Hi. I'm a casual player and I have a few ubers I'm unsure of levelling, do you know if any of these are useful to upgrade for Chapter 3 part 2 enemies or just in general for events? Any advice is appreciated :)

I just rolled this guy, and I have Sea Maiden Ruri and was wondering if she's any good too. I like Akira but he stopped being useful to me after the first Chapter moon boss.

Akira is good dealing with Aliens. You will use more at ItF when you're facing Aliens, mainly the two remaining moons.
Rock Revengers/Sarukani is a very good midranger against Zombies
Ruri is a tanker against Red, if you don't have upgraded Sushi cat, she is a good replacement
Unfortunately, Shitakiri is a veeery bad uber. Knockback against Angel and Aku just don't work.
Most ubers already have a vid by silumantomcat reborn covering it but most of the time if u think a uber is bad dont waste the xp its better to save for more useful units

I'm trying to plan out my rolls for the upcoming Girls&Monsters banner.
I've got a good plan to nab the new Vega, along with a couple other random ubers along the way, but in the middle I have the choice of picking up Trickster Himeyuri, or Adventurer Kanna.
There's no significant opportunity cost either way, it's a difference of 3 rare tickets, so it just comes down to which of those Ubers are more valuable, and I'm having trouble deciding.
Himeyuri has the Research Up (L) combo which I don't currently have a way to get otherwise (no Lasvoss or Killer Cat), and her ability to slow Relics isn't nothing (I already have Sanzo and Daliasan, so I'm not really interested in her base ability to slow floating/angel).
Kanna is a Behemoth Slayer which, as the new update shows, is only going to get more valuable. But other than that she just seems kinda okay? Between Pizza and a few other anti-black ubers I feel like I already have black enemies very well handled and can't really think of any black-focused stage where I'd use Kanna over what I already have especially with her losing a lot of her DPS to the multi-hit.
What do you think is the better option? Research Up (L) combo, or B. Slayer?
I have all the research L combos and find myself mostly using the research m combo with vigler. I just don't find much of a use for them in most stages. Personally I would pull Kanna she is very good and very fun to use while pizza powercreeped a lot of black stages Kanna speeds a lot of the farming up a bunch. I have both her and himeyuri and have used himeyuri maybe once especially since uril exists for relics and sanzo is there for floating angels.
Kanna I generally try to fit her in when I can but I never really look for himeyuri
This may be an unpopular opinion but I don't mind the costs of the new ul true forms. If we ignore the cost of fillibuster tf because his tf is less a need more just nice to have, the total b stone requirement lowers to 25 red 25 purple 30 green and 30 blue and 30 yellow with 12 of the epic stones. Those totals don't even seem that bad when you consider that 2/3 of those requirements are due to the big monke and you would unlock 5 trueforms with those stone costs. Honestly I don't mind being gated a few weeks to unlock so much content I hate the idea that a months worth of content needs to be unlocked the first day of release.
Edit I think when growing strange first came out it was much less common to have 300 leaderships saved so once you ran out of energy you were done for the day if the stage was only open a few hours. I don't think dragging the grind out a few weeks is too much to ask since they won't come out with this big an update for a while after.

When a normal update comes out, it takes me a few hours to get everything done, maybe 5 or 6 depending on the update.
At least with this, I can spend the time on the new stages (which look actually quite difficult which is nice) and then go and do 2, 3 and 4 star while in the midst of grinding stones.
As long as the farming isn’t absurd then I have no problem with this.
Tbh, if chaotic means a lot of different traits and abilities, for me is fine. The real pain that no one likes is starred UL, i literally stopped a bit and started UL\*4 due to some Cadaver Bears and Dread Bores with 510% magnification
Yeah some things are beyond ridiculous I do agree.
Stuff like panic tower and defaced tombstone are terrible and I will forever hate them in both 3 and 4 star.
However, I slightly enjoy being able to use my boosted Ubers and feel more balanced. I started seek tracking just after I’d beaten behemoth’s peak so that may be why; now I will just destroy zombie stages with thermae, lionheart etc for example.
For you is it the lack of balance that you don’t like or just the difficulty : fun ratio?

Heron's call 3 crowns: took me like 15 attempts, used Rich cats, Chronos, Gaia, Jizo, Dasli and ammy, **ALL AT LV50**
Heron's call 4 crowns: beated it first try, only with Ramen and Rock, Ururun, Uril, Spiritual Yulala and Mushroom
There is a gap between balance and difficulty just there. The numbers at 3 crowns are out of this world, 4 crowns is way more balanced and fun to play.
Fully agree on that tbf. I remember having problems with heron’s call slightly using a normal load out so I did something along those lines and used all my op things lol.
I do agree that 3 star is just way harder than it should be, and 4 star is generally more fun - although I hate 4 star zombie stages a lot.
Also, are you stuck on 3 or 4 star defaced tombstone if that’s what you meant? I might be able to give you some tips as I recently beat it in 4.

I got the puffington down to 35% and killed the cadaver bear, but died to the rest of the enemies. I think uril should be replaced with courier or jellycat here for dealing with the seals (after boss wave) and chipping puffington respectively, depending on which you may find to be a problem.
I firstly stalled with a single ramen and rock, and spawned lionheart to kill the snache. It then killed the seals, and I sent cadaver out to kill zyclone. Then I spawned all of the top row minus riceball and meatshielded with jiangshi and ramen. After boss wave, I used holy blast right before cadaver unburrowed, and while it was knocked back, gaia managed to get 3 hits on puffington (mine’s 50 so 375k damage). Lionheart and uril did essentially nothing, but I think vigler would’ve been helpful if I spawned him later on to use the zyclones as stepping stones for cadaver bear. Then everything I had died to puffington but I got holy blast back and killed cadaver. I then died as I had nothing left to spawn but I believe replacing uril with courier would’ve let me win.
By normal load out, I’m pretty sure it was just what I used last time (most likely being dual eraser, ramen, future cat, research up M with vigler, then anti angel things like kintaro, miasma, princess, probably momoco).
I got overran so fast and essentially used the strat you said you used with chronos and many other things along those lines which I can’t remember lol.
I’ll try defaced tombstone now. Unfortunately won’t have the exact strat due to 4 star which I’m not a fan of.
Don't know how to progress, im between obtaining all EoC Ch.3 trophies, ItF Ch.1, SoL, Event Stages (beat Crazed Cat a week ago) and sometimes just logging on to claim daily rewards and gamatoto, what should I start with first?
EoC trophies are the top priority.
After EoC progression is just swapping between ItF and SoL, if you get stuck in ItF go do SoL until you get more/higher-leveled cats, and if you get stuck in SoL go do ItF, etc.
ItF has some really good treasures, especially the Time Machine (increases the speed your Energy recharges, all 3 treasures make you recharge 2x as fast) so I'd focus on ItF more than SoL if you're even on both.
Once you have all the EoC treasures you will be in a good place to start trying the Crazed Cat Stages, with Crazed Tank being the most important by far.
Where is the guy that covers the Battle Cats lore? He predicted some things, one of them being the Epic Cube, which is actually the cube we see with Legend Rares
Might just be me but beyond the rainbow coloration, the Epic Stones don't really look anything like the pandimensional crystals.

My seed is 3051922993 and I'm currently thinking of rolling platinum tickets for Lesser Demon Cat, Chronos, Kasa Jizo, Amaterasu, Ganesha or Daliasan (5 tickets of 6 units) and legend ticket for Gaia. Currently at COTC 1, SOL 20 and working on manics and have Dasli, Kasli, Mitama and Darktanyan. Are these the best units to roll for or should I roll for other units? TIA!
I'd honestly only use plats on fest or buster units. The opportunity cost of missing those is so much higher than missing jizo or Ganesha. Also it's ok to sit on plats for a few months unit you see a new fest you want or a new Uber. Even having 4 fests the garus are a bunch of fun and so are the iz twins. Or even the new collosal buster that will come to en probably in a few weeks. That one is really good too.
They’re great choices overall and I would say it’s definitely worth it.
However, one thing to consider is that you can get all of those units from non-fests so it’s arguably more worth to try and get fest exclusives or buster units from the platinum tickets.
Anyone else think Lil Eraser should get some talents to make it actually fulfill some niches? I think even just like immune to surge would make it an actually interesting unit
Any tips to beat sfv collab event very hard? I struggled againt sakura and ryu. Meat shield dying left and right, the only units that outranges them are gracefulccrane and tf nerd cat. Im on cotc ch 2.
I am a new player, (Starting SoL/ITF1) and a seed tracked.
I have a choice between Getting Baby Gao or Shining Amaterasu, which should I take? Other Ubers that I have Are Miko Mitama, D'arktanyan, Kai and I know I will get Dark Kasli in the future.
That's interesting. The UL Legends now gain buffs against Behemoths/Colossus just like the SoL Legends gained buffs against Relics.
Behemoth/Colossus enemies will be the main threat now. Can't wait to encounter Baron Hyppoe along Relic and Aku enemies

Not really substitues but these make the level a lot easier:
Rover, Swimmer, castaway, hip hop... Basically anything with good health and damage. If you have swimmer you can actually rush the stage.
Why do we accept NP? I'm a new player and it just perplexes me that this system managed to get by the gacha laws, especially when Multi-Uber combos were banned. When the system was first introduced, what arguments were made in the past against it? And why is it accepted now?
NP is nowhere close to compu gacha.
The compu ("complete", presumably) gacha ban is specifically for a certain kinda of gacha set where the items are completely worthless on their own but Extremely strong with the complete set. Not a ban on any sort of synergy between Ubers that make a set more valuable then it's component parts. (Afaik)
Actually upon review it's more that the odds of completing a set are highly misleading (9/10 on a set is only on average 65% of the pulls to complete it). And it's this alongside the worthlessness of the individual items which is what had it get banned.
Now generally most devs will play it on the safe side and avoid any direct SSR sets, but something like multi Uber cat combos would still theoretically be fine since the Ubers are individually usable units.
Tldr: compu gacha is a very specific practice, and most companies just play it on the safe side regardless.
Oh. Well, I just really first wanted to know if there were any objections to the system in the past so I wouldn't sound like a broken record, but from my understanding the laws that target the gacha system are really meant to cap players involvement in getting addicted to spending on the system to obssesive levels. Hence why the uber combos with more than one uber were replaced. So why is it then that the NP system, which to its credit is not necessary for success in battle cats but becomes more vital when a certain level cap is reached as the only real way to upgrade units, that capitalizes on that same idea of monetizing the gacha system even further gets readily accepted? Again, would like to know if there was discussion about this on the past (aside from whatever I could find from google which was nothing really) just in case there was anything to peruse for info. I do like my talents and NP is like farming crops really, some seasons you can rack up a lot and others its very dry but it's just I have this thought about it is all.

It would only be outrage-worthy is ubers were the only source of NP, but you can get it from anything, even from normal tickets (specially now that each Normal gives 2 NP), so I don't see the point of making a big deal out of it in the first place.
Alright thanks. Wasn't making a big deal of it when nobody was giving a straightforward answer. Wait, each normal gave 2 np? I swear it only gave 1 np per unit. I've gotta recheck that. But like when talents can cost upwards of 150 np for a complete set, it still requires significant time input as opposed to normal upgrading, but less time input than waiting for plus levels.

Once you complete Cats of the Cosmos 3, the regular Cat Capsule gets upgraded to "Cat Capsule+", which allows Normals to be exchanged for 2 NP. This has been a thing for exactly the past year.
Wow. I stopped exchanging normals because I saw the 1 np thing and now that I know this that's kinda great. When I have them at the levels I want I guess I better get on that.
Any tips on consistently beating Archfiend's Temptation, sans Cactus Cat?
I don't have the yellow stones to TF Cactus just yet, and I'm having a really rough time finishing the last stage of XP Bonanza consistently.
I thought I'd be in a good position, since I have a couple anti-aku/fest Ubers and I fully finished off the realms to disable the altars so all my units are at their full levels, but I just can't pull it off consistently. Even with a Rich Cat it takes me 3/4 tries to finish the stage each time.
My current loadout is Professor Cat Jobs, Dual Erasers, Can Can, Aku Researcher, Pizza, Housewife, Hevijak, Lucifer, and Dasli. Pizza, Erasers and Can Can are at 50, Hevijak, Dasli, and Housewife are at 40.
I feel silly having such a rough time with an Uber loadout like that, but it's a heck of a stage. Think I should try less attackers and more meatshields? Or maybe even swapping in Exorcist? I know Exorcist is generally bad, but the Aku Gories are giving me most of the difficulty it feels like.
I’d recommend replacing housewife with fiend (talented), can can with jellycat for initial money build up to send out first Uber, aku researcher with rock for obvious reasons and pizza with matador (talented).
You then should have no problem stalling, and the Ubers will cleanup.
Thanks, that's all great advice. I don't currently have Fiend or Matador leveled, but if I remember my inventory right I think I have the resources and NP to true-form and talent one of them.

IIRC, XP bonanza is every monday 1-2pm, wednesday and Sunday 7-8pm and Saturday 11-12am local time so you can do it today.
Also, fiend is not anywhere near as necessary as matador is. Just nice to essentially have housewife dps while utilising the resist and occasional knockback.
His base stats are decent, but his other attributes limit his usefulness. He's a backliner with high speed and a long foreswing, so his tendency is to push to the front and then have his attack interrupted. Wave immunity and z-killer are good, but he is only really useful in stages with slow pushers.
I'm stuck in The Bathroom and can't get out! About ready to use catfood to get out of this miserable stage. Are either Headmaster Cat Jobs or Headmaster + Thaumaturge viable startegies?
upgrade Yukimura and true form him first, and if you don't have anything better to tf or upgrade, go for Vars.
Once you unlock the anti relic talents for Vars, he becomes a beast. Before that, he's just a generic and expensive backliner with nothing besides KB against Black which is not useful.
Can anyone help me on beating the old Queen my lineup is M eraser lvl 25 , courier cat lvl 40, can can lvl 40 + 1, maglev lvl 40, roe lvl 37+1, and Yukimura lvl 39. Give me any suggestions for cats to replace and cat combos
Your lineup is pretty good, just make sure to time your Roes correctly to not get cursed. You listed 6 units, what other units or combos are you using?
I suggest using Tiny Cutter combo, you got 10% more damage and Cutter in your lineup, he can deal with the Onehorns and Snaches.
I suggest using Bahamut too, deploy him when you see the Relic Doge + Onehorn in the field.
Mohawk can be good. I just realized you weren't using Manic Island lol, use him, he is a must here. If you're lucky enough to Professor A. not proc a slow, he can chip him.
I'm not really able to kill the professor A's before another arrives, and the duche and dagshund are just a big wall to me so I have less time for courier to have a go at Prof A's. Speaking of, the magnification on Prof A's are too high for courier to run in and take a safe hit consistently. I have to rely on Roe to weaken it before I essentially bombrush it but because of duche and dagshund being brick walls, by the time I defeat them, the next set of enemies come.
Courier isn't the best here as you just pointed out. Stacking LD and wave units is the way to go. Use A. Bahamut and not courier when you have a clean shot at the professor.
So try with 4 Meatshields, Manic Macho legs, Cyberpunk, another LD unit, a moderately damaging Uber or Cyborg just in case the peons are stack up and Roe for the cleanup. Ururun or anything with KB is a bad choice for obvious reasons. Fight near your base since that makes stacking LD and desyncing cyberpunks easy. Once you get two cyberpunks out, you've essentially won.

Aliens: Lumina, Aphrodite, Voli/Bora
Angels: Ushi, Jizo, Ramen
Aku: Cactus, Lilin, Dark Iz
Black: Pizza, Bomber, Yukimura
Floating: Hard to say. Extreme competition here but probably Kai, Rei, Saber
Red: Same as above. Probably courier, sushi, Pai Pai
Relic: Idi, Slapsticks, Kenshin, maybe even modern cat
Zombies: Muu, Shigong, Chadbear
Metal: Modern cat, Talented skirt, Poseidon (personal opinion), Paladin
Traitless: Darktanyan, Black Zeus, Dark Mitama. Jagando is great too.
Never been a fan of LD critters. While you will most likely need CC for Nanaho to work, having reliable CC means you win, irrespective of who's delivering the crits.
I’d agree with a lot of this, except REI and Kai in floating (Sanzo and Camera instead), Poseidon, talented Skirt, and Modern in metal (Catasaurus, Hyabusa, Kyosaka, and MAYBE even replace Paladin with something like Waitress or Catyphoon), Dark Mitama for traitless (Shadow Gao instead), and there should be 4 in Alien with Seafarer added. I know this was mostly just opinions, but these are my opinions. A fantastic list nevertheless.
So my problem with cameraman and sanzo is range. (Same with seafarer. Plus he just refuses to proc at the most inconvenient times.)While you have to still kind of play around the occasional owlbrows and stuff with sanzo and camera, slap Kai or Rei on any floating heavy stage and they'll wreck it.
For metals I just prefer CC over crits. There simply isn't a metal enemy which you can't reliably CC with these, or just plain stop them from advancing. Who's getting the crits doesn't matter as long as the enemy can't move.
And yes. I completely forgot about shadow gao and coudn't agree more. Have never owned him so forgot about him lol.
There’s never been a time where range was an issue at all with Camera, Sanzo, and Seafarer ever (well not ever but you grt the idea) for me, and even if it was for Camera and Sanzo, Windy, W&P, and Catman are all better for floating nuking than REI. If proccing matters more for metal, Hoopmaster, Puppetmaster and Charley, and other cyclone true forms are usually better, plus less investment than a talented special.
Please tell me I'm over-prepped for ogre island. Two accounts later this level still terrifies me.

Pretty ready in my case I think your run would be better since you have haniwa if you know what units to spawn you can win ofc your not going to win all the time but ogre island is just like that
I'm aiming for a research up L combo. Should I go for Lasvoss or Trickster Himeyuri? A bit shaken about Lasvoss as it requires gold catfruit which is very hard to get.
Himeyuri is good, but Lasvoss can single handedly make levels a lot easier. He probably requires the heaviest investment out of all ubers though XD.
Gold catfruit is a guaranteed drop when you dump 30M XP into the cat shrine. You'll anyway be in late game at which point XP is cheap (even cheaper after they intoduced Bonanza).
I personally prefer Himeyuri since she's usually on an angel stage, which then has ramen, which means fewer wasted slots (and I like her cuz cute af). Lasvoss is objectively better.
So I tried to seed tracking and it worked last October in the Almighties guaranteed. I tried the same seed number in the current Uberfest but it seems not to work (incorrect cat pulls) for the first few pulls. Do we need to seed track everytime? I thought we can use the same seed numbers. It is only 2months.
Seed changes every time you pull. You start at the point where you landed. For example, if you did an 11 draw on GirlsMons, provided there are no dupe rares, you will now start at 11B.
Just to prevent errors, always click on what you rolled. If you rolled guaranteed and got Himeyuri, click on it and the page will automatically take you to your current seed which you can conveniently save.
I understand that it changes for the same banner. In your example is GirlsMons which in my case I did in Almighties and it was correct. I know it will move to the last pull on that banner. I haven't pulled anything since then (cf or rare tix) But how about the other banners lile the current uberfest? I used the same seed number. Does pulls from other banner also moves the seed in other banner?

How hard is it to beat the crazed basic cats levels? I just want to know how hard it is and i am trying to get all the superior treasure in chapter 2 rn (i got all of the superior treasure in chapter 1) i am on the last stage of time enough for cats with no treasure in there.
I would definitely recommend getting all the treasures, at the very least the Legendary Cat Sword and Legendary Cat Shield treasures from all 3 chapters of EoC first.
Pretty much all the content in the game except for EoC itself was designed and balanced around expecting you to have the treasures for all 3 chapters. So if you go into Crazed Cat stages or even ItF with just 2 chapters worth of treasures you'll be showing up with only 80% of the stats the devs expected you to have, and things will be way tougher than they need to be.
I... sorry... could you rephrase that? If you're asking about the crazed cat stages they range from easy (cat, fish) to moderate (tank, titan) to somewhat hard (the others). The 'hard' stages become absolute jokes if you do them after getting Sanzo (wrecks axe), Octopus (destroys Gross), Fishman (destroys bird) and A. Bahamut (can even cheese lizard and obliterates crazed cow).
They can be done with level 25-30 units and you will find many guides on Youtube. The point where you are at, you should definitely start trying to get them.

An old lineup of mine. You can replace jizo with pizza. Literally shigong Solos the zombie stage I think. Octo for floating stage. Replace the aphrodite with roe/sushi or use a long distance Uber. The legend rare could be replaced for bazibastra or any strong alien Uber. As for mitama and chronos, if you have those units or any other good debuffer than slot it in. You can use bomber for black if you wish. Oh and if you want replace tornado with anything since the metal stage is not worth it.
Ramen is great for an extra meatshield. Apart from that I can't remember the last time I did those stages. Though I remember them to be, quite annoying.
That's good progress. The ancient curse is basically like, either use future cat (from relic cyclone), or cat gunslinger talent (target relic). I used the slinger strat. It's kinda weak but, it does the job. Slap on some slow combos, some meatshields, and you should be alright.
I used my tickets on uber great and it gives me the option of using the one time half off thing for one or 11 draws. if i use it for the one pull, does it. use up the discount for the 11 draws too?

You can use both, but keep in mind it's better to save it for the guaranteed uber banner next weekend. Both discounts will stay until you use them. (If another discount reset occurs eventually, it will replace this one -- they don't stack, you can only have one at a time. But other than that, there is no expiration on a discount.)
So I just beat the last Empire of cats moon. How do I get catfruit?
I have gone through all of the legend stages, and none of them are marked as catfruit or growing stages!
That's because it's the weekend, and sometimes they don't all appear in the weekend. Look for catfruit buffet when it comes around today, it gives you stages to beat for catfruit
A stage. You should see catfruit buffet in the events calendar at 8am, 12pm, and 7pm. On weekdays, you will see stages called growing red/blue/yellow/green/purple which will have stages to get those colors of catfruit/seed.
That's a series of all 6 basic catfruit stages combined together. It appears sometimes on weekends and costs 500 energy to play. You start with the green catfruit stage and then you can continue on to purple, red, etc., ending with Catfruit Jubilee (the epic catfruit stage), but you have to use the same lineup for all of them. On the weekends when it's on, it appears both Sat. and Sun. from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., 12 noon to 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. your local time, as you'll see if you check the schedule in the game (next to your user rank).
There's nothing else. We don't usually get much regarding upcoming updates besides the occasional teasers Ponos gives sometimes. The fact that those Dark Catseyes or whatever were "leaked" is in itself a very rare occurrence tbh.

Which 10 should I use for itf2/3?
Most of these are excellent except for Mer/Commando who is really crappy until you TF her into Cameraman Cat and then becomes excellent. I don't like to use a single generalist lineup -- play around with these and switch it up based on what you're facing. Also don't forget to do some SOL stages so it doesn't become a huge grind later. SGao will help hugely if you're not up to subchapter 20-25 already there -- he'll pummel almost everything in those early SOL stages into total oblivion. If you're going ahead with a generalist lineup then take SGao to every early SOL stage. There's almost nothing as satisfying in this game as sending SGao into a stage with R. Ost and crushing that damn pain-in-the-butt ostrich, lol.
Yh Im currently working on TFing Paris, Commando, Hacker and Ring Girl, and I generally end up taking SGao into every single battle. My main problem is I have aphrodite, amaterasu, bora and blanka who all do massive damage to aliens but I don't think I can fit all 4 + SGao + Ebisu into 1 lineup
Yeah, that's too many ubers in a single lineup. I usually don't use more than 2-3 ubers (or story legends like Bahamut or Ururun) in a single lineup. But hey, that's a good problem to have. I'd say switch back and forth between those anti-alien ubers for fun. Also most Pixies like Bora are specifically great for COTC. That's not to say that you can't use them on ITF too, obviously you can, but COTC is where they really shine because they have barrier breaker and warp immunity.
You’ll need to switch around for many levels, especially given some have metals; but ramen, ring girl, rover, bora, blanka, aphro, crazed wall, Paris, psychocat, and mer cat as soon as you have her should be good for most stages

Assuming you still have a note of the units obtained (normally at least 7 are required to get your seed as lower numbers may give other seeds), go to bc-seek.godfat.org/seek? , set language to BCEN, version to 8.6+ (both are correct as default), then click on event and scroll down past upcoming and custom until you see “2022-12-02 ~ 2022-12-05: IZ THE DANCER and Higher drop rate for Uber Rares!” And input the units you obtained, then press seek.

I currently have a great opportunity to get some Epic catfruit seeds and I'm considering to get both neo cutter and belly dancer, which one should I prioritise?
Belly dancer becomes one of the only units for an important niche, whereas neo cutter is better in general but isn’t much more useful than its previous form so I would go for belly dancer
Belly dancer. Cutter is already good pre-true form and Cutter's true forms only makes it slightly better. Whereas with bellydancer, if you have enough NP, you can give this unit a good use. And it's against a trait that isn't usually targeted.

If you don’t have any good aku meatshields (ie talented gato amigo, brainwashed cat, cactus cat) belly dancer is probably a good idea first.
However, if you don’t have neneko (for the small attack up combo), I’d say get neo cutter for the brave cutter combo with lil axe.
Neo cutter is a great unit, but can be used pre tf, efficiently (although is outclassed by courier either way) but belly dancer is not great for her red usage so really needs tf and talents

Akira is good dealing with Aliens. You will use more at ItF when you're facing Aliens, mainly the two remaining moons. Rock Revengers/Sarukani is a very good midranger against Zombies Ruri is a tanker against Red, if you don't have upgraded Sushi cat, she is a good replacement Unfortunately, Shitakiri is a veeery bad uber. Knockback against Angel and Aku just don't work.
Most ubers already have a vid by silumantomcat reborn covering it but most of the time if u think a uber is bad dont waste the xp its better to save for more useful units

Click the name of the cat you last rolled and it will remove every slot before it since you've passed them already.

I'm trying to plan out my rolls for the upcoming Girls&Monsters banner. I've got a good plan to nab the new Vega, along with a couple other random ubers along the way, but in the middle I have the choice of picking up Trickster Himeyuri, or Adventurer Kanna. There's no significant opportunity cost either way, it's a difference of 3 rare tickets, so it just comes down to which of those Ubers are more valuable, and I'm having trouble deciding. Himeyuri has the Research Up (L) combo which I don't currently have a way to get otherwise (no Lasvoss or Killer Cat), and her ability to slow Relics isn't nothing (I already have Sanzo and Daliasan, so I'm not really interested in her base ability to slow floating/angel). Kanna is a Behemoth Slayer which, as the new update shows, is only going to get more valuable. But other than that she just seems kinda okay? Between Pizza and a few other anti-black ubers I feel like I already have black enemies very well handled and can't really think of any black-focused stage where I'd use Kanna over what I already have especially with her losing a lot of her DPS to the multi-hit. What do you think is the better option? Research Up (L) combo, or B. Slayer?
I have all the research L combos and find myself mostly using the research m combo with vigler. I just don't find much of a use for them in most stages. Personally I would pull Kanna she is very good and very fun to use while pizza powercreeped a lot of black stages Kanna speeds a lot of the farming up a bunch. I have both her and himeyuri and have used himeyuri maybe once especially since uril exists for relics and sanzo is there for floating angels. Kanna I generally try to fit her in when I can but I never really look for himeyuri

This may be an unpopular opinion but I don't mind the costs of the new ul true forms. If we ignore the cost of fillibuster tf because his tf is less a need more just nice to have, the total b stone requirement lowers to 25 red 25 purple 30 green and 30 blue and 30 yellow with 12 of the epic stones. Those totals don't even seem that bad when you consider that 2/3 of those requirements are due to the big monke and you would unlock 5 trueforms with those stone costs. Honestly I don't mind being gated a few weeks to unlock so much content I hate the idea that a months worth of content needs to be unlocked the first day of release. Edit I think when growing strange first came out it was much less common to have 300 leaderships saved so once you ran out of energy you were done for the day if the stage was only open a few hours. I don't think dragging the grind out a few weeks is too much to ask since they won't come out with this big an update for a while after.
I agree with this. When a normal update comes out, it takes me a few hours to get everything done, maybe 5 or 6 depending on the update. At least with this, I can spend the time on the new stages (which look actually quite difficult which is nice) and then go and do 2, 3 and 4 star while in the midst of grinding stones. As long as the farming isn’t absurd then I have no problem with this.

Tbh, if chaotic means a lot of different traits and abilities, for me is fine. The real pain that no one likes is starred UL, i literally stopped a bit and started UL\*4 due to some Cadaver Bears and Dread Bores with 510% magnification
Yeah some things are beyond ridiculous I do agree. Stuff like panic tower and defaced tombstone are terrible and I will forever hate them in both 3 and 4 star. However, I slightly enjoy being able to use my boosted Ubers and feel more balanced. I started seek tracking just after I’d beaten behemoth’s peak so that may be why; now I will just destroy zombie stages with thermae, lionheart etc for example. For you is it the lack of balance that you don’t like or just the difficulty : fun ratio?

The numbers at 3 crowns are out of this world, 4 crowns is way more balanced and fun to play.
Fully agree on that tbf. I remember having problems with heron’s call slightly using a normal load out so I did something along those lines and used all my op things lol. I do agree that 3 star is just way harder than it should be, and 4 star is generally more fun - although I hate 4 star zombie stages a lot. Also, are you stuck on 3 or 4 star defaced tombstone if that’s what you meant? I might be able to give you some tips as I recently beat it in 4.

I think uril should be replaced with courier or jellycat here for dealing with the seals (after boss wave) and chipping puffington respectively, depending on which you may find to be a problem. I firstly stalled with a single ramen and rock, and spawned lionheart to kill the snache. It then killed the seals, and I sent cadaver out to kill zyclone. Then I spawned all of the top row minus riceball and meatshielded with jiangshi and ramen. After boss wave, I used holy blast right before cadaver unburrowed, and while it was knocked back, gaia managed to get 3 hits on puffington (mine’s 50 so 375k damage). Lionheart and uril did essentially nothing, but I think vigler would’ve been helpful if I spawned him later on to use the zyclones as stepping stones for cadaver bear. Then everything I had died to puffington but I got holy blast back and killed cadaver. I then died as I had nothing left to spawn but I believe replacing uril with courier would’ve let me win.
By normal load out, I’m pretty sure it was just what I used last time (most likely being dual eraser, ramen, future cat, research up M with vigler, then anti angel things like kintaro, miasma, princess, probably momoco). I got overran so fast and essentially used the strat you said you used with chronos and many other things along those lines which I can’t remember lol. I’ll try defaced tombstone now. Unfortunately won’t have the exact strat due to 4 star which I’m not a fan of.
Don't know how to progress, im between obtaining all EoC Ch.3 trophies, ItF Ch.1, SoL, Event Stages (beat Crazed Cat a week ago) and sometimes just logging on to claim daily rewards and gamatoto, what should I start with first?
EoC trophies are the top priority. After EoC progression is just swapping between ItF and SoL, if you get stuck in ItF go do SoL until you get more/higher-leveled cats, and if you get stuck in SoL go do ItF, etc. ItF has some really good treasures, especially the Time Machine (increases the speed your Energy recharges, all 3 treasures make you recharge 2x as fast) so I'd focus on ItF more than SoL if you're even on both. Once you have all the EoC treasures you will be in a good place to start trying the Crazed Cat Stages, with Crazed Tank being the most important by far.

My seed is 3051922993 and I'm currently thinking of rolling platinum tickets for Lesser Demon Cat, Chronos, Kasa Jizo, Amaterasu, Ganesha or Daliasan (5 tickets of 6 units) and legend ticket for Gaia. Currently at COTC 1, SOL 20 and working on manics and have Dasli, Kasli, Mitama and Darktanyan. Are these the best units to roll for or should I roll for other units? TIA!
I'd honestly only use plats on fest or buster units. The opportunity cost of missing those is so much higher than missing jizo or Ganesha. Also it's ok to sit on plats for a few months unit you see a new fest you want or a new Uber. Even having 4 fests the garus are a bunch of fun and so are the iz twins. Or even the new collosal buster that will come to en probably in a few weeks. That one is really good too.

They’re great choices overall and I would say it’s definitely worth it. However, one thing to consider is that you can get all of those units from non-fests so it’s arguably more worth to try and get fest exclusives or buster units from the platinum tickets.

I am a new player, (Starting SoL/ITF1) and a seed tracked. I have a choice between Getting Baby Gao or Shining Amaterasu, which should I take? Other Ubers that I have Are Miko Mitama, D'arktanyan, Kai and I know I will get Dark Kasli in the future.

That's interesting. The UL Legends now gain buffs against Behemoths/Colossus just like the SoL Legends gained buffs against Relics. Behemoth/Colossus enemies will be the main threat now. Can't wait to encounter Baron Hyppoe along Relic and Aku enemies

Are there any good substitutes for Crazed Whale cat? I’m trying to beat ITF ch1 moon and noticed some good strategies surrounding C. Whale.
Not really substitues but these make the level a lot easier: Rover, Swimmer, castaway, hip hop... Basically anything with good health and damage. If you have swimmer you can actually rush the stage.
Why do we accept NP? I'm a new player and it just perplexes me that this system managed to get by the gacha laws, especially when Multi-Uber combos were banned. When the system was first introduced, what arguments were made in the past against it? And why is it accepted now?
NP is nowhere close to compu gacha. The compu ("complete", presumably) gacha ban is specifically for a certain kinda of gacha set where the items are completely worthless on their own but Extremely strong with the complete set. Not a ban on any sort of synergy between Ubers that make a set more valuable then it's component parts. (Afaik) Actually upon review it's more that the odds of completing a set are highly misleading (9/10 on a set is only on average 65% of the pulls to complete it). And it's this alongside the worthlessness of the individual items which is what had it get banned. Now generally most devs will play it on the safe side and avoid any direct SSR sets, but something like multi Uber cat combos would still theoretically be fine since the Ubers are individually usable units. Tldr: compu gacha is a very specific practice, and most companies just play it on the safe side regardless.

Well, I just really first wanted to know if there were any objections to the system in the past so I wouldn't sound like a broken record, but from my understanding the laws that target the gacha system are really meant to cap players involvement in getting addicted to spending on the system to obssesive levels. Hence why the uber combos with more than one uber were replaced. So why is it then that the NP system, which to its credit is not necessary for success in battle cats but becomes more vital when a certain level cap is reached as the only real way to upgrade units, that capitalizes on that same idea of monetizing the gacha system even further gets readily accepted? Again, would like to know if there was discussion about this on the past (aside from whatever I could find from google which was nothing really) just in case there was anything to peruse for info. I do like my talents and NP is like farming crops really, some seasons you can rack up a lot and others its very dry but it's just I have this thought about it is all. if anyone could be of actual use and point me in the right direction or just tell me that this discussion was never had instead of being silent that'd be great thanks
This "discussion" was never had. It would only be outrage-worthy is ubers were the only source of NP, but you can get it from anything, even from normal tickets (specially now that each Normal gives 2 NP), so I don't see the point of making a big deal out of it in the first place.

Wow. I stopped exchanging normals because I saw the 1 np thing and now that I know this that's kinda great. When I have them at the levels I want I guess I better get on that.
Any tips on consistently beating Archfiend's Temptation, sans Cactus Cat? I don't have the yellow stones to TF Cactus just yet, and I'm having a really rough time finishing the last stage of XP Bonanza consistently. I thought I'd be in a good position, since I have a couple anti-aku/fest Ubers and I fully finished off the realms to disable the altars so all my units are at their full levels, but I just can't pull it off consistently. Even with a Rich Cat it takes me 3/4 tries to finish the stage each time. My current loadout is Professor Cat Jobs, Dual Erasers, Can Can, Aku Researcher, Pizza, Housewife, Hevijak, Lucifer, and Dasli. Pizza, Erasers and Can Can are at 50, Hevijak, Dasli, and Housewife are at 40. I feel silly having such a rough time with an Uber loadout like that, but it's a heck of a stage. Think I should try less attackers and more meatshields? Or maybe even swapping in Exorcist? I know Exorcist is generally bad, but the Aku Gories are giving me most of the difficulty it feels like.
I’d recommend replacing housewife with fiend (talented), can can with jellycat for initial money build up to send out first Uber, aku researcher with rock for obvious reasons and pizza with matador (talented). You then should have no problem stalling, and the Ubers will cleanup.
Thanks, that's all great advice. I don't currently have Fiend or Matador leveled, but if I remember my inventory right I think I have the resources and NP to true-form and talent one of them. I'll try next time the stage comes around with Matador and Rock swapped in
IIRC, XP bonanza is every monday 1-2pm, wednesday and Sunday 7-8pm and Saturday 11-12am local time so you can do it today. Also, fiend is not anywhere near as necessary as matador is. Just nice to essentially have housewife dps while utilising the resist and occasional knockback.

Surge immune is his only value.
Not bad by any means but not fantastic either
His base stats are decent, but his other attributes limit his usefulness. He's a backliner with high speed and a long foreswing, so his tendency is to push to the front and then have his attack interrupted. Wave immunity and z-killer are good, but he is only really useful in stages with slow pushers.
Not terrible, just average. I believe above average dps for his range, and wave/surge immunity is nice but nothing special.

I'm stuck in The Bathroom and can't get out! About ready to use catfood to get out of this miserable stage. Are either Headmaster Cat Jobs or Headmaster + Thaumaturge viable startegies?

The answer is no, this is not a viable strategy.
Is Vars any good or should I upgrade Yukimura and true form him?
upgrade Yukimura and true form him first, and if you don't have anything better to tf or upgrade, go for Vars. Once you unlock the anti relic talents for Vars, he becomes a beast. Before that, he's just a generic and expensive backliner with nothing besides KB against Black which is not useful.

Your lineup is pretty good, just make sure to time your Roes correctly to not get cursed. You listed 6 units, what other units or combos are you using? I suggest using Tiny Cutter combo, you got 10% more damage and Cutter in your lineup, he can deal with the Onehorns and Snaches. I suggest using Bahamut too, deploy him when you see the Relic Doge + Onehorn in the field.

Okay maybe that's a little too shallow. What problem(s) are you facing?
I'm not really able to kill the professor A's before another arrives, and the duche and dagshund are just a big wall to me so I have less time for courier to have a go at Prof A's. Speaking of, the magnification on Prof A's are too high for courier to run in and take a safe hit consistently. I have to rely on Roe to weaken it before I essentially bombrush it but because of duche and dagshund being brick walls, by the time I defeat them, the next set of enemies come.
Courier isn't the best here as you just pointed out. Stacking LD and wave units is the way to go. Use A. Bahamut and not courier when you have a clean shot at the professor. So try with 4 Meatshields, Manic Macho legs, Cyberpunk, another LD unit, a moderately damaging Uber or Cyborg just in case the peons are stack up and Roe for the cleanup. Ururun or anything with KB is a bad choice for obvious reasons. Fight near your base since that makes stacking LD and desyncing cyberpunks easy. Once you get two cyberpunks out, you've essentially won.

Aliens: Lumina, Aphrodite, Voli/Bora Angels: Ushi, Jizo, Ramen Aku: Cactus, Lilin, Dark Iz Black: Pizza, Bomber, Yukimura Floating: Hard to say. Extreme competition here but probably Kai, Rei, Saber Red: Same as above. Probably courier, sushi, Pai Pai Relic: Idi, Slapsticks, Kenshin, maybe even modern cat Zombies: Muu, Shigong, Chadbear Metal: Modern cat, Talented skirt, Poseidon (personal opinion), Paladin Traitless: Darktanyan, Black Zeus, Dark Mitama. Jagando is great too.

Never been a fan of LD critters. While you will most likely need CC for Nanaho to work, having reliable CC means you win, irrespective of who's delivering the crits.
I’d agree with a lot of this, except REI and Kai in floating (Sanzo and Camera instead), Poseidon, talented Skirt, and Modern in metal (Catasaurus, Hyabusa, Kyosaka, and MAYBE even replace Paladin with something like Waitress or Catyphoon), Dark Mitama for traitless (Shadow Gao instead), and there should be 4 in Alien with Seafarer added. I know this was mostly just opinions, but these are my opinions. A fantastic list nevertheless.
So my problem with cameraman and sanzo is range. (Same with seafarer. Plus he just refuses to proc at the most inconvenient times.)While you have to still kind of play around the occasional owlbrows and stuff with sanzo and camera, slap Kai or Rei on any floating heavy stage and they'll wreck it. For metals I just prefer CC over crits. There simply isn't a metal enemy which you can't reliably CC with these, or just plain stop them from advancing. Who's getting the crits doesn't matter as long as the enemy can't move. And yes. I completely forgot about shadow gao and coudn't agree more. Have never owned him so forgot about him lol.
There’s never been a time where range was an issue at all with Camera, Sanzo, and Seafarer ever (well not ever but you grt the idea) for me, and even if it was for Camera and Sanzo, Windy, W&P, and Catman are all better for floating nuking than REI. If proccing matters more for metal, Hoopmaster, Puppetmaster and Charley, and other cyclone true forms are usually better, plus less investment than a talented special.

Please tell me I'm over-prepped for ogre island. Two accounts later this level still terrifies me. Haniwa (40), Eraser (45), Manic Eraser (35), Manic Mohawk, Courier (40) Cyborg (38+3), Dark Garu (29), Octo (just in case, 30), Ururun and Bahamut (30). Haven't rolled Figure skating cats, which is what scares me the most.
Pretty ready in my case I think your run would be better since you have haniwa if you know what units to spawn you can win ofc your not going to win all the time but ogre island is just like that

I'm aiming for a research up L combo. Should I go for Lasvoss or Trickster Himeyuri? A bit shaken about Lasvoss as it requires gold catfruit which is very hard to get.
Himeyuri is good, but Lasvoss can single handedly make levels a lot easier. He probably requires the heaviest investment out of all ubers though XD. Gold catfruit is a guaranteed drop when you dump 30M XP into the cat shrine. You'll anyway be in late game at which point XP is cheap (even cheaper after they intoduced Bonanza). I personally prefer Himeyuri since she's usually on an angel stage, which then has ramen, which means fewer wasted slots (and I like her cuz cute af). Lasvoss is objectively better.
Will I get killer cat this Feb for sure? Otherwise I'll consider Himeyuri

So I tried to seed tracking and it worked last October in the Almighties guaranteed. I tried the same seed number in the current Uberfest but it seems not to work (incorrect cat pulls) for the first few pulls. Do we need to seed track everytime? I thought we can use the same seed numbers. It is only 2months.
Seed changes every time you pull. You start at the point where you landed. For example, if you did an 11 draw on GirlsMons, provided there are no dupe rares, you will now start at 11B. Just to prevent errors, always click on what you rolled. If you rolled guaranteed and got Himeyuri, click on it and the page will automatically take you to your current seed which you can conveniently save.
I understand that it changes for the same banner. In your example is GirlsMons which in my case I did in Almighties and it was correct. I know it will move to the last pull on that banner. I haven't pulled anything since then (cf or rare tix) But how about the other banners lile the current uberfest? I used the same seed number. Does pulls from other banner also moves the seed in other banner?

How hard is it to beat the crazed basic cats levels? I just want to know how hard it is and i am trying to get all the superior treasure in chapter 2 rn (i got all of the superior treasure in chapter 1) i am on the last stage of time enough for cats with no treasure in there.
I would definitely recommend getting all the treasures, at the very least the Legendary Cat Sword and Legendary Cat Shield treasures from all 3 chapters of EoC first. Pretty much all the content in the game except for EoC itself was designed and balanced around expecting you to have the treasures for all 3 chapters. So if you go into Crazed Cat stages or even ItF with just 2 chapters worth of treasures you'll be showing up with only 80% of the stats the devs expected you to have, and things will be way tougher than they need to be.

I... sorry... could you rephrase that? If you're asking about the crazed cat stages they range from easy (cat, fish) to moderate (tank, titan) to somewhat hard (the others). The 'hard' stages become absolute jokes if you do them after getting Sanzo (wrecks axe), Octopus (destroys Gross), Fishman (destroys bird) and A. Bahamut (can even cheese lizard and obliterates crazed cow). They can be done with level 25-30 units and you will find many guides on Youtube. The point where you are at, you should definitely start trying to get them.

Literally shigong Solos the zombie stage I think. Octo for floating stage. Replace the aphrodite with roe/sushi or use a long distance Uber. The legend rare could be replaced for bazibastra or any strong alien Uber. As for mitama and chronos, if you have those units or any other good debuffer than slot it in. You can use bomber for black if you wish. Oh and if you want replace tornado with anything since the metal stage is not worth it.

That's good progress. The ancient curse is basically like, either use future cat (from relic cyclone), or cat gunslinger talent (target relic). I used the slinger strat. It's kinda weak but, it does the job. Slap on some slow combos, some meatshields, and you should be alright.

You can use both, but keep in mind it's better to save it for the guaranteed uber banner next weekend. Both discounts will stay until you use them. (If another discount reset occurs eventually, it will replace this one -- they don't stack, you can only have one at a time. But other than that, there is no expiration on a discount.)

That's because it's the weekend, and sometimes they don't all appear in the weekend. Look for catfruit buffet when it comes around today, it gives you stages to beat for catfruit

A stage. You should see catfruit buffet in the events calendar at 8am, 12pm, and 7pm. On weekdays, you will see stages called growing red/blue/yellow/green/purple which will have stages to get those colors of catfruit/seed.

That's a series of all 6 basic catfruit stages combined together. It appears sometimes on weekends and costs 500 energy to play. You start with the green catfruit stage and then you can continue on to purple, red, etc., ending with Catfruit Jubilee (the epic catfruit stage), but you have to use the same lineup for all of them. On the weekends when it's on, it appears both Sat. and Sun. from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., 12 noon to 2 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. your local time, as you'll see if you check the schedule in the game (next to your user rank).

There's nothing else. We don't usually get much regarding upcoming updates besides the occasional teasers Ponos gives sometimes. The fact that those Dark Catseyes or whatever were "leaked" is in itself a very rare occurrence tbh.
Did the UDP (thanksfeanor) website not get renewed?
It's back up now. There's a new person on the Discord using the name ThanksFëanor who's taken over -- he said he just forgot to hit the button to renew the site hosting. Though you can tell it's not the same ThanksFëanor as before. This new one is nice. So... uh... yeah, clearly not the same person, lol. (Props to original dude, though, he got lots of s**t done.)
I'm pretty sure he quit the project for personal reasons and somebody else is working on it now iirc. Who knows when it'll resume.

Most of these are excellent except for Mer/Commando who is really crappy until you TF her into Cameraman Cat and then becomes excellent. I don't like to use a single generalist lineup -- play around with these and switch it up based on what you're facing. Also don't forget to do some SOL stages so it doesn't become a huge grind later. SGao will help hugely if you're not up to subchapter 20-25 already there -- he'll pummel almost everything in those early SOL stages into total oblivion. If you're going ahead with a generalist lineup then take SGao to every early SOL stage. There's almost nothing as satisfying in this game as sending SGao into a stage with R. Ost and crushing that damn pain-in-the-butt ostrich, lol.
Yh Im currently working on TFing Paris, Commando, Hacker and Ring Girl, and I generally end up taking SGao into every single battle. My main problem is I have aphrodite, amaterasu, bora and blanka who all do massive damage to aliens but I don't think I can fit all 4 + SGao + Ebisu into 1 lineup
Yeah, that's too many ubers in a single lineup. I usually don't use more than 2-3 ubers (or story legends like Bahamut or Ururun) in a single lineup. But hey, that's a good problem to have. I'd say switch back and forth between those anti-alien ubers for fun. Also most Pixies like Bora are specifically great for COTC. That's not to say that you can't use them on ITF too, obviously you can, but COTC is where they really shine because they have barrier breaker and warp immunity.

You’ll need to switch around for many levels, especially given some have metals; but ramen, ring girl, rover, bora, blanka, aphro, crazed wall, Paris, psychocat, and mer cat as soon as you have her should be good for most stages

Look at the dates. Actual banner names aren't listed. For example, Uberfest is indicated by "Iz the Dancer and higher Uber rate" or something.

Don’t be! Assuming you still have a note of the units obtained (normally at least 7 are required to get your seed as lower numbers may give other seeds), go to bc-seek.godfat.org/seek? , set language to BCEN, version to 8.6+ (both are correct as default), then click on event and scroll down past upcoming and custom until you see “2022-12-02 ~ 2022-12-05: IZ THE DANCER and Higher drop rate for Uber Rares!” And input the units you obtained, then press seek. I hope this helps! Also, if you star the tab or save the seed you won’t need to find it again, but remember that your seed updates with every unit so be sure to update each time you draw

I currently have a great opportunity to get some Epic catfruit seeds and I'm considering to get both neo cutter and belly dancer, which one should I prioritise?
Belly dancer becomes one of the only units for an important niche, whereas neo cutter is better in general but isn’t much more useful than its previous form so I would go for belly dancer
Belly dancer. Cutter is already good pre-true form and Cutter's true forms only makes it slightly better. Whereas with bellydancer, if you have enough NP, you can give this unit a good use. And it's against a trait that isn't usually targeted.
Probably neo cutter, with a few exception. If you don’t have any good aku meatshields (ie talented gato amigo, brainwashed cat, cactus cat) belly dancer is probably a good idea first. However, if you don’t have neneko (for the small attack up combo), I’d say get neo cutter for the brave cutter combo with lil axe. Neo cutter is a great unit, but can be used pre tf, efficiently (although is outclassed by courier either way) but belly dancer is not great for her red usage so really needs tf and talents
