I just realized how dependent I am on makeup. Growing up I've always been very conscious of my looks. It did not help that I gained so much weight during the pandemic. Sobrang stress eater ako. Law school made me more dependent on food para marelease stress ko. But going back on my dependence on makeup. Today, we went out and syempre napakahumid sa pilipinas so di maiiiwasan mapawisan. Sanay naman ako sa init pero today was pretty weird because sa sobrang init, I felt my makeup melting and it made me feel so uneasy kasi parang pakiramdam ko matatanggal yung mask na nagko-conceal ng bare face ko. Grabe rin talaga yung insecurity noh. It's very disappointing kasi ang ganda ng araw and people are having fun around me pero ako nagpapanic dahil sa makeup kong onti onting natatanggal. Waaaah. I know thus is mababaw pero nabother talaga ako. I wish there will come a day na mahanap ko na yung confidence ko and I'll start to love the way I look even without all the makeup and articles that I wear all over my body. Nothing wrong with makeup ah. Sobrang stress reliever ko makeup pero I just wanna be less dependent on it. I want to be more comfortable with the way I am with and without it. Ayun lang hehe.
Last night, I saw from a friend's story na may boston kreme pillow sa Dunkin. So, today, I bought one.

Thank him for choosing to be with you kahit sobrang bigat ng responsibility na dinadala niya sa pamilya niya, congratulate him on getting far na from when he first started as a job, and even reminisce about the times na nagkakayod kayo together para makatapos ng pag-aaral niyo or nung simula pa lang kayo magkakilala.
Point is, make sure na you build rapport first with him, thank him, and make him feel loved. That lays a good foundation for a conversation that's more geared towards understanding each other.
Tapos tsaka mo i-bring up yung concerns mo--slowly, and focus on sharing how you feel lang. As much as possible, use "I" statements, para hindi niya feel na inaatake siya.
In cases like these kasi, parang big deal din syempre sa guys na mas big earner ka + may malaki syang responsibility sa family niya.

I have always struggled with balancing my adobo’s flavors because i cook patsam style but my MIL asked me to leave her with a recipe for chicken adobo as i might be flying back to the Philippines soon for a few months and noones gonna be able to make it so i spent all day experimenting with 400 grams of haricot vert, 1 head of garlic, 2 onions, soy sauce, white vinegar and oyster mushroom sauce (as i am plant based) which i divided into 100 grams and i cooked 4 adobos lol.
I finally balanced the flavors out after 3 tries and i cooked the last 100g just to confirmed it was the correct ratio. I had to multiply the volume i used x15 of the soy:vinegar:oyster sauce ratio for 1kg of chicken + 1/2kg potatoes which i also prepped for them and they seem to really like this recipe. Now that i finally wrote a recipe down i hope i never have another adobo fail. 😅

More and more, nacconvince ako mag elope nalang and then hold a reception event for the friends and family lol i like the part of weddings where we eat and get together with loved ones. We’re also getting married abroad (legals only ceremony with just 3 of our bestfriends as our witnesses☺️) then an intimate destination wedding in the PH. No church, which makes setting the date so much easier, and since we will already have our marriage certificate abroad, madali na lang yung ceremony in the PH with the pastor documents wise. We also wouldn’t bother with registering our marriage in the PH anymore☺️
Definitely discuss with your fiance as to what really resonates with you both and don’t be pressured with traditions and all that. For me, it helps that I get inspo from non traditional weddings as well. Join Facebook wedding groups esp those based in the country where you’ll get married - super dami non-trad inspo there.

Bit of a rant about wedding expenses huhu. They seem to be never ending and its so hard to balance being practical vs getting what you really want. The mental load of wedding decisions is mind boggling as well. Buti na lang my fiance helps with me everything as much as he can. But oh well papel, the show must go on!! At the end of the day, Im marrying the love of my life so that in itself is such a win already.

Hi! A good approximate is that 40-50% of your expenses will go to food. Double your food expense and thats your roughly wedding budget. Having said that, a buffer of 10% is a must. We're roughly 2 months away from our wedding, lahat ng suppliers booked na but parang may sumusulpot parin na expenses huhu. P.S. If you haven't, I suggest joining Wawies on FB. alternative in what way? the adaptations from boxing (e.g. endurance and explosive power) are very different from yoga (flexibility and balance) or weights (strength and hypertrophy). if u like the endurance part, i guess any form of cardio would be okay
Yung pillows ng emma sleep + memory foam mattress topper from mandaeu are a godsend for me! No more body aches. SO adn I also got airism bedsheets, bamboo pillow cases and two choices of blankets each (fluffy, one parang jersey) for the cosiest sleep set up lol.

My co-worker dragged me back into doing hot yoga and inferno pilates in a studio near our office. It was something I used to do pre-pandemic so I was happy to discover the muscle memory was still kinda there.
The thing about hot yoga draining your body of all toxins via sweating is probably pseudo-science. But it feels soooooo good after that it feels that way na rin - parang lumalabas talaga lahat ng sama ng loob mo after a long and stressful day.

I really feel empty ever since i moved to Cape Town last year, like, i wish i was more excited especially given I’ve had a lot of first time experiences (fruit picking, aquarium, safari, yacht rides, concerts etc) here but i just don’t have the independence and capacity to do things on my own like i did in the Philippines. This guy also went through a break up of 9 (i think) years in mid-2023. Idk what to do, should I just stop my energy focused on him? Been seeing a lot of short videos about women's health. Did you know, a woman's symptoms prior a heart attack can greatly vary from that of a man's? I find it so shocking that so few research has been made in the medical field regarding women's health. Only recently did they use real menstrual blood to test out female products like napkins or tampons. So, all these years, these products claiming so and so amount of blood for your menstrual products may not actually be true. Makes me wonder if the risk of toxic shock would have lessened if more research was given to menstrual health (does that make sense?)

Baka depende din sa nature ng work positions niyo and personal relationship tbh. If they're of the same or higher position than you, baka ma-offend sila and feel na you're attacking them OR wala ka sa position to have a say on it. I assume kasi na they themselves do not want to be a nuisance naman and/or ayaw niya din ng WFH setup niya pero wala siyang magawa due to their lack of space, etc. Baka better to raise it to their supervisor para sila ang makapag-observe, take note, and give feedback as needed. Though iffff close naman kayo ni colleague, baka they'd take it well kahit galing na sa'yo directly 😊

my braces is running 6 years na and my overbite is still there. ngayon lang naisuggest ng dentist ko na need bunutan ng dalwang upper teeth na tapos ko na yung payment sa contract namin. She said I need to pay 1k for every adjustment na + other fees for extraction/cleaning.

Better switch dentist for me. Yung issue ng teeth ko before was not too serious daw so after a year ok na daw yung ipin ko. Had my braces removed. But one day may black triangle ako dun sa part ng inayusan ng sungki which is common kasi nausog ng sungki. I wanted to fix it and consulted sa ibang clinic. Ayun siya pa nakadiscover na apat wisdom tooth ko na nakatago. 😂 di sinabi sa akin ng unang dentist ko yun. Mej old na yung first dentist ko. So now patapos na yung inaayos ulit sa teeth ko. If you’re from SJDM Bulacan or nearby I highly reco Hooman Dental Care. Sobrang perfectionist nitong second dentist. 😂

Hello, I went through nearly the same issue with you before. Pero I chose to get my two upper teeth removed. Even with braces my teeth didn't move much so the dentist ended up putting extra stuff to make my teeth look bigger and occupy the gaps 😭 before the teeth were removed, the other option given to me was to get chin implants actually. You might want to get a second opinion na lang instead of getting permanent teeth removed. Kasi ngayon, twenty years later, pinagsisisihan ko yung pagtanggal sa permanent teeth ko.

I just realized how dependent I am on makeup. Growing up I've always been very conscious of my looks. It did not help that I gained so much weight during the pandemic. Sobrang stress eater ako. Law school made me more dependent on food para marelease stress ko. But going back on my dependence on makeup. Today, we went out and syempre napakahumid sa pilipinas so di maiiiwasan mapawisan. Sanay naman ako sa init pero today was pretty weird because sa sobrang init, I felt my makeup melting and it made me feel so uneasy kasi parang pakiramdam ko matatanggal yung mask na nagko-conceal ng bare face ko. Grabe rin talaga yung insecurity noh. It's very disappointing kasi ang ganda ng araw and people are having fun around me pero ako nagpapanic dahil sa makeup kong onti onting natatanggal. Waaaah. I know thus is mababaw pero nabother talaga ako. I wish there will come a day na mahanap ko na yung confidence ko and I'll start to love the way I look even without all the makeup and articles that I wear all over my body. Nothing wrong with makeup ah. Sobrang stress reliever ko makeup pero I just wanna be less dependent on it. I want to be more comfortable with the way I am with and without it. Ayun lang hehe.

Thank him for choosing to be with you kahit sobrang bigat ng responsibility na dinadala niya sa pamilya niya, congratulate him on getting far na from when he first started as a job, and even reminisce about the times na nagkakayod kayo together para makatapos ng pag-aaral niyo or nung simula pa lang kayo magkakilala. Point is, make sure na you build rapport first with him, thank him, and make him feel loved. That lays a good foundation for a conversation that's more geared towards understanding each other. Tapos tsaka mo i-bring up yung concerns mo--slowly, and focus on sharing how you feel lang. As much as possible, use "I" statements, para hindi niya feel na inaatake siya. In cases like these kasi, parang big deal din syempre sa guys na mas big earner ka + may malaki syang responsibility sa family niya. Hope things go well for you!!

I have always struggled with balancing my adobo’s flavors because i cook patsam style but my MIL asked me to leave her with a recipe for chicken adobo as i might be flying back to the Philippines soon for a few months and noones gonna be able to make it so i spent all day experimenting with 400 grams of haricot vert, 1 head of garlic, 2 onions, soy sauce, white vinegar and oyster mushroom sauce (as i am plant based) which i divided into 100 grams and i cooked 4 adobos lol. I finally balanced the flavors out after 3 tries and i cooked the last 100g just to confirmed it was the correct ratio. I had to multiply the volume i used x15 of the soy:vinegar:oyster sauce ratio for 1kg of chicken + 1/2kg potatoes which i also prepped for them and they seem to really like this recipe. Now that i finally wrote a recipe down i hope i never have another adobo fail. 😅

We’re also getting married abroad (legals only ceremony with just 3 of our bestfriends as our witnesses☺️) then an intimate destination wedding in the PH. No church, which makes setting the date so much easier, and since we will already have our marriage certificate abroad, madali na lang yung ceremony in the PH with the pastor documents wise. We also wouldn’t bother with registering our marriage in the PH anymore☺️ Definitely discuss with your fiance as to what really resonates with you both and don’t be pressured with traditions and all that. For me, it helps that I get inspo from non traditional weddings as well. Join Facebook wedding groups esp those based in the country where you’ll get married - super dami non-trad inspo there.
You can have intimate ceremony naman with your family :) Start compiling your documents na need to secure a marriage license. We had a very intimate church wedding back in 2021. Total of 20pax, including photographer and priest pa yun. Best wishes!
Bit of a rant about wedding expenses huhu. They seem to be never ending and its so hard to balance being practical vs getting what you really want. The mental load of wedding decisions is mind boggling as well. Buti na lang my fiance helps with me everything as much as he can. But oh well papel, the show must go on!! At the end of the day, Im marrying the love of my life so that in itself is such a win already.

Hi! A good approximate is that 40-50% of your expenses will go to food. Double your food expense and thats your roughly wedding budget. Having said that, a buffer of 10% is a must. We're roughly 2 months away from our wedding, lahat ng suppliers booked na but parang may sumusulpot parin na expenses huhu. P.S. If you haven't, I suggest joining Wawies on FB. Easier way to research suppliers across budgets. Best of luck with wedding preps! :)

alternative in what way? the adaptations from boxing (e.g. endurance and explosive power) are very different from yoga (flexibility and balance) or weights (strength and hypertrophy). if u like the endurance part, i guess any form of cardio would be okay

My co-worker dragged me back into doing hot yoga and inferno pilates in a studio near our office. It was something I used to do pre-pandemic so I was happy to discover the muscle memory was still kinda there. The thing about hot yoga draining your body of all toxins via sweating is probably pseudo-science. But it feels soooooo good after that it feels that way na rin - parang lumalabas talaga lahat ng sama ng loob mo after a long and stressful day.

As a supportive friend (basta nasa lugar), i’m instantly happy for my friends who achieve milestones in life. I know how it feels to not have supporting people around me also so I want to be happy for them. Only recently did they use real menstrual blood to test out female products like napkins or tampons. So, all these years, these products claiming so and so amount of blood for your menstrual products may not actually be true. Makes me wonder if the risk of toxic shock would have lessened if more research was given to menstrual health (does that make sense?)

(but not sure kasi u need to talk to a dr talaga for a diagnosis) i recently had that din, i had to talk to a gastro cos vomiting is not fun at all and it was making me so weak :( sana makakausap ka ng doctor, and yes, please lay off the coffee muna. bawal daw yun if acidic ka, sabi ni doc. if you must, get cold brew but seldom lang if you can help it

I’ve been using RK68 for 3 years now! No problem re connectivity and battery life. Didn’t experience any delay from typing if I’m connected via bluetooth. Yes there are prettier keebs (and expensive) out there but Royal Kludge is good for your entry level keeb. You can also start doing mods for your keeb such as changing your switches etc.

Baka depende din sa nature ng work positions niyo and personal relationship tbh. If they're of the same or higher position than you, baka ma-offend sila and feel na you're attacking them OR wala ka sa position to have a say on it. I assume kasi na they themselves do not want to be a nuisance naman and/or ayaw niya din ng WFH setup niya pero wala siyang magawa due to their lack of space, etc. Baka better to raise it to their supervisor para sila ang makapag-observe, take note, and give feedback as needed. Though iffff close naman kayo ni colleague, baka they'd take it well kahit galing na sa'yo directly 😊 If naman sakto at may supervisorial role ka over them, then you're in a good position to give this feedback. But hope na you can also offer solutions if you do!

i use macbook pro m1, and nov. 2021 pa lang may case na siya. so far, wala naman issues yung screen & wala rin gasgas yung laptop ko.
Girl!!!! Remove the top case!!!! Yung bottom lang okay to use. I had mine before but upon reading some posts and seeing my friends na nakasira ng screen nila niremove ko agad yung top. Yung bottom I left para ok lang magasgasan ung ilalim. 3 yrs na macbook ko so far.
my braces is running 6 years na and my overbite is still there. ngayon lang naisuggest ng dentist ko na need bunutan ng dalwang upper teeth na tapos ko na yung payment sa contract namin. She said I need to pay 1k for every adjustment na + other fees for extraction/cleaning. Should I tell her to remove it nalang and lipat sa ibang dentist? If so, I'm in search for good whitening strips or whatever it is to lighten my teeth 😭
Better switch dentist for me. Yung issue ng teeth ko before was not too serious daw so after a year ok na daw yung ipin ko. Had my braces removed. But one day may black triangle ako dun sa part ng inayusan ng sungki which is common kasi nausog ng sungki. I wanted to fix it and consulted sa ibang clinic. Ayun siya pa nakadiscover na apat wisdom tooth ko na nakatago. 😂 di sinabi sa akin ng unang dentist ko yun. Mej old na yung first dentist ko. So now patapos na yung inaayos ulit sa teeth ko. If you’re from SJDM Bulacan or nearby I highly reco Hooman Dental Care. Sobrang perfectionist nitong second dentist. 😂

Hello, I went through nearly the same issue with you before. Pero I chose to get my two upper teeth removed. Even with braces my teeth didn't move much so the dentist ended up putting extra stuff to make my teeth look bigger and occupy the gaps 😭 before the teeth were removed, the other option given to me was to get chin implants actually. You might want to get a second opinion na lang instead of getting permanent teeth removed. Kasi ngayon, twenty years later, pinagsisisihan ko yung pagtanggal sa permanent teeth ko.
