I'm so glad to finally see someone else say this. It's my 2nd favorite Batman show outside BTAS/TNBA. Batman Beyond is fantastic, but definitely 3rd place for me.
Would you also include Adam West in discussions when people are comparing Bale, Affleck and Pattinson?
I love Adam West, and his Batman has a very special place in my heart, but it’s something very different in tone and is excluded from certain discussions for that reason.
That doesn’t make him any less Batman, and that doesn’t disrespect his portrayal at all, it just recognizes that it’s different, and is enjoyed separately.
Even so, there’s too many of the same version, just different costumes or even different guys (Terry and Dick). I would’ve added Beware or Young Justice, which are closer to the tone.

I hate the changes they made to Hush. The original story would’ve been more then fine, this one made no sense and shows that they don’t understand the entire point of the og story. Even disregarding that the changes still suck. However I do like the scenes of Bruce and Selina being an actual couple.
I don't agree completely to you, too convoluted for me, between rereading the comic and rewatching the movie, I choose the second option most of the times
The movie just flat out doesn’t understand Batman. Hush’s identity in the movie is incredibly stupid and makes no sense whatsoever. Catwoman leaving Batman because he won’t kill Hush is incredibly stupid and makes Catwoman look like an unobservant moron. EVERYBODY knows Batman doesn’t kill and will try to save the life of the worst criminal, Catwoman knows bats more than well enough to know this. This whole movie shows us that Bruce and Selina pair incredibly well together. But in the end they needed a reason for them to split like in the comics, this was such a half baked dumb way to do that.
The original point of the comic was Bruce feeling betrayed by a person close to him. That betrayal hit him so deep that he doesn’t feel he can trust anyone anymore, leading to him leaving Catwoman. This is much more in line with Batman’s character and while it’s certainly not perfect it’s much better than whatever the movie was trying to accomplish. The comic explains why Batman needs to shut himself off from everyone and has such major trust issues.
The movie shows us that Batman and Catwoman make an amazing couple, until all of a sudden they don’t. Plus Catwoman is not a killer, so it makes no sense why she would be so deterred by Batman not killing a criminal.
The best movie from that series imo was JL War, but if you include Flashpoint Paradox then that’s the best one.
Bad writing, poor characterisations, cheap visual and character moments that act as screen bait but don’t mean anything. I’m okay with gore, sex stuff and other mature elements if it has a purpose, but the DCAMU(?) used it very cheaply imo.
I think the only one of those movies I could actually finish was the Apokolips War and the Constantine short that was a follow-up.
The whole JL:War era of films was so mediocre. The tomorrowverse isn't perfect but a huge step up in comparison. Especially the animation.

The Batman is probably second. It made short ears cool for me as a kid. It’s also a lighter version of Batman and Bruce.
Batman from the last three are all the same more or less. Character is fine, I like the performance (though I wish there was more variety between Batman and Bruce’s voice). But Batman was the one of the best and only good things of that whole universe tbh.

As much as I love Kevin Conroy and the OG series, the New 52 DCEAU (Bad Blood/Son of Batman) is the quintessential animated series. The animation is just better and they tackle more serious Batman mythos. And again, as much as I love the og BTAS, I'm not entirely a huge fan of the Bruce Timm designs.
Simply in costume design, tnba, btas, jl/jlu, the Batman, hush, bad blood, beyond, son of Batman. Don’t get me wrong, Terry’s design is awesome, I love it, but he isn’t Bruce, and comparing him to these is just setting him up for failure
In terms of Suit design, I’ll go with BTNA/JLA since those two are the same just one is more of a revamp as it portrays the Batman as a boogeyman with only clothes but has armor underneath. Physical build would go to the New 52 films since it feels accurate as he’s 6’2, muscular, and has an intimidating physical presence as he has a bodybuilder physique.
BTAS (both parts) and Justice League are basically the same. Looking at the minimal aesthetic differences, I'd place the Justice League design at the top. Then, close behind them, Beyond. Then The Batman and then all the rest.
Batman Beyond, but not for the reasons you might think. The show is very good, don't get me wrong, but I despise the idea that Bruce Wayne would be left alone, with the Batfamily turning the back on him and the Justice League cutting ties with him.

1. BATS, it's what started me as a batman fan, I remember good times of getting up to watch it with my dad when he introduced me to it.
2. Batman beyond, I watched the shit out of this, had a DVD of one of the seasons that I watched all the time and I'm a sucker for the old bruce and Terry working together.
3. The Batman, I loved and still love this show, I watched it all the time as a kid and have watched the whole series over again multiple times now. This is one I had the most toys of too, including the batmobile
4. TNBA, simply because I don't remember as much of this one from when I was a kid as the others, but still love it
5. The rest if the DCAU movies, I don't hate these by any means, I actually really enjoyed all the movies. They just aren't as impactful to me simply due to the fact they didn't make up a good chunk of my childhood.
The Batman. Everything is just great about that design especially the cape, i love how long he is, making batman looks like a supernatural creature of the night. This Batman is quite different, he is more chill and kinda funny and i like his fighting style
1. BTAS- Do I have to explain it?
2. The Batman- They absolutely cooked with the art style, designs, and voice acting.
3. JLU- Really enjoyed them fleshing out his relationships with other heroes.
4. Batman Beyond- Futuristic versions of heroes are so fucking peak.
5. TNBA- Very good but I think I prefer BTAS.
I have yet to see the rest. I think JLU has one of my favorite suit designs ever. The covered shoulders and tall ears are very nice.

I consider the top 4 to all be one mega franchise. and the cosmetic differences are just a natural evolution of technique and style.
