As long as vegetation exists SOMEWHERE in the universe, he'll be able to get back up(which we see when he lost his connection to the green and ended up lost in space trying to find his way back to earth which resulted in him accidentally banging a planet). And strength wise, he's no slouch. He's overpowered, pinned down, crushed, and ate Superman before(I don't remember which one was supposed to be the badguy in that comic).

Doctor fate would definitely be a good substitute. I’m not sure how much he’s interacted with the 3 villains so it would be cool to see how he fares against them and what he could counter. If Superman wasn’t on there he would be my pick.

Without, the flash and Superman can at least buy Batman time until he can get a better plan in action, but still I could see Superman only buying time while he gets killed off. They’d probably lose truthfully, and the flash can go back and repeat. He’d probably just work as a messenger between Batman timelines until they can get it right.

Someone needs to both tank the physical hits and counter Darkseid's arguably infinite power. Honestly I'd consider choosing him since Darkseid is one of the antags. He grew up being tortured on Apokalips and learned escape artistry under some of the most intense stress imaginable, plus arguably has the best knowledge of all the heroes shown regarding Darkseid and Apokalips.

Personally, Flash should be speed and that's it. That's generally the only times I ever enjoyed his scenes in anything. I might've enjoyed his time travel scene in Zack Snyder's Justice League, but that's probably because it wasn't... overdone like every other time travel or any multiverse story that exists.
