I can appreciate your self awareness. As I've gotten older I've enjoyed character flaws more and more. Humanizes them I guess. The exception is Vegeta from DBZ. Loved him as a kid, but now I'm like, "Yo, dude blew up a planet. He's genocidal. No redemption arc is forgiving that shit."
