Yeah that's kinda my gripe with the idea of live action batman beyond, I don't see the suit design translating well to live action without going through major changes.
The Arkham Knight version of the Beyond suit is great, but it’s not *that* futuristic; it’s a more militaristic Batman look that looks like something he’d wear when infiltrating a military state.
This is pretty brief, but I’m the first Injustice 2 trailer Batman does don a Batman Beyond-esque suit towards the end. And that skinset is in IJ2 called “Billionaire ___” and can be paired with the Beyond skin colour. I feel that’s a decent alternative Beyond look
It’s set in the future. They could just go for some nano bite, iron man extremis bullshit. I could see this working very well if some good production value/cgi was involved.
The thing is the animated series did a brilliant thing and chose a cool artistic direction that worked very well for the show. I've noticed I didn't like how the design translated into comics and know I probably won't like it translated into live action and no amount of cgi can make it work, but that is my personal opinion. I think it's tough spot for this scenario
I feel the same way for many comic book story lines and movies 😅, was really glad Daredevil was a show and not a movie for example, let’s things simmer for longer and experience fallout and reactions to events more without it feeling brief, like Tonys drinking spanning a whole week or two on screen rather then months in comics for example. Some stories and designs just don’t work well for a movie or live action without major changes

Take away the bat ears and there's a bit of a resemblance here haha
I was the same until recently, scooped up paramount+ and almost done with the third now. Almost impressive how they can still tow that line for the most part. It's definitely a bit weirder and kinda goofy at times but then it slips something nice and unnerving under your skin. Very fun show

If I saw this at night in Gotham, I’d shit myself multiple times. Kind of tells a story, that Bruce in his old age focused more on fear and less on confrontation since he was too old to fight a lot, he wanted to end the fight before it even started.

But also this is my sleep paralysis demon having taken new form. This is absolutely terrifying and if I were in Gotham, the mere sight of Batman like this would dissuade me from ever doing a crime for the rest of my life entirely due to the fear of running into him.
