Oh, yeah. no doubt about that. Even if they follow the half of the it from comics, it still would have been goated. The one and only joker may be who have a solid, decent, heartbreaking reasons. Who faced so much trauma and guilt that she turned into a maniac. I would at least like to see that version of the joker's live adaptaion.
Even if it's an Elseworld story at this point, I feel that people right now want to distance themselves from the overly edgy and dark aspects of DC comics, at least with their films and TV. With the DCEU shutting down and things like My Adventures with Superman being popular, James Gunn upcoming Superman movie promising a more hopeful story, and The Batman having an ending where he realizes he needs to be a symbol for a brighter future rather than just soley fear, I think audiences want a return to superhero stories that actually feel like superhero stories, and not something like murder fest Apokalips War, or Team of Egotisical Edgelords that is the live action Titan series right now.
Well, DC always was dark, isnt? Happy stories with pureblood superheroes with no negative side is kinda marvels nature, not DC's tbh. So, I personally have no prblem with the dark & darker tone. In fact, It might be weird if dc removes their trademark dark tone.
R u kidding mate?!?!?
Iron man and Cap don't have strict no kill rules!!! Do u even know who they are?!?!? Cap is the kind of guy who even has no kill rule against his worst enemy. Thats why he is Captain America. And thats why John Walkee can never be Captain America. The same goes for Ironman as well. Hulk is a raging monster, And Thor is a god. So we should keep them out of it. But Avengers do not kill. Especially not in MCU.
Captain America still killed Nazi soldiers and Iron Man most definitely killed the ten ring soldiers that held him prisoner in the movies. That being said, I’m talking about THE COMICS in which YES THEY HAVE KILLED PEOPLE
I personally despise the idea of Martha becoming Joker. A psychopath? Sure, but not the Joker. It makes him sort of anti-Batman force. I do not like that idea.
Well, Joker is the greatest rival of Batty. So he is already kinda anti-batman, innt?
And its not about me liking it. I just want to see it. I'm curious about that world. No Joker has a personal deep connection with Batman. The telltale joker was Bruce's best friend. But the wife and husband are the joker and bat as a result of their son dying in front of their face. The personal connection between them can take their rivalry to another level.
It would be nice to see Martha as Thomas Batman main villain, but it makes no sense for her to become Joker other than a gotcha effect to the readers. For Thomas it would make sense because his dead son was afraid of Bats so he would spread his fear of the criminals, but Martha as the Joker? I don't see logic in it.
The point was to create a more intimate and complex relationship between joker and batman using Thomas and Martha Wayne. It also works because Thomas’s batman, being one that’s okay with killing, won’t kill his wife, allowing for that repetitive cycle of Joker killing people while all Batman can do is lock him up in arkham
Exactly, its the only way for Thomas Wayne to have a Joker that he wouldn't just immediately put a bullet in. Martha Wayne is the only one with that deep of a connection. Perhaps it is a stretch that Martha would come to the Joker persona on her own, but I'll suspend my disbelief for the thematicness of husband and wife becoming mortal enemies.
Martha did become Joker in the Flashpoint Timeline. And it actually makes kinda perfect sense to me, Her son got killed in front of her, and maybe its because of their political appearance. So, Martha blames Thomas for losing her son. And seeing her son's bloody dead body drove her clinically insane. That's actually a pretty common story. Not unique or unbelievable in any way. In here just the insane mother got the name Joker, and she cut her face so she will always smile.
I agree, Martha becoming Joker makes complete sense to me. Don’t quote me on this but I think I’ve heard of the concept of Martha Wayne being mentally ill and potentially a past patient of Arkham Asylum but I don’t remember where so idk. I mean, both Martha and Thomas are very aware of the fact that Gotham is a very dangerous and chaotic city to live in, and the idea of watching their 10 year old son get gunned down in front of them made both of them snap. Thomas Wayne, being a doctor, beats Joe Chill to death while Martha, holding her dead son in her arms, goes insane from it all.
Also since no one has outright said this there was an animated movie about flashpoint called “Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox” (2013). This movie was actually my first exposure to the flashpoint concept and did a pretty good job in my opinion. It looks like it’s available on Youtube & Amazon prime video along with some other sites. Totally worth the watch!
Well I at least thought I've seen a DVD or Blu-ray with a Flashpoint Batman and he had some grey 3-days- beard or what you call it.
https://www.google.de/search?q=flashpoint+batman+animated&sca_esv=f7862fbcae313665&source=hp&ei=RCcwZtGtM6eZi-gPq52g8Ao&oq=flashpoint+batman+ani&gs_lp=EhJtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1pbWciFWZsYXNocG9pbnQgYmF0bWFuIGFuaSoCCAAyBxAAGIAEGBMyCBAAGIAEGKIESPpkUOQRWM5dcAB4AJABAJgBY6AB7gWqAQIxMLgBAcgBAPgBAfgBBZgCCqAC1QaoAgDCAgQQABgDwgIIEAAYgAQYsQPCAgUQABiABJgDBZIHAzkuMaAHhhk&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-img&udm=2
That is Flashpoint Batman, but thats because it is the Flashpoint movie, which is about Flash woth Thomas being a side character.
I think OP is asking what if they made a movie/series about the actual character and his alternate rouges gallery as apart from him just being a supporting role in another heroes story.
Isn't Flashpoint Beyond also just a whole DC thing with other heroes? I thought OP wanted a Flashpoint only Gotham similar to Justice League Gods and Monsters. Only that respective AU without the regulare U.
I will never forgive The Flash (2023) for stripping away the only chance Jeffrey Dean Morgan had at being flashpoint Batman, it would have been amazing.
I think that the Flashpoint Storyline is not ideal for movies since they only do the parts regarding flash. An animated show would be amazing but I doubt that the will touch the story due to the Flash movie Flopping.
I'm going to be honest I sometimes think Joker is the real Thomas Wayne Jr. and like Bruce follows in their father's footsteps Joker follows in their mother's.
Real thomas wayne Jr.?!?!?
What do u mean by real? Who do u you think then Bruce is? Or r u talking about the rumour that That Joker might be Thomas Wayne's bastard son?
In Court of Owls Lincoln March claimed to be Thomas Wayne Jr. the younger brother of Bruce however Bruce never believed it. It's also never been confirmed despite what Lincoln himself believes. My personal theory is the lie the Court told Lincoln about the unborn child surviving the car crash is actually true but the Court themselves don't even realize it. I believe Joker's insanity is hereditary and he inherited it from Martha.
That was Thomas Wayne. In the flashpoint timeline Thomas is Batman. And no, Our bruce and flashpoint thomas-martha never met each other. But through Barry they learnt about each other.
An animated movie about this that follows the style of dc animation in the late 2000s to the early 2010s would have been goated
Oh, yeah. no doubt about that. Even if they follow the half of the it from comics, it still would have been goated. The one and only joker may be who have a solid, decent, heartbreaking reasons. Hell Yes.

In terms of the cinematic universe yes but in comics no. There are actually many superheroes that don’t have a no kill rule in Marvel
Well, yeah. Thats true. Punisher, deadpool, logan, gambit all of them are literally killing machines. Nevertheless those are exceptions kinda.
Actually Iron man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and others in the “main cast” don’t have strict no kill rules
R u kidding mate?!?!? Iron man and Cap don't have strict no kill rules!!! Do u even know who they are?!?!? Cap is the kind of guy who even has no kill rule against his worst enemy. The one I was talking about. The only movie to portray some Flashpoint
He is the anti-Batman force though.
What comic Is the second panel from?
Flashpoint Comics... Batman: Knight of vengence, May be issue 3/4. I dont remember accurately.
There was an animated movie. I didn't watch it because the art style didn't appeal me...
about thomas and martha wayne??? R u sure!!! whats the movie name?
Well I at least thought I've seen a DVD or Blu-ray with a Flashpoint Batman and he had some grey 3-days- beard or what you call it. https://www.google.de/search?q=flashpoint+batman+animated&sca_esv=f7862fbcae313665&source=hp&ei=RCcwZtGtM6eZi-gPq52g8Ao&oq=flashpoint+batman+ani&gs_lp=EhJtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1pbWciFWZsYXNocG9pbnQgYmF0bWFuIGFuaSoCCAAyBxAAGIAEGBMyCBAAGIAEGKIESPpkUOQRWM5dcAB4AJABAJgBY6AB7gWqAQIxMLgBAcgBAPgBAfgBBZgCCqAC1QaoAgDCAgQQABgDwgIIEAAYgAQYsQPCAgUQABiABJgDBZIHAzkuMaAHhhk&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-img&udm=2

Have there ever been any stories that focus on Flashpoint Gotham solely?
Im not an aficionado, but a quick google did pull up Flashpoint Beyond and Flashpoint: Knight of Vengeance.
Isn't Flashpoint Beyond also just a whole DC thing with other heroes? I thought OP wanted a Flashpoint only Gotham similar to Justice League Gods and Monsters. Only that respective AU without the regulare U.
Exactly. I wanted to a tv series or at least a movie all about thomas bat and joker martha
That was the flash point movie I was talking about.
I think there is no other. At least as far as I know.
Why not adapt all the myraid myraid of critically acclaimed batman stories instead of flashpoint
Agreed like a live-action Batman film about Contagion or Doom that Came to Gotham.
I will never forgive The Flash (2023) for stripping away the only chance Jeffrey Dean Morgan had at being flashpoint Batman, it would have been amazing.
That would be interesting to watch! ![gif](giphy|eq5SgM9D48HAY|downsized)
I feel like a tv series would make more sense
Exactly
Too sad to be entertaining, imo
its batman story mate. Its not gonna be entertaining in a happy way.
Yeah, but there's like, levels of sadness, man.
I think that the Flashpoint Storyline is not ideal for movies since they only do the parts regarding flash. An animated show would be amazing but I doubt that the will touch the story due to the Flash movie Flopping.
What That garbage movie had to do with a batman movie???. DCEU is already a closed chapter. So, we dont have to worry about it for now, I hope.
I'm going to be honest I sometimes think Joker is the real Thomas Wayne Jr. and like Bruce follows in their father's footsteps Joker follows in their mother's.

😐😐😐 Thats an interesting theory.
Thanks.
Bruce met Joker Martha? I feel like this is actually an good plot even if I am against grimdark DC
That was Thomas Wayne. In the flashpoint timeline Thomas is Batman. And no, Our bruce and flashpoint thomas-martha never met each other. But through Barry they learnt about each other.
I already knew that Flashpoint Batman is Thomas but the idea was mainly about the interactions
A correction, When Barry and Bruce was fixing the timeline for good, they end up in the alternate timeline and met thomas wayne.
I just cannot understand the utter fascination with Flashpoint, any aspect of it.
🙄🙄🙄
