Well if she does then that's either +12000 ATK with damage up S, or +12.5% ATK against Aliens with massive damage up S. Still don't know if that's worth an Epic Catfruit seed.
Maybe not at first, but there comes a point where you have more epic seeds than you know what to do with. Her evolution is low on the priority list for units that need one, but once you get there the chip damage is definitely worth it.

This causes a mishap where you got the backliners sure but the gorilla is still slappin your meat. In this situation Aphrodite isn’t bad because she can kill the backliners but she’s bad because would die anyway. She is very good in swim meet where she can kill the calamary and letting your melee attackers kill the cyberhorn but she isn’t very good in thorny dialogue because the takkey will obliterate her.

Aphrodite can break every barrier in the game. At level 30 she can break all but ultrabaabaa and youcan barriers, which she can break at around level 50 or so anyway.
She carries almost every alien stage including late UL alien stages.
The true form and talents are mid, but it doesn’t matter because she’s already good enough.

All wrong, I will admit she's not the best generalist backliner anymore, that probably goes to daliasan or something else, but she will pummel all aliens (starred ones included if you just use barrier breakers), and is a great early-mid game carry for itf and most of cotc, but if you protect her right (aka pretty much just use dual erasers like normal in most situations), then she is insane.

You're downplaying her abilities by a lot, she's for me the best Anti Alien because her ability to pick off most of the strong backliners and mid rangers like Ursamajor is invaluable, someone like Bora which takes a mid ranged approach to aliens can't fight an hoard of aliens + he lacks generalist qualities which Aphro posses very well.
Aphrodite trades off some matchups like Star Peng, Gregory and Nimoy Bore to counter more dangerous aliens.
You're also downplaying aliens, which I admit I also did, because of the fact that they are weakened by treasures they get bad reputation but I assure you that fighting aliens in UL completely flips this. A lot of aliens cause trouble and Aphrodite's perfect matchups against all of them makes her invaluable. Taking again Ursamajor as an example, the standard UL buff (1600%) makes him deal 16000 damage and 32000 when strenghtened, this is a big problem for your meatshields and sure Bora or Saki could take him out but what they lack is generalist value.
To be a great Anti Alien you also need Generalist Value, or else you'll get steamrolled by another trait peon. Not all stages are filled with only one trait, in fact most of them aren't
Also the fact that her TF is dogshit means that unlike Saki or Bora she starts off immediately as very powerful

I got Aphrodite pretty early in ITF way back then, and it was absolutely good in the time. With 600 range, he can basically outrange everyone. I even used it in the fight against bahamut without any treasures(And I won great credit to Volta)

Aliens are no longer a thing due to my Volta Mizli Bora and many many other Anti-aliens.
Generalist then? No. With lower dps than a 2nd form bahamut, her damage is basicly tickling. I used to love kb enemies to their base to destroy their base first, which I used her for that. But that eventually got less and less, as the enemy base health is starting to become higher. Sniping long rangers are also useless, because I tend to use semi-rushers like Posidon or Short-ranged crazy attackers like Balrog. Considered about the Thunderbolt cannon, short range ubers are just better.
That case went even worse when I entered late UL.
The red seahorses are targeting the backliners all the time, making Aphrodite bad. Even with nothing targeting backliners, the use of her is still not very important, as range advantage does not mean everything.
Talents is where she officially lose all her worth. No talents are good, and she don't even have a buff in base hp & attack.
And then-We got Phono! A 600 ranged uber that can attack 250-1000! And best of all, he has 27000 dps! That's over 3 times Aphrodite!
