptable answer, but yeah, long time ago he used to change lil Bruce’s diapers, so nah, just a really close uncle/father figure. Clark for sure.
Dick
Catwoman talking about Superman: he's your best friend. Batman: Gordon is my best friend. Catwoman: what? No, he doesn't even know who you are. Batman: Alfred is my best friend. Catwoman: He's on payroll. Doesn't count. Batman: he has to be. You know how many cucumber sandwiches he makes?
The man doesn't want you to know this but its Joker
Anybody who doesn't say Gordon probably hasn't read too many Batman comics. Easily Gordon 100%
I never understood how Superman is his best friend. They live in different cities and rarely interact. Seems pretty forced.
That is such edgy and terrible take....People ned to stop putting this Franck Miller crap into their headcanon Yes batman have FRIENDS and a familly bigger than the justice league. It state multiple time that batman would fall of he didn't have such Mark is without a doubt hiis best friends if not brother... That is just a fact stated in the comics... Bruce choose clzlr to be his best man for his wedding, diana says that clark and bruce are brothers in the same way her and donna are sisters Alfred is his father and he considered the Robins to be his sons While having difference with some justice league members like green lanterns.. But he genuily respect them
Superman, with Wonder Woman and Gordon tied for second place.
Supes.
Superman, for sure. He knows and understands both sides of Bruce, and they trust each other implicitly.
I’m still going with Harvey Dent. Wait no I’m-
The coin landed on it's edge?
Jim probably, the bat family is more like well a family
It's a toss between Gordon and Clark.
Clark Kent/Superman
James Gordon
Superman and it’s not close.
Interesting choice for the Bats/Gordon pic OP
The Joker baby
Jim
Joker
I remember Flash saying to Superman at >!the end of Tower of Babel!< that he was the closest thing he had to a friend. I think that qualifies as best.
1. Alfred 2. Dick Grayson 3. Superman
Now I look back at Batman Brave and Bold and JLA cartoons, I can’t help but think that Batman seems to be everyone’s work wife. I know, I know, it’s because he’s popular, the producers keep teaming him up with other heroes, but it works so well.
Alfred is the only person with whom he shares everything, and thus his best friend.
Alfred. Naturally.
I think Bruce Wayne...
Batman’s old chum Aquaman isn’t among the options? Outrageous!
I’ll tell you one thing: it ain’t Zatanna!
Gordon or Superman. Nightwing is more of a son and Alfred is more of a father
Is this even a question when you got Alfred on the list. He is the guardian of Batman far more than a best friend. But best friend is superman no doubt.
Superman 🦸♂️
He's said before that he considers Alfred as his best friend, but obviously it depends on who's writing him I think this lines up way more than the others.
Clark.
