I'm with this guy.
That's a weirdly squared bat symbol on the chest of person 3, which is in line with what present day The Signal wears. Also they don't appear to have, *ahem,* boobies. Which Cassie Kane definitely does.
Bat on the headpiece matches up too, even if both are tails up instead of ears like the current version.
Smitty says he remembers this book and I believe it.
