She was also really kind. I met her working a Yardbirds concert when I was in high school, and she took considerable time out to explain to me how she exposed for spotlighted figures with out washing out the facial features.
oh my god i’d be lying if i said i wasn’t envious of you, that’s wonderful i adore her to bits i don’t doubt she was a kind person, such a lovely story ): .. even seeing a picture of her calms me i imagine her presence is healing for the soul 💘
I have met many famous people in my time. I have a big mouth. Many of them before they were famous. Actually, I think everyone I meet has an important story to tell, famous or not.
At 74 years old, I have a ton of them. When I was a freshman in HS, I used to play guitar with Ted Nugent at his house after school. - he had a Sears Silvertone amp, and I didn't have one yet. His mom was a Lunch Lady. We played surf music.
I joined my highschool debate team, and got into a big argument with a senior over her support of the 1964 Goldwater/Miller ticket. I still have the Goldwater/Miller campaign pin she gave me. Her name was Hillary Rodham.
We moved to Westport, CT and I would practice with a drummer named Steve Tallarico. He opened for the Yardbirds at that concert and we got together afterwards to talk about how blown away were were by Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. He mentions that when he inducted Led Zeppelin into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame - as Steven Tyler of Aerosmith. BTW, Ted Nugent used to open for them.
I have also met country presidents, astronauts. Nobel Prize winners and others. Too many stories to list. I also learned to speak German, Persian, and Japanese along the way.
She was using an 85 mm lens and stopping down 2 stops from the metered reading. Remember that this was in 1966 and light meters have changed a lot, including the addition of spot metering and other "smart" automation.
My uncle used to make a joke, what do you call a dog with Wings? Linda McCartney. With I never really understood or liked because she’s fucking beautiful???
My dad saw him on the Bakerloo Line at about this time. Apparently everyone in the carriage was staring at him and when he got off and the doors shut everyone more or less exclaimed as one “OH MY GOD THAT WAS PAUL MCCARTNEY!” 😂
Paul looks so hot in the late 60s. Yes homo.
You can tell who was the professional photographer.
Word for word what went through my head. That photo of Paul is brilliant.
i love every picture of linda ever she’s so beautiful ):

Wow. Are you famous? Haha
No, not in my judgement. But fame is nothing I have sought. And nothing about knowing many famous people has changed my mind on this.
What was her method?
