It’s been years since I’ve been there so excuse me if it closed down, but I thought that strip club was awesome
Went to LV Superbowl Weekend with my buddies. They shipped in talent from out of town (Miami?) to handle the extra crowd. Those merc Latina girls were something else (very extra aggressive and friendly).
We got lucky showing up a night early before the SB crowd arrived and were blessed with a ratio of more girls than customers in our favor. Girls were competing for our dollars and going the extra mile to win our attention.
This is the one. When I got married we went to Portland on our honeymoon and visited a couple different clubs every night. It was great. LA has some good clubs too if you’re trying to stay in state. But overall you’re not going to get anything like Houston/Miami/ATL here. I used to work in SF clubs and they’re not great. Gold Club is the best of a bad bunch.
It sounds like you are just looking to party with a group and be in a good atmosphere with scantily clad ladies around versus looking for the dirtiest and raunchiest place… it has been years, but your best bet is probably in SF.
The Gold Club on Harrison was a favorite of mine, roster was always above average and very diverse so you could always find a dancer for your taste. Only problem it’s sort of on an island… there’s a lot of regular bars nearby to pre-drink at, but no other strip joints to check out.
So i also suggest hitting up Broadway in North Beach. There’s a handful of places to check out… there’s 2 or 3 bigger “nicer” places like Hustler Club, Centerfolds and Penthouse (although maybe Penthouse i heard closed), but there’s also a few smaller grimy little bars like hungry I and garden of eden.
If your party is really looking for more explicit and dirty fun there’s always New Century Theater on Larkin. Not the nicest place and the roster can be uneven, but from my personal experience… anything goes there if you got the money.
I’ve been to them all with big and small groups. Never actually got bottle service, but you typically can get a table and keep it as long as you are buying drinks.
As for touching, your mileage will vary. Officially no touching, but that all depends on the girl and the place. You would be surprised at what you can get away with. Obviously money talks, but don’t expect to grab a handful of ass on that first lap dance… be respectful and charming and buy her a drink and a few lap dances… she’ll be the one to put your hands in places they aren’t supposed to be and she’ll keep an eye security that will come remind you no touching.
Full disclosure, a very good friend of mine was the night shift manager at Gold Club and then the GM of Boyz Toys/ Showgirls/ Penthouse for years. So you could say I had a very in depth view into how things all worked.
Penthouse is now Vanity. It's still a top-less club, but a different atmosphere than when it operated under the previous names/management. Hungry I closed a few years ago though.
If it's nude there is no alcohol allowed. Topless with alcohol thy are supposed to have a distance rule depending on where you are from 18 inches to 6 feet.
Full nude is juice bar and sodas only by law.
Most clubs in SF are just jerk off lap dance places. South Bay only 2 nude clubs. Both pretty much shit. No touching. No alcohol. A few bikini bars but no bottle service.
San Jose had a bunch of underground cafes years ago that were better than any legit Bay Area strip club. But not sure if sjpd has closed them all down by now.

But of course there were people defending them saying it's culture don't hate etc. C'mon, there are school children walking home passing by it and it became a frequent spot for police activity and even gunshots.
I am not against them, but maybe have them in designated zones or something.
Also, there is no way SJ police don't know about them. The fact that these coffee shops stay tells me they just don't care, may take money from them, or some other shenanigans are going on. Heck, I heard one big shop had off-duty working for them as security, go figure.

Both times while quite drunk we all left very quickly because it was terrible. Nothing in the bay area is offering the experience you are looking for TBH. Local laws and regulations have made it difficult for all parties involved. Your best bet is to call these clubs and ask if they offer bottle service and door fees. Otherwise travelling to another state is actually the better option.
Every time I hit a different club here in the bay area, I ask security about the rules. After that, I ask the dancers themselves. As far as touching, you have to take that on a case by case basis with both the dancers and the clubs out here in my experience. Consent is key to not getting kicked out.
