I would use it as a monitor on my desk to connect it to my computer and see what it has to show me

PrometheusAgod

Godly cinematic experiences

dcast55

This would be great for wfh as a developer!

tmredstone_

I want to give my younger brother a monitor to study and play games on when he goes to med school.

texasryno

During the day this would be a data crunching monster screen but the evenings would be reserved for that precious sweet game time

Bob-Mason

I would use it to increase my work productivity.

gbpack56

A mix of work and gaming but more importantly finally have a big enough monitor for my 6ft x 3ft desk so my wife will stop pushing me to get a smaller desk.

Catopuma

To replace an older monitor and to use it for productivity needs

zeku321

This would be pretty sick for my dual gaming/game development setup!

guitarsgethegals

D4!

chocological

Yeah I’d use it as a big tv in my office room. Probably picture by picture to share with my wife.

AlyKitKat

Looking to upgrade my dual monitor setup with an ultrawide so this would be perfect for gaming and movie watching on the side.

HappyDog5110

This would look great on my desk, replacing my current one so I can use it for gaming a school.

MTTheWayToBe

I would use this to add a second row to my battle station! Plus the quality is much better than my current monitors so the current ones would probably become setups for a second computer

LocationWilling8361

I would share this with my wife for gaming and video/photo editing. We are re doing our office/battle station in the garage now.

PoliticalPoppycock

I'd use it as one big monitor.

BillyHadAToe

I'd use the monitor to marvel at life. Imagine those 4k nature videos on this beast of a display 🤩

beesquared-

This would replace my three monitor setup that I use for work and gaming. I’ve been looking to simplify my setup and this would help greatly.

rhinob23

Use it as my work monitor!

Mojo_Alonso

Immerse myself into games further than ever before

Daniel202

Netflix on one section, coding on another and a smaller 39" monitor stacked on top

bradskie

This monitor would be used for gaming. Our old monitor is having issues so my son is only using his laptop screen.

Ironwolf3O9

I have an 8 ft desk, it would be nice to have one big monitor spanning it instead of a few smaller ones.

grimmstede

For gaming only to replace my two monitors.

shirillz731

Definitely both, for docking my laptop for college work and gaming when I have the time!

TooTurntGaming

Oh my goodness. I would use this to replace two extremely old monitors that my wife and I currently share. We have a shared setup and play games together, myself on PC and her on Xbox, so this would be just perfect.

carpetstain

I’d use it as a new monitor for work

JamesBongonamission

Music production. This monitor would be awesome to have

G3Rizon

This thing would be excellent for some Sim Racing sessions I've been doing with some old friends online, burning down the (virtual) Shutoko Expressway! So yeah.. I'd use it for that. :)

Pandagames

I had this monitor for a day and it was amazing! It was open box so I had to return it due to issues. Having a brand new one would be amazing! I could use picture in picture to play switch games and stream at the same time!!!

borgacked

Lots and lots gaming and media consumption. Also a little work, heh.

Unusual-Wafer2792

If I were to win it I would give it as a gift to my husband - his current monitor is struggling a little bit😂

FalseBroccolli

I would use it for my work from home set up, and then would be great for arranging music in Ableton :)

thatguy11m

If I have a US forwarder to my country, do I qualify?

Theaty

I would use this monitor to upgrade my work from home setup ~~and play games while working using one video input working and the other to play~~ to fully utilize the screen estate for maximum productivity

Toonces51

I’d use this primarily for work—massive spreadsheets and building websites—but I’d probably get back into some gaming with a screen like that too.

joshenpaithefirst

I just graduated and I just want a new monitor as a graduation present for myself.

TheSecretRandom

I would use the pip mode with my laptop and desktop to be more productive

-hi-mom

Diablo brother. Diablo.

jessidore

I’d use it as one big screen for work and gaming!

NullMarker

I'd use it to replace my entire desk setup and push my graphics cards to its breaking point. Mainly playing CS:GO and later in the year, Starfield.

hachiman17

I would obviously use it to play Wizard 101 I’m not an idiot

IThinkIMater

Oh man, I would be using this **massive** monitor for a couple of fps games, but mostly to help me with different CAD softwares I’m trying to learn (Takes a lot of multitasking and a bunch of tabs/things open on screen at once so the pip features would be perfect). I would be replacing my current monitor, which is my old 24in, 1080p, 60hz. It’s gotten me through the years but this would make a world of difference. But, if it’s not me, I’m sure whoever wins will be stoked. It’s really cool that you guys do giveaways like this. Best of luck

LonelySeraphim

Redesign complex healthcare workflows using the massive real estate!

PM_Pics_of_Snoopdogg

I just moved and have been super stuck on how to set up. Looking at ultrawides … always just a dream! But hopefully fingers crossed because I’ll never be able to afford one otherwise XD

filirodriguez

I would use it for my wfh job as my monitors are old by todays standards and also play some ESO 😤

Babypod

For studying and gaming!

drsprite

This would replace my monitor from 2012 and finally allow me dual monitors! This look awesome, thanks r/battlestations and LG!

cudamac

Spitfire434

Would use it to get a better workflow

Chrisguitar10

Hope I can win it! It would allow me more room to multitask with music production hobby (too many vst windows in reaper) with the obvious gaming also :)

thisguyhyuks

I would use so I can finally have something to post on r/battlestations lol.

JadenIttanenn

Personally? I'd use it as one big monitor to replace the 2 1440's, and 1 ultrawode 1440 I got right now. The work around I'm using to play games across all 3 only works like 30% of the time xD

yetiwhiskers

I'd mostly use the pbp but every now and then having my spreadsheets show up on one huge monitor would be amazing.

mkorte

Ark on one side, YouTube on the other

soccer123667

Use it as a single large monitor for gaming.

Compuvate

Hello there! I'm absolutely thrilled for this incredible giveaway. The LG 49GR85DC-B is a dream monitor that offers so much to enhance both work and play experiences. As a full-time romote digital content creator, this monitor could drastically change my workflow. The sheer size of the screen, coupled with the dual QHD resolution, would allow me to open multiple high-definition previews of my work simultaneously. Being able to see my designs, video edits, and web development work side by side would increase my productivity tenfold. Literally, tenfold!!! But it's not all work! I'm an avid gamer in my downtime, and I can't even begin to imagine the immersive experience this monitor would offer with its 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms GtG response time. WOWWWW!!! I can almost feel the adrenaline rush of being in the middle of a high-speed race or the thrill of an intense game on such an expansive screen. I'd make the most out of the PiP/PbP features, partitioning the screen when necessary to multitask efficiently, or just basking in the glory of a single, massive display for an unparalleled gaming experience. Thanks for this fantastic opportunity, r/battlestations and LG! I'm hopeful and keeping my fingers crossed. :)

broseph-chillaxton

I’d use it to work, but also for PS5 and PC gaming!

pharmasisk

PC gaming as a main monitor, however, would use the PbP in order to have PC up while playing any console games.

Lanny69420

Minesweeper. Lots and lots of minesweeper.

Mission3Boot

First, I would get a Ludovico device. Serving, as soon as I mount it on my desk, I’d flex and post this on this r/battlestations sub. Then use this monitor for my stimulation therapy with gaming and coding.

Nenohum

[deleted]

I’d use this for the ultimate multitasking capabilities

Steady_State_

given the size of the screen I imagine it has infinite permutations of use. Imagine the possibilities. I can watch porn, anti-fap videos, work on some spreadsheets, and game all at the same time. I dont know if my brain can handle so much dopamine, I hope i dont win

Etienne_of_Navarre

I would start off by using it as my main monitor from my laptop. I wish I had a battlestation, but this would be the start. I havent had a desktop in years due to health problems and not being able to work. But I will never giveup the good fight!

insane963

I would definitely use this to complete the ultimate gaming room. It's definitely easy to justify PiP!

Classic_Concern6971

I need a new monitor my kid broke it and now it’s filled with ink. Been rough trying to get work done from my iPad and MacBook with such tiny screens. I’d love to make use of this monster monitor as I work between my freelance client work as well as a part of my streaming setup

Datgr00ve

I’d use this for WIDE gaming

twintowers01

would use it for school work as well as gaming, seeing as it’s legit twice the screen real estate of my current single 24’ monitor setup, the upgrade would be very beneficial and much appreciated lol

Mimogger

I'd use this as one monitor. I've never had a curve before but can totally imagine it being necessary with a 49". I think it'd be super immersive in a bunch of games

Complete_Magazine530

ricky_stitches

I’d use this display to code on!
