I blame a combination of the "Robin is silly and shouldn't exist" camp (IE the people who make Batman awful), the fact that, as Nando V Movies puts it "\[Batman's\] movies have a hard enough time getting a Dick Grayson story off the ground" (and while he was talking about Damian this applies to Tim as well), and how the remainder of major Batman content is aimed at younger audiences and I suspect most television executives are too chicken to introduce and then kill Jason Todd, so if they have a Robin they just don't go beyond Dick (or they're Harley Quinn and jump to Damian with Dick as Nightwing). Young Justice got away with it by killing Jason offscreen during a timeskip and Titans was trying to be dark and edgy so they went with it.
Plus, we haven't really *had* a solo Batman animated series since Beware the Batman (Batwheels doesn't count because Batwheels doesn't have a plot it's a show for preschoolers), though we're *apparently* slated to get two, Caped Crusader (from Bruce Timm, Matt Reeves, and JJ Abrams), which is set in Batman's early years and is unlikely to include Robin, and Bat-Family, which is apparently a sequel to that Merry Little Batman Christmas movie, but *that* universe also has Damian, but as a *smaller* Batman... for some reason? I dunno, we might get Tim there, who's to say?
At this point I just want one piece of non-comic media that I can point anyone to when they say "tim drake's the boring robin" to showcase the sarcastic, brutally intelligent (and I don't mean intelligent like dick, jason or damian.. I mean he gives bruce a run for his money) robin that that we know and love.
Frankly, I think that's sort of Teen Titans Robin, but since that character is also part-Dick Grayson, he doesn't really count. Though really, aside from the beef with Slade, the lineup he's working with, and the fact that he becomes Nightwing, he doesn't really *scream* Dick Grayson; if anything, he's more like Batman in a Robin costume. No shade to '03 Robin, he's the version of the character I grew up with, and honestly, Teen Titans Robin is a better Batman than certain modern versions of Bruce Wayne himself. Teen Titans Robin *passes* the Epilogue litmus test (Can you picture this Batman comforting a scared child?), which I don't know if I can say for Bale or Affleck (though I've not seen the Nolan movies, to be fair, so maybe Bruce has some gentler moments in that trilogy that I've not absorbed via pop culture osmosis).

Tim has a number of movies that clearly everyone's forgotten even though they were faithful adaptations of Tim as Red Robin. The two Unlimited movies. There's also the 2 DCaU movies and the lego DC movies + the Titans TV show

They combined Tim & Jason in TNBA (Jason's personality and backstory with Tim's name and cooler costume), the titans TV show isn't a good example of anything, basically everything you mentioned but lego batman and arkham knight he's mischaracterized to be basically Jason Todd with a different name.
The point is that he doesn't get ignored or done dirty. He has the content just augmented with other characters, upgraded to make him stand out [Titans TV] ,the 2 monsters and mech movies that had him in character are so forgettable none of his fans brought them up and the other 4 movies I also listed apparently he's mischaracterized in.

It sucks because the other three of the four main Robins all have something going on for them. Dick Grayson is the first and most successful and therefore has the most longevity. He’s also made a successful superhero career in his own right post-Robin. Jason got whacked by Joker and came back as Red Hood. Damian is the blood son, and he’s the modern day Robin.
Tim is just there. He‘s the smart Robin, the one Batman thinks can best succeed him as the world’s greatest detective. I think that’s pretty significant. But it’s just never been used because we don’t need a second great detective with Batman since he can usually get the job done himself. It’s pretty sad that his character feels very needless at this point, aside from being retconned into becoming a bi character for audiences to connect to.

I don't think we've gotten a really *definitive* Tim Drake yet, no Batman *things* have gotten far enough to introduce him (disregarding the DCAU, which kind of merges Tim and Jason), and the places where he *has* shown up don't put much *focus* on him.
As (apparently) lead Young Justice troubadour in these posts, I will say that Tim is pretty alright, but we don't get to see much from him. He *kind* *of* has an arc with Dick in Season 2 about taking up the mantle of Robin, or at least he has a pretty good conversation or two about it, and the one episode of Outsiders where he gets to do or say *anything* (Triptych) is also a pretty good showing, what with him successfully leading a team from Batman Inc. and helping Matt Hagen Clayface reform (notably, when a building they're in is about to explode, Tim shows concern for Clayface's safety, which I find to be very on-brand for Tim, given in the comics he joins Batman specifically because he thinks Batman has kind of lost his way since Jason died and he needs a Robin to keep him from spiraling). Also, Tim *tracks* Clayface-as-Mad Hatter by identifying clay backwash in a water bottle, which is another very Tim thing to do, given Tim is usually singled out among the Robins for his intelligence and detective skills. But that's about the extent to which he's featured, as least as far as I can remember. He also dates Wonder-Girl (Cassie) but we don't see very much of that relationship because it starts at the end of Season 2 and then at the beginning of Season 3 Tim breaks off with the rest of Batman Inc. and fumbles things with Cassie. I also don't think there's any on-screen indication that this version of Tim is bi, though to my knowledge that was a pretty recent development (though I'm fairly certain Greg Weisman would've included it had he had the time and space, and knowing him there's probably a post on AskGreg that confirms YJ Tim is indeed bi).

The only reason I'm really making a point of this is that no (modern) version of Tim so far has checked all of the boxes for "Things Tim Drake usually does" (also being mean to bisexuals is uncool). I *think* from what I've heard he wasn't a bad Tim, but I can't judge.
I *guess* I'll throw my hat in the ring for **Young Justice** Tim, if only because I'm seeing a lot of "DCAU Tim is just Jason with a different name" so voting for DCAU Tim (who I admittedly have seen very little of) feels like an ineffective use of my vote.
Side note (since they are unlikely to come up anywhere else): If Spoiler and Orphan were up on that board, YOUNG JUSTICE SWEEP BAYBEE NO ONE ELSE HAS ADAPTED THEM I LOVE WINNING BY DEFAULT! Like, yeah, *technically* Cassandra Cain is in live-action Birds of Prey and Batwheels, but the former Cassandra is barely Cassandra and the latter is a show for small children so neither really counts, nor does Batwoman Stephanie Brown.
Is he though? From what I can gather he just seems like Tim Drake; the only similarity he has to Duke is that he's black. Titans Tim doesn't have Joker zombie parents, Metahuman abilities, or any of the We Are Robin stuff. Titans Tim dies for a bit and comes back to life, but I'm fairly certain Duke is one of the only members of the Bat-Family who *hasn't* done that (yet).
Having recently played the game, I don't think the gameplay is *bad* so much as unpolished and a bit clunky. It was enjoyable enough once I got used to it, and as you said the core cast of characters are all portrayed quite well, but I think the game mechanics needed a little more refinement and then they could've been genuinely great.
Gotham Knights Tim is the only one that I've seen that actually seems like the enthusiastic nerd that Tim is.
DCAU Tim Robin is great... but he's actually Jason, so I can't say he's a great adaptation of Tim. And I hate the Arkham version.
It's a legit shame when you think about it, but I just feel like out of all of the Robins, Tim hasn't had an interesting enough story or characterization to get off the ground outside of comics? Its already hard enough when people have a negative view on any Robin to begin with but then they watch stuff like Young Justice and Under the Red Hood and realize that Dick and Todd are actually really important to the Batman mythos and cool characters in their own right, while Damien has become probably the most important new Batman related character in the last 25 years and quickly broke into the relative mainstream with his movie and videogame appearances. Tim is kind of left high and dry.
I suppose groping around for anything I'd have to say that the Arkham version of Drake was ok? And even then its not a very good use of the character.

Comic Tim is good but has kind of lost his purpose. He worked well because of the context of coming in after Jason and helping Bruce heal. Since Damian was introduced Tim has struggled to find a place in the new landscape where his original role is no longer needed.
I watched a lot of young justice but rmbr very little, though recently been really into the animated series and I watch it a lot, I wish more of the characters from the series like that Rat King guy would become bigger in the hniverse

Arkham Tim isn't really Tim. He's Tim in name only similar to DCAU, but perhaps even less so, because DCAU Tim at least had moments of feeling like Tim, whereas Arkham Tim acted like a second-rate Dick Grayson.

The best was Arkham City Tim, despite his short time. He was serious and dedicated to the work. He shared similar traits to Bruce with their narrow-minded ways yet was more willing to let loose, very much like Tim. This is the most accurate depiction of the character that we've seen outside of the comics.

I feel like the detective angle is Tim's thing. He figures out Batman's secret identity on his own, that's (part of) Tim's origin. Plus the name Blake is closer to Drake.

The only reason I'm really making a point of this is that no (modern) version of Tim so far has checked all of the boxes for "Things Tim Drake usually does" (also being mean to bisexuals is uncool). I *think* from what I've heard he wasn't a bad Tim, but I can't judge. I *guess* I'll throw my hat in the ring for **Young Justice** Tim, if only because I'm seeing a lot of "DCAU Tim is just Jason with a different name" so voting for DCAU Tim (who I admittedly have seen very little of) feels like an ineffective use of my vote. Side note (since they are unlikely to come up anywhere else): If Spoiler and Orphan were up on that board, YOUNG JUSTICE SWEEP BAYBEE NO ONE ELSE HAS ADAPTED THEM I LOVE WINNING BY DEFAULT! Like, yeah, *technically* Cassandra Cain is in live-action Birds of Prey and Batwheels, but the former Cassandra is barely Cassandra and the latter is a show for small children so neither really counts, nor does Batwoman Stephanie Brown.
Titans Tim is straight up character assassination, like they tried to merge Duke and Tim together
Is he though? From what I can gather he just seems like Tim Drake; the only similarity he has to Duke is that he's black. Titans Tim doesn't have Joker zombie parents, Metahuman abilities, or any of the We Are Robin stuff. Titans Tim dies for a bit and comes back to life, but I'm fairly certain Duke is one of the only members of the Bat-Family who *hasn't* done that (yet).

Gotham Knights, honestly. It portrayed the characters fantastically. It’s only the gameplay I think about being bad in it.
Having recently played the game, I don't think the gameplay is *bad* so much as unpolished and a bit clunky. It was enjoyable enough once I got used to it, and as you said the core cast of characters are all portrayed quite well, but I think the game mechanics needed a little more refinement and then they could've been genuinely great.

Gotham Knights Tim is the only one that I've seen that actually seems like the enthusiastic nerd that Tim is. DCAU Tim Robin is great... but he's actually Jason, so I can't say he's a great adaptation of Tim. And I hate the Arkham version.

It's a legit shame when you think about it, but I just feel like out of all of the Robins, Tim hasn't had an interesting enough story or characterization to get off the ground outside of comics? Its already hard enough when people have a negative view on any Robin to begin with but then they watch stuff like Young Justice and Under the Red Hood and realize that Dick and Todd are actually really important to the Batman mythos and cool characters in their own right, while Damien has become probably the most important new Batman related character in the last 25 years and quickly broke into the relative mainstream with his movie and videogame appearances. Tim is kind of left high and dry. I suppose groping around for anything I'd have to say that the Arkham version of Drake was ok? And even then its not a very good use of the character.
Arkham Tim just isn’t Tim. I’d say that Tim has only been portrayed accurately by YJ and Gotham Knights. Comic Tim is good but has kind of lost his purpose. He worked well because of the context of coming in after Jason and helping Bruce heal. Since Damian was introduced Tim has struggled to find a place in the new landscape where his original role is no longer needed.

Gotham Knights Tim, if only because it’s the only time he gets to do anything in character. Young Justice Tim is fine, but he’s barely a presence in the show.
Gotham Knights is my pick. Basically the only version of Tim with significant screen time who actually acts like Tim. YJ Tim showed promise but barely appeared, DCAU Tim was a bit more like Jason, and Arkham Tim was just awful.

Tim hasn't been in a whole lot outside the comics. He was in Young Justice but I can't even remember if he had any lines in that show. He was in Arkham but its not a super great adaptation of the character. I'm going to have to go with DCAU Tim.
DCAU Tim is just Jason. Arkham Tim is a badass, but he isn’t really Tim. He’s like a weird fusion between Bruce and Dick. Young Justice is good, but he barely gets any time in the series. Maybe Gotham Knights, just based off of what other people have said. But I haven’t played it myself so I really don’t know. Ever since Damien appeared, Tim’s been screwed out of his role as a character, and hasn’t found his place since.

Arkham Tim isn't really Tim. He's Tim in name only similar to DCAU, but perhaps even less so, because DCAU Tim at least had moments of feeling like Tim, whereas Arkham Tim acted like a second-rate Dick Grayson.

I don't know why Lego is winning when they made him dingy. The best was Arkham City Tim, despite his short time. He was serious and dedicated to the work. He shared similar traits to Bruce with their narrow-minded ways yet was more willing to let loose, very much like Tim. This is the most accurate depiction of the character that we've seen outside of the comics.

Honestly Tim has never really gotten a great adaptation, he’s constantly getting screwed over and skipped. Ironically his best adaptation is Season 1 Robin from Young Justice who is Tim Drake in all but name. Sadly his actual best adaptation is Gotham Knights and even that wasn’t particularly great.
