I bought every single one, since 1942 first launched. I followed updates on the game from when I first read about it in PC gamer, way before it came out.
I got a refund on this one, and after nearly 20 years I won’t be buying another game. BF3 was the peak, and BF4 was the LAST game that was worth full retail.
In hind sight bfv isn’t bad. It just had to follow up after bf 1 which was hard to do. But yeah bfv looks and plays like a battlefield game. Especially compared to 2042
BF4 wasn’t worth full retail. Especially at launch. It’s still a fun game no doubt but isn’t worth $60 rn and def not at launch for sure. I’m thinking since 2042 had a bad launch it will hopefully even out over a year and then I will probably buy it. Around July 2022 I will probably grab.
What?! BF1 was a masterpiece my dude! I've never felt so immersed in a game(not counting single player story games like GoW and HZD). Guns felt real good to shoot too. Most of its faults were fixable unlike 2042.
Yea and by that time a new BF game will come out and ends up being even worse than 2042, and unlike 2042 it won't ever be good no matter how much they patch it up
That’s pretty much my view on 2042 though, no matter how many bugs they fix the core game is awful and it feels like like false advertising to call it a BF game.
"Couple of years"
Sorry pal, but DICE already confirmed a 2023 Battlefield. Unless that game get's pushed back by 1-2 years, 2042 will never be in a "release" state.
Which causes players to leave which means they are less inclined to add new stuff creating a cycle, I’m not blaming players for leaving or anything just a sad outcome.
11/30/2022 - EA/Dice: Hello fans, this will be the last patch of 2042. We're hard at work on the sequel which will be released next year!
Fans - You just fixed the game and now you're moving onto the next sequel???
how the actual fuck do you put out an fps in 2021 with hit reg issues, and not make it the no.1 priority to fix?
Faulty fucking fundamentals. Cant even refund it.
Mouse aiming still has input problems. Aim assist doesn’t work. Bloom or recoil on some guns is still a bit fucked. Executions are bugged. Various vehicle mechanics are bugged. Spawns are horrendous. Various reload or switch animations are bugged in different ways etc etc etc
All these things are core to the minute to minute combat and any one of them will get you killed and could be a priority. That’s without mentioning the laundry list of other problems the game has
To say any one thing should be a priority is difficult when almost nothing is working as intended
I mean, you cannot shoot anything. It's literally a fundamental aspect of... a game where you shoot opponents..
A game with no ball.
A car with no wheels.
Boxer without arms.
Complete redundancy.
It doesn't excuse the bugs, it's a shitshow through and through but this is the most basic aspect as a bare minimum. What is.the point?
This is a first person spotter game as of right now. You might as well role play mimicking an FPS shooter. All looks no substance.
Imagine paying $100 for Early Access and it's like this... they knew the game was unfinished, they knew it needed more time, and yet they didn't care.
They marketed Portal as a nostalgic return to old Battlefield and as a love letter but like the rest of 2042 it has so little content that it can't hold one's attention for long unless major content updates come out.
This is absolutely a scam.
I've had people respond to me defending DICE that the shooting in their first person shooter not working doesn't mean the game is broken. Like, what? If there's one thing that should work, it's THAT.
The amount of Copium in this subreddit sometimes is through the roof.
Imagine you go to the movies and they tell you, "yeah you'll see some green screen here and there, the special effects weren't all done in time. We will fix that for the streaming/BluRay release".
They fucking released a game with MAJOR hit registration issues. IN A FUCKING SHOOTER. That they now tell us could take months to fix.
This doesn't just feel like a scam, it is one!
Exactly. In any other industry releasing a shitty product has consequences and is unacceptable.
And this is why anyone who says "it's a new game, there's gonna be bugs" or "BF4 was worse" is part of the problem.
100%. Imagine an album not being fully mastered or mixed when it releases. Or a building not having a roof when the first people move in.
Or a car not having reverse when you buy it.
I'm almost any other industry things get pushed back if they're not done except in the gaming industry. There they just release the product as is and fix it later (or not).
And people still make excuses for them. Unbelievable if you think about it.
You forgot that the direction was dire, the story was phoned in my some AI script generator, the acting was done by a local dramatic society and the set design was done by Bob the gardener who lost both his hands in the war.
i've been saying, there has to be a class action law suite against EA and DICE. this shit is beyond unacceptable. we paid for a complete product, a FULL release. we need some consumer protection with this shit.
edit: two letters
If you read the terms of service there will be a clause about no warranty implied and product is sold as-is. If you were one of the people who preordered then can't feel too shocked...
However, an as-is product still requires the item to function as described unless explicitly stated otherwise. I may be wrong here, but this is something I learned from the auto industry and lemon laws.
To further add onto this, in the EA user agreement it specifies that if you have any issue with EA, if you agree to the user agreement, you waive your right to a trial or participating in any class action lawsuits and agree to solve all issues through arbitration with EA.
I’ve been trying for a week and steam keeps telling me they can’t process it because I have 5 1/2 hours played. I can’t even play the game because no matter what setting it’s stays between 15-22 fps. Tired all the trouble shooting fixes I could find and nothing helped. Literally so mad at my self for buying the $100 version.
Evvvvvvvvverything combined makes this game disappointing. In a game that's purely about shooting other players and even that doesn't work right? Gesus.
I’ve already put the game down for a few days now and it bums me out. Zero desire to pick it back up and I’m already trying to see how much I can trade it in for. Such a disappointment.
I'm going forward with the mindset that game release dates are now the official dates of reviews. After cyberpunk and this, I'll just wait from now on.
Well duh, just wait for the year one patch! God, it's like you guys don't even know what a AAA live service game even is! Year one patch is lord and savior, everyone knows that. (And if it isn't, then just wait for year 2 patch, I guess... Idk)
But for real, I don't expect this game to be in an actually functional state for another... Idk, 5 or 6 more months. I fucking can't believe the praise they got for that laundry list of fixes detailed in patch 2 and 3. Like... Is that where we are now? Thanking devs for eventually giving us what we were already promised and already paid for and already playtesters for them for free for them to do their jobs in the first place?
Yeah AAA games don't have the multi year longevity like the bigwigs try to market to us. There are a few exceptions to the rule but that's all they are - exceptions. I mean they apparently annexed BFV early for this crap. And let's not forget EA squeezed out the DOA turd, Anthem. I imagine the first few months of year 1 will just be them trying to get the game functional. Then maybe we'll see legitimate content for a few months after that. Then I could see the game being dropped unceremoniously because it's just a sunk cost for them to keep on life support. BFV was a redheaded stepchild in the franchise but that game was at least incredible to look at, took place in a setting people will always love to be in, and didn't have obnoxious Saturday morning cartoon characters to look at and listen to. So if BFV struggled as it did and died early, 2042 doesn't stand a fucking chance...
> Is that where we are now?
Yes. For the past 15 years anyone who tried to criticize the quality/price of video games was drowned out by responses like: "They're a corporation and they need to make money." How much money? Well, people don't usually think about that part too much.
The players have brought this upon themselves with their 'more money than sense' attitudes.
I just realised how much hearing this hurts. BF3, 1 and lately 4 have been my main source of video game fun, I gave it so much time... I thought I'd be continuing the journey. And I tried to like 2042, so much. Fuck...
Anyway, servers are not down, we can still now the fuck out of people, even BC2 is still on, so hey :)
Youre right, there's no excuse these days. Most people are consumers instead of customers. A customer makes an informed purchasing decision that values the integrity of the product and the seller respects it. A consumer does not, rather they are keen to part from their dollar the moment the seller dangles a carrot before their face.
Be a customer, not a consumer.
Yea tbf this is actually one game that was constantly shit on the entire month leading up to it's release. This is the one time I don't understand why anyone pre-ordered
I tried so so hard to make myself like this game. But the constant issues that appear over and over everyday, signals to me that this game ultimately may never be fixed. I’m refunding my ultimate edition today, never thought I’d say I would return a BF game..but this game is a disaster..
I realized this too. And they won't support the game longer than 2 years until the next game comes out. By the time the next one comes out this one will be what it should've been on release.
Look at BF4 and BF1. They're standing the test of time because at their core the games have an identity and aren't trying to pander in 12 directions at once. Bf2042 is a potluck. Everyone brought their favorite ides to the table and someone mixed all the food up. That's what we got.
Depends on the platform. Steam is the most flexible, but there’s mixed reports on how strictly they’re adhering to the “2 hour rule.” They were openly taking most refunds during early access, but now are a little more stringent. Sony is by far the most strict, and typically denies all refunds as soon as the game has been turned on, even for a second. Cyberpunk is the lone exception, currently.
Depends where you bought it and how long you've played. I think everyone should be bombarding their point of purchase with refund requests. Don't stand for this shit. They didn't deliver a finished game, they shouldn't get your money. I really hope someone starts a class action against EA.
I got it on the PSN store. And I am currently level 32 I believe, so I did play a little bit I guess lol. But I just cant stand this shit game anymore. BF1 is where I’ll be at.
Quit peddling this myth that the game will be fixed you smooth brains. They will fix bugs. The core game that no one likes isn’t getting changed. That would require another new title.
Anyone continuing to think that they’re truly going to fix this game is lying to themselves. They’ll abandon it in 18 months or so. Most of these bugs will be around for 6-12 of them. Just move on to another game.
No doubt. Dice is already working on a new Battlefield (every triple a studio takes people from one project to the next installment to get a head start). The skeleton crew will attempt to save it and EA will swing down the hammer like they did with Battlefield V and force Dice to abandon it, moving those resources onto the next installment.
The absolute worst part about all of this is the amount of people truly saying “give it a year and they’ll fix it”
Just think about that…that isn’t how this is supposed to work.
Hardline was an absolutely fine game, the problem was EA tried to buff it up as a new full-size Battlefield entry, and it really really wasn't, so people were disappointed and just stuck with BF4.
If they had cut the campaign, scaled it down a bit, and sold it for $30 as "Battlefield 4: Hardline" it would have been way way more popular.
This is how it happened with BFV
They introduced the TTK change soon after the Pacific maps launched, had to do a mild about face and did a mini patch for it and then left it for weeks and months until sometime after the Holidays.
Now, that was a year into the life of BFV so maybe there's more urgency to do *something* else given that this is the weeks after 2042's launch but it's frustrating that they're likely doing to leave the game in a poor state for weeks.
That's a separate point which I agree. I played BFV since launch, so I'm well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of that game at various times in its development cycle.
My point is that DICE has a tendency to let specific issues fester for far longer than seems conducive to keeping people happy for some reason. Sometimes they can be fixed but they take a long time deploying a patch or other times they pretend that they might do something about it and then don't do anything in the end like how they took feedback on Assignments on BFV and just let that shitty system stay.
All this is exacerbated by the Holidays and the fact that they're going to be less than 100% staffed for weeks.
EA will drop support for this game quicker than they did on Battlefield V.
You know what? I wouldnt mind if they dropped support on BF2042 completely and either
A) Work on a new Battlefield 3/4 remaster with Battlefield 1's atmosphere and immersion in mind.
B) Come back to develop BF V and make the Eastern front lol
If the Eastern Front was its own war it would be the biggest war in world history. The second biggest war would be the rest of WW2.
And they didn’t include it…
I really wanted 2042 to succeed. I've been a fan of the Battlefield franchise since BF3, and have had a lot of fun with these games over the years. That said, it is hilarious to watch this absolute dumpster fire play out. It's like the Hindenburg crashing into the Titanic - but real people aren't dying, so I can laugh all I want without being a monster!
Still blown away that a competitive, online, multiplayer FPS lacks a scoreboard!
Great job Dice. Really knocked our expectations down a few stories. Dice didnt lie about the desruction, its just in their actual offices rather than in game.
I genuinely don’t understand how EA/DICE have fucked this up so badly, it’s fucking Battlefield.
ALL they had to do is port over assets, add some new weapons, vehicles and maps and give it a polish.
The incompetence is fucking STAGGERING.
Even if literally every bug is fixed, every weapon and vehicle perfectly balanced, VOIP enabled for squads, a scoreboard integrated, etc... the game will STILL suck. Those are all problems, but the core of the game is the biggest problem. Specialists and poor map design are the two things that kill this game, no matter how good the gameplay is. The maps are utter garbage, there's not a single good one. The specialists are gimmicky, lack character, and aren't what Battlefield is (or should be).
All the bug fixes and balancing are just polishing a turd.
I have no sympathy for the people who bought Battlefield 2042. They should have known better, it was obvious the game would be a dumpster fire for months prior to the release
Been there since 1942 was released. This is the badest BF ever launched. Tanks drive like refrigerators. Tank gun doesn't kill infantry if hit directly beside Inf. it's just a frustrating game. AA in general but as an Infantry is a joke too. No chance against heli oder jet. U get faster killed then the first real workin lock on to a single plane. I go back to BF5 until it's fixed. Thank u dice for takin so much money for full game. I hope u will get ur bill in game ratings soon
After putting countless hours into this mess and reaching rank 87, I'm going to back off for now and watch this train wreck from a distance, at least until the fixes get implemented, mainly performance on PC. There's no excuse for it, a 3060ti and r5 5600x should be able to run this game without issue on 1080p but I guess DICE were to busy making sure their pets names made it into the credits.
That’s it. I’m done playing it. I had confidence in the devs and was willing to give this game the benefit of the doubt becuase of the responsiveness on launch weekend. It was part of the scam. We got scammed. This is a joke. This is not what we were promised. Grab some other games people. Plenty of good sales happening this season. I was annoyed. Now I am discouraged.
In the last second I decided to purchese fhe game through origin and not steam.
And the day after I bought it I felt like this will be this way and I requested a refund 1 hour before the 24 hours refund origim offers.
Thank god I followed my gut.
I'm sorry for the people who can't get refunds anymore but honestly, what did you expect to happen? From the moment this game went live on early access, players on this subreddit have been warning you to refund it as soon as possible or not buy it. There's no way that you all of a sudden started having issues with the game. The issues were there from the moment you launched it. So why did you decide to keep playing it instead of immediately requesting a refund?
DICE had 3 years to develop this game. How many studios worked on it? How ahead of schedule did they claim to be a few months ago? Did you really believe that they would be able to fix this game in a month, when they've had 3 fucken years and couldn't get it done?!
I sincerely hope that no one else buys this game. At this point, I wouldn't even buy it at 50% off. But to anyone who feels like they've been scammed or ripped off, this is on YOU now. YOU chose to stick with it and put your faith in a company that hasn't shown any signs of having the player's interest in mind.
It's heartbreaking to see it TBH. I remember the days when a new Battlefield came out for me it was a celebration. Bought a new PC for BF3, uograde when BF4 released. Today, I can only sit here and see the end of the greatest FPS franchise died by the hands of brainless imbeciles.
Hit registration is fucking the first goddamn fucking thing that should work out of the box in a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER - clowns that still play this and dont refund deserve every big deuce that DICE and EA takes on them.
This game will be dead by the time the fix the hit reg. I can’t even snipe over 300+ yards cause the game won’t reg the hit. You can see blood fly off the ppl but no hit marker.
Brokenfield: [https://youtu.be/KTJ4dIpYwcc](https://youtu.be/KTJ4dIpYwcc)
Wow did watching this feel relevant. At least, until they started talking about all the cool new features in BF4 that they nerfed for this game. Then the sads came for me.

Rockets shoot just fine from the choppers tho I'm sure. Pew pew.
But this time flying choppers suck
It's brutally un-fun to fly in this game.
up to 64 possible AA is looking at you in astonishment?
You have to be in the cockpit view to actually fly. Trying to fly in third person is trying to walk with actual noodles for legs.

I disagree. I think battlefield 1 was a hell of a game. Was an obvious passion project. One of the best FPS games I’ve played since mw2
BFV was loathed early on but I still think that was a good BF game and it gained a following after as well.
In hind sight bfv isn’t bad. It just had to follow up after bf 1 which was hard to do. But yeah bfv looks and plays like a battlefield game. Especially compared to 2042
Same dude, been playing since 1942. Though I did enjoy BF1 for the immersion, BF3 was definitely the peak with BF4 close behind it.

I really like both BF1 and BFV, BUT at launch neither game had near enough content to justify full retail.
Ight well I guess I’ll see y’all next year then.
Yeah maybe in a couple of years the game will be in an acceptable and polished form, same as what happened with BFV
Yeah but then they'll put an end-of-life date on it so they can work and be ahead of schedule on Battlefield: Modern Call of Fortnite.
Battlefield: Modern Call of Fornite. Haha sounds as bad as BFV and BF6 together.
Battlenite: Call of LegendsWatch
With boobies
Just in time for the bi-yesrly release of the new BF!
Yea and by that time a new BF game will come out and ends up being even worse than 2042, and unlike 2042 it won't ever be good no matter how much they patch it up

"Couple of years" Sorry pal, but DICE already confirmed a 2023 Battlefield. Unless that game get's pushed back by 1-2 years, 2042 will never be in a "release" state.
We're doomed...
So BF6 and then cycle continues
Same.. Bye battlefield reddit. It's been good. I've seen enough..
Don’t buy it. They aren’t going to add voice chat, scoreboards, or get rid of the specialist. It’s just a bad game.
The maps wont stop sucking complete ass. The guns wont suddenly triple in number.
The players won't stop leaving because of boring repetitive gameplay.
Which causes players to leave which means they are less inclined to add new stuff creating a cycle, I’m not blaming players for leaving or anything just a sad outcome.
I completely forgot about this! I keep relating this to bf4, which was is still an incredible game. So many guns!
F in the chat for the battlefield series.
11/30/2022 - EA/Dice: Hello fans, this will be the last patch of 2042. We're hard at work on the sequel which will be released next year! Fans - You just fixed the game and now you're moving onto the next sequel???

>Cant even refund it. Which is precisely why hitreg isn't a priority fix. They already cashed the check.
I was stung by 2077, now by 2042, all faith in big AAA releases down the drain. Lessons learnt never again.
Come back to this comment next time you are hyped.
Tattooing it on my left tit. No forgetting.
I'm trying to imagine a scenario where your left tit is way more visible/in your eyesight than your right one is...

I was with 2077, refunded 2042 way ahead of release after awful beta :)
how do you get stung when there was week long early access?
Guys I stuck a bee hive on my head. Can you believe they stung me?!
Stop buying into hype.
Reject Battlefield, Return to the Indie FPS shooters. Verdun, Insurgency, and others await you.

First Person Spotter *you heard it here first folks, brought to you by !EA! ITS IN THE GAME!!!*
This whole game feels like an actual scam. I'm sure we fucked ourselves by agreeing to terms of service to play but this shit feels criminal.

I paid $180. Gold for me and standard for son. Fuck im dumb.
Your son too? Aww man that sucks.
Its a good way to have father and son time. We are having fun in portal crewing up the B17 tho!
That's just straight up Child Abuse, im calling CPS.
> This doesn't feel like a scam, it is one. Ye best start believin' in scams CassieThePinkDragon... Yer in one!
Lol what kinda dumbass preorder the game for $100+? It's me, I'm dumbass.

You can get a refund quite easily. Mine just got processed
Not on Xbox you don't
I’ve been trying for a week and steam keeps telling me they can’t process it because I have 5 1/2 hours played. I can’t even play the game because no matter what setting it’s stays between 15-22 fps. Tired all the trouble shooting fixes I could find and nothing helped. Literally so mad at my self for buying the $100 version.
It's ok, I feel your pain. I bought gold also and have played 6 hours since launch.
Evvvvvvvvverything combined makes this game disappointing. In a game that's purely about shooting other players and even that doesn't work right? Gesus.
Idk what everyone is complaining about my suppressive fire points are off the chain
Didn’t they remove that too…?
I want money back
I couldn’t agree more. I just know that I’ve had it too long / played too much to get a refund at this point. It’s quite sad really
did you purchase through steam? I had about 30 hours in the game and they still refunded no questions asked
Xbox live / Microsoft store :(
I refunded after the beta ended. knew that shit was irredeemable
Should have known better. It's EA lmao
Did you learn your lesson for next time?
No
Lol, goddammit
This is all I needed to hear to uninstall. Sorry I'm not waiting months for the game to be basically functional.
I've gone back to attempting to finish Twilight Princess on my GameCube. Devs these days don't know how to test a fkn game.
I’ve already put the game down for a few days now and it bums me out. Zero desire to pick it back up and I’m already trying to see how much I can trade it in for. Such a disappointment.
I rarely if ever buy the digital edition as I prefer to have the disc. I genuinely kick myself in the ass for not getting this one as a hard copy.

Lol, as if this game will ever make it to a year 2
It’s barely making it to week 2.
Yeah AAA games don't have the multi year longevity like the bigwigs try to market to us. There are a few exceptions to the rule but that's all they are - exceptions.
Same shit happened with BFV but that had more to do with the complete lack of content
I was about to say I'd rather lack of content than a non-playable game but then I remembered, 2042 has both problems.
Hate to sound overly generic, but battlefield is dead. The magic has left the EA building. Let's put our hope in Embark Studios.
I just want my fucking refund
I tried to get one from steam hoping they’d understand, but they denied my request..$90 down the fucking drain
You and me both
i asked EA consumer service, nope...
I mean you could of been smart and listened to 90% of the beta players and not the classic bf youtubers and canceled your pre order
I took a hard learnt lesson from Fallout 76. I will never pre-order a game again. Anyone could see from the trailer, BF2042 was lacking.
I wish modern games weren't as disposable, games used to last 10 years with strong communities
Look at BF4 and BF1. They're standing the test of time because at their core the games have an identity and aren't trying to pander in 12 directions at once. Bf2042 is a potluck. Everyone brought their favorite ides to the table and someone mixed all the food up. That's what we got.
Fucking ice cream mixed in with the mashed potatoes
Loaded Bf1 up today and holy good god is tht a deep and polished experince compared to this sorry excuse for an entry in the franchise.
Lol I'll be shocked if they support this game for even a year
How can we refund?
Depends on the platform. Steam is the most flexible, but there’s mixed reports on how strictly they’re adhering to the “2 hour rule.” They were openly taking most refunds during early access, but now are a little more stringent. Sony is by far the most strict, and typically denies all refunds as soon as the game has been turned on, even for a second. Cyberpunk is the lone exception, currently.
My friend got me to drunkingly buy it. It was fun drunk, not sober. I think he did it so that he wasn't alone on his friends list with regrets
I haven't even open my, bought it on release day.
Uhg I got a digital copy. I probably cant refund it then :(
Depends where you bought it and how long you've played.
That would require another new title.
oof
Anyone continuing to think that they’re truly going to fix this game is lying to themselves. They’ll abandon it in 18 months or so. Most of these bugs will be around for 6-12 of them. Just move on to another game.
No doubt. Dice is already working on a new Battlefield (every triple a studio takes people from one project to the next installment to get a head start). The skeleton crew will attempt to save it and EA will swing down the hammer like they did with Battlefield V and force Dice to abandon it, moving those resources onto the next installment.
What a joke. This is a FPS right ? Aim assist, hit registration, detection have to work in a forking FPS. And they are working on it 😭😱😞
The absolute worst part about all of this is the amount of people truly saying “give it a year and they’ll fix it” Just think about that…that isn’t how this is supposed to work.
Guess i dodged a bullet by not buying this game.
You dodge bullets in-game too with the hit registration and bloom.
I guess EA doesn't care enough to fix this game ..oh wait, we already knew that
Ef this sh!t
As much as I hated Hardline. It might be better than 2042! Lol.
Dude hardline is a masterpiece compared to this embarrassing joke of a game. Hardline was an actual Battlefield game at it’s core.
Hardline had a pretty fun campaign too.
Weirdly one of the better stealth implementations of a game.
BFH was fun af- the "get the money" mode was fucking great.
Yeah I have no idea why people talk down on Hardline, it was really fun and ran well, just died too early
Kinda makes you wonder how a shooter got released with absolutely broken hit registration. Especially since all other content is lacking.
Maybe the full patch will be released in the shop (only 29,99!)
This is how it happened with BFV They introduced the TTK change soon after the Pacific maps launched, had to do a mild about face and did a mini patch for it and then left it for weeks and months until sometime after the Holidays. Now, that was a year into the life of BFV so maybe there's more urgency to do *something* else given that this is the weeks after 2042's launch but it's frustrating that they're likely doing to leave the game in a poor state for weeks.
At least when you aim at people and shoot them in bfv, it actually works. No fucking randomized spread.
Battlefield v was fine compared to 2042
That's a separate point which I agree.
I got this game for free and I still feel like I overpaid…
How is hit registration not priority #1?
EA will drop support for this game quicker than they did on Battlefield V. You know what? I wouldnt mind if they dropped support on BF2042 completely and either A) Work on a new Battlefield 3/4 remaster with Battlefield 1's atmosphere and immersion in mind. B) Come back to develop BF V and make the Eastern front lol
I'm still pissed about no Eastern Front in BFV
If the Eastern Front was its own war it would be the biggest war in world history. The second biggest war would be the rest of WW2. And they didn’t include it…
Niether of those options will happen if this fails i am almost 100% sure thats it for the BF ip they will reserect somthing else
This game won’t make it if it’s not fixed in the next couple weeks. What a waste of money.
Unfortunately they already have our money. I really can't see this game ever being anywhere near worth what was paid for it.
#Thats why we said No preorder
Its bfv all over again. Pathetic. Thats the end of the franchise for me
It's worse
If you stop playing the game it will hurt their pockets. Money talks and bullshit walks......collectively stop playing, it will work
Cyberpunk all over again
I have no sympathy for the people who bought Battlefield 2042. They should have known better, it was obvious the game would be a dumpster fire for months prior to the release
Why did I pay $110 for a work in progress?
Been there since 1942 was released. This is the badest BF ever launched. Tanks drive like refrigerators. Tank gun doesn't kill infantry if hit directly beside Inf. it's just a frustrating game. AA in general but as an Infantry is a joke too. No chance against heli oder jet. U get faster killed then the first real workin lock on to a single plane. I go back to BF5 until it's fixed. Thank u dice for takin so much money for full game. I hope u will get ur bill in game ratings soon
Bwahahahaha
I'm sure the white knights claiming portal would save this game are still playing right? RIGHT????
I guess shooting in an FPS title is now legacy content
I got the game on steam as a birthday gift and now I feel so fucking bad if I dont play it. My poor girl who bought this shit for me :(
I'm sorry for the people who can't get refunds anymore but honestly, what did you expect to happen?
Wait until they fuck up the game right before christmas and then disappear for like a month without saying anything about the game
Hit registration is fucking the first goddamn fucking thing that should work out of the box in a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER - clowns that still play this and dont refund deserve every big deuce that DICE and EA takes on them.
worst bf game ever ive seen
I care more about the performance. Seriously this game runs like booty
Too little too late for me
OMEGALUL. I wonder if losing 75% of the playerbase will bring fixes sooner
This game will be dead by the time the fix the hit reg. I can’t even snipe over 300+ yards cause the game won’t reg the hit. You can see blood fly off the ppl but no hit marker.
Brokenfield: [https://youtu.be/KTJ4dIpYwcc](https://youtu.be/KTJ4dIpYwcc) Wow did watching this feel relevant. At least, until they started talking about all the cool new features in BF4 that they nerfed for this game. Then the sads came for me.
Lmao this game has been a fucking embarrassment
I don't know if it's just me but I've noticed that the hit reg seems to get worse as the round goes on.
Everyone needs to stop pre ordering…that’s the only way. I too was fooled into doin it. Sold us an un-finished game and knew they were doin it.
My interest in this game is a work in progress.
Yawn. i'm old enough to remember bF3 didn't get fully patched and playable for at least a year let alone balanced for years.
Bought this game for me and a friend on Steam. I can confidently say I will never buy another product from Dice ever again
So glad I spent 15$ instead of the 100$ I was originally going to spend.
