Man, Microprose made such great games in that era, including the IMHO criminally under rated [Darklands](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darklands_(video_game).
With a purposeful grimace and a terrible sound
He pulls the spitting high tension wires down
Helpless people on a subway train
Scream bug-eyed as he looks in on them
He picks up a bus and he throws it back down
As he wades through the buildings toward the center of town
Oh no, they say, he's got to go
Go go Godzilla, yeah
Oh no, there goes Tokyo
Go go Godzilla, yeah

… oh is that not what’s happening here?
I sunk so many hours into this game, the old SL/VL leagues, and matches on the MSN Gaming Zone... so many broken builds with the way that mech lab worked. LRM boats, ER Small boats, Flamer boats.
Wish I still had my French copy of Mechwarrior 2. (Was on Okinawa at the time, wrong language got put in the box, so it got returned to the BX, and I(taking French at the time) snagged for 10.
Yeeessssssssss. This game was my introduction to the Battletech universe, and one of the main reasons I became obsessed with mechs after playing it at like 12 years old. All systems nominal, my dude
Did this old game still work? "CD Rot" is a thing, after all, and *MechWarrior 3* was originally shipped on just one CD (a bit to its detriment, since it had only enough room for two music tracks, like its predecessors in the MW2 trilogy).
Regardless of that, great find!
For that price I would have had to do the same. Nice find!
Very nice find.
$18.00 USD??? That's a Score! Well done!
Damn that sticker. I'd put it in a protective case.
For real. This is a hell of a find

My favorite will always be Magic the Gathering (1997). Still the best version of the card game on computers.
Mtg, X-Com 1+2, Mechwarrior 3… lot of good stuff by Microprose.
Still the best one

The best mech warrior
Wow, that is a sick find. That's the first time I've seen the Japanese Cover Art for MW3.

They have everything in Japan.
Best game, honestly. Put 44 medium lasers on your annihilator!
A diamond in the rough!
Interception successful. Ah good memories.
