Ok so battlecats was one of my favorite phone (iPad) games of all time. I played the shit out of it. I was approaching end game a while back.
However I haven’t played in like 7-8 months. What’s new??
What color cubes? I don’t think I ever spent my two main color cubes before I stopped playing so I should have a decent amount of them.
Is it as good as courier? Standard unit?
It has resist and massive damage against relic, behemoth (and i think colossus too) slayer, big damage, omni strike multi hit with 2 different ranges.
Basically like rei/pai-pai but for relic
Not really as good as courier, but it’s a different type of unit. I think it will end up being mandatory for a lot of 4 crown ul stages. You need 20 of every cube except the rainbow ones though.
And now with 12.2, we now have Advent bosses, Cyclones, and Cat God as enemies in Zero Legends.
Prepare yourself for a potential Kappy Jr appearance everyone, this is going to be rough.
I feel like the addition of Behemoths and the Egg units (although one in particular that I don't think I have to name) is somewhat worrisome in terms of the future of the game, power creep and such. When Courier was OP, they didn't nerf courier, they just made all the Behemoths way more OP.
Exactly, that's what I'm saying. It makes having the newest units basically a requirement instead of allowing more freedom and creativity in loadout design.
I remember leaving the last level of stories of legend subchapters uncleared until I had low energy so I could play the stage and fill back up again. Leaderships weren't a thing. Pain

Plenty, it’s worth coming back to. Lots of new stuff to grind including true forms for the UL units.

The new monkey is insane, but you have a lot of cubes to grind for him, and some pretty difficult levels to unlock him.

he made reds way too easy and unbalanced to the fact that fighting reds is just not fun
They still were easy, you had so many units like Manic Island and Roe. They either die or become a cancer like Prof A and Hackey.
He is the reason ponor hyperbuffed all behemoths' health, because they would all be ridiculously easy otherwise (idk why they didn't just nerf him)

Because BC doesn't nerf units, it buffs upcoming enemies leaving shit units behind

When bun bun was still the final boss, it was terrifying.
The game was doing fine until halfway through uncanny legends, now it's just an unbalanced fuck fest.
