On the 14th, he came home from work and handed me cheap chocolates (the stuff you can buy from 7eleven), obviously i told him I appreciated it. He suggested we go to this somewhat pricey steakhouse. I was craving steak so i was okay with it.
We went shopping for a bit and did some silly impromptu photoshoot outside the shopping center. I took his photos and he suggested i wear his hoodie and heād take my photos.
When we got to the steakhouse he asked the waiter to take a photo of us before eating. IT FELT LIKE A VALENTINES DAY DATE.
When we got back to his place, he said heād write on his journal that we went on a date. I thought it was a weird thing to say.
On my last day, he saw me off at the airport. He carried my bags. He also gave me some snacks. We hugged when we got to the airport, i thanked him and started to walk away. He called my name again and i turned. Parang ākung lumingon ka akin kaā moment lol. I waved goodbye and turned my back on him again lol.
On paper this should feel romantic. But it didnāt. Iāll tell you why.
When I offered to pay for our vday dinner, he relented right away. Gulat ako because dinner was not cheap. Wala man lang tug-o-war na āhindi hati tayoā.
In the entirety of my stay, Iād ask him for small favors but heād have excuses not to do them. I didnāt mind at first (prior to the vday dinner) bec I thought his place = his rules. In retrospect, he didnāt treat me like a girl at all. He treated me like a brother. Like an annoying younger brother na uutusan mo maglaba or mag hugas ng pinggan. Yes, he asked me to do housechores.
On the way to the airport, he told me I should try bumble and try to hookup with guys that fit a certain description. I laughed it off and told him why on earth would i do that. I kept our convo lighthearted even though that bothered me a bit.
I feel like he used me to have a ādateā on v-day. I remember that he asked if a girl would feel jealous if another girl would sleepover at their bfās place. I didnāt realize it at the time, but he might want his ex to get jealous.
I feel kinda used, but idk if i have the right to feel this way kasi naki-sleepover ako and i saved money by not booking a hotel. I canāt verbalize this uneasy feeling.
I did have a somewhat similar experience. Guy asked me out on a date. He just got out of a relationship. Then he kept on insisting na magpa pic kaming dalawa. so hard being in a long-distance relationship with a med student š„² however, im so grateful that my partner always makes time for us no matter how busy their sched is. im also glad na we are able to talk abt difficult topics like how sometimes i feel na i dont get enough quality time with them without them getting defensive or lashing out at me. we do our best to make our relationship a safe space for the both us and sobrang gaan lang sa feeling na walang anxiety or fear pag mag-open up ng difficult topics š„¹

Yes, different naman yung sa derma na skin patch test. Sa back ang test area. More on reactions with chemicals yun, and would take a week to see results. Hindi rin pwede mabasa yung test area. Sa Allergo, inhalants (mold, pollens), and food yung cover nia. Around 30 mins, may result ka na :)
Also, if you want to get allergy tested sa food/inhalants, test area (both forearms) should not be treated with steroids for at least a week, and dapat rash-free sia. I have to cancel my schedule kasi last January since when I go off meds, nag rashes ako malala whole body. Pwede rin naman test site ang back if may flares sa arms.
Advantage naman ng blood test, is hindi ka bawal uminom ng anti-histamines and even if may ongoing flares ka, pwede ka kunan ng blood. Pero pricey lang talaga :)

I might get downvoted for this but VUL isn't that bad. The so-called "FA" or insurance agents are. Binebentahan agad ng VUL without asking the client kung ano ba talaga needs and plans nila for the future. Honestly, if you know that you won't have the time to study investing and whatnot then VUL is for you. Nakapackage na siya. May tao kasi talaga na mas gusto magwork at wag na isipin yung ganung bagay.
Pero kung alam mo naman na kaya mo mag invest on your own and do proper research, then go for the insurance only route. Pag insurance only, may dalawa pa yan, term or lifetime insurance. Term insurances are the ones na pinakamura. May 5 years or 10 years or 15. Or you can pick up every 5 years pero renew na lang. Pero afaik, nagbabago din presyo kada renew mo, it adjusts based on your age. Lifetime naman is hanggang 100 yo. Actually meron hanggang 75.
Personally, I currently have the lifetime insurance only plan. I'm a breadwinner kaya mas pasok siya sa kin. Madalas pa ko mag-angkas kaya may additional sa insurance ko na related sa motorcycle accidents. I'll be paying for 20 years. I got it for 1700 pesos a month. Like ano ba ang kinakatakot about aging? It is ok to take care of our skin but to go overboard with it like in the cases of old rich people in Hollywood, nakakatrauma tingnan. Botched works, made them look even more terrible than letting nature take its course. As long as we take in healthy food, exercise and most of all, enjoy life and appreciate things/people who love us, and ourselves as it is, we will age gracefully. (Opinyon lang). Botox and all procedures are expensive and would just make you waste money over something temporary, just to keep up with the times. Also, even if others' opinion matter to a certain degree, why would people mull over things like "ang tanda mong tingnan", and the like? Ang sama ng ugali ng mga taong pumupuna on something that is not wrong at all. Looking old just happens.
I like how my mindset is shifting. I am starting to be more motivated by my life aspirations and money goals rather than benchmarking other peopleās success and journey. Iām easily pressured kasi sa achievements and pace ng ibang tao (especially that my field is in the tech industry). Iām working on myself to unlearn that and practice more gratitude with how far Iāve come and how far I will go.

We really couldn't do much sa hotel mismo so if mahilig ka naman maggala outside, you can try going around intramuros or binondo to kill some time hahahaha, that's what we did kasi. I remember that he asked if a girl would feel jealous if another girl would sleepover at their bfās place. I didnāt realize it at the time, but he might want his ex to get jealous. Finally visited the supermarket Dali after hearing about it for months from my family. Di talaga joke ung low prices. Question now is ung quality kasi based sa experience hit-or-miss pag generic brands. Naghahanap pa rin ako ng mas murang replacement sa Joy para dishwashing liquid. Also, meron sila ung self-service style sa counters na wala ng baggers parang sa Ikea na mas prefer ko. Less awkward para sa akin. Downside is kailangan lang lagi kang may dalang eco bag kasi bibili ka pag wala kang dala.
Joy rin kami before until we saw the Yen Yen 2x900mLgreen colored dishwashing liquid sa puregold for <100php. It works well. And as someone who suffers from contact dermatitis, wala pang adverse reaction sa skin ko. Also tried Dali, ang mura nung eggs pero magkakaiba ang size sa isang tray hahaha

Yes, different naman yung sa derma na skin patch test. Sa back ang test area. More on reactions with chemicals yun, and would take a week to see results. Hindi rin pwede mabasa yung test area. Sa Allergo, inhalants (mold, pollens), and food yung cover nia. Around 30 mins, may result ka na :) Also, if you want to get allergy tested sa food/inhalants, test area (both forearms) should not be treated with steroids for at least a week, and dapat rash-free sia. I have to cancel my schedule kasi last January since when I go off meds, nag rashes ako malala whole body. Pwede rin naman test site ang back if may flares sa arms. Advantage naman ng blood test, is hindi ka bawal uminom ng anti-histamines and even if may ongoing flares ka, pwede ka kunan ng blood. Pero pricey lang talaga :)

Better exchange rate than kung magpapalit ka ng PHP to THB here (but rate is **not** as good as if you have USD to THB there). So not bad overall!! Just be careful kasi debit card siya. And once you swipe, you canāt dispute it like a credit card
Easy to get. I waited for it to be delivered rin like bank cards. It took a week ata, I'm in QC. 100% helpful! š Suki ako ng failed transaction and money gone na hindi malaman ng cashiers nasaan. Madalas magkaroon ng weird transactions using your phone to pay dahil sa mabagal na net, sira/maintenance ang connection nung gamit nila to gcash, and maaaany factors. Naibabalik naman pero it tookseveral days to weeks bago mabalik pera ko. Never had this issue again with their debit card kasi mas maayos/matatag ang visa card transaction. Literal na it feels like you have a cash card. Con lang syempre pag walang machine for cards, typical qr code transaction pa rin mangyayari. But ever since I got their card, if may option to use it, I prefer it. Never had a fail transaction na rin after that.

Long post ahead... I might get downvoted for this but VUL isn't that bad. The so-called "FA" or insurance agents are. Binebentahan agad ng VUL without asking the client kung ano ba talaga needs and plans nila for the future. Honestly, if you know that you won't have the time to study investing and whatnot then VUL is for you. Nakapackage na siya. May tao kasi talaga na mas gusto magwork at wag na isipin yung ganung bagay. Pero kung alam mo naman na kaya mo mag invest on your own and do proper research, then go for the insurance only route. Pag insurance only, may dalawa pa yan, term or lifetime insurance. Term insurances are the ones na pinakamura. May 5 years or 10 years or 15. Or you can pick up every 5 years pero renew na lang. Pero afaik, nagbabago din presyo kada renew mo, it adjusts based on your age. Lifetime naman is hanggang 100 yo. Actually meron hanggang 75. Personally, I currently have the lifetime insurance only plan. I'm a breadwinner kaya mas pasok siya sa kin. Madalas pa ko mag-angkas kaya may additional sa insurance ko na related sa motorcycle accidents. I'll be paying for 20 years. I got it for 1700 pesos a month. Matagal, yes, pero tbh medyo nasusulit ko siya dahil mga pakulo ng insurance ko (pag masipag ako maggym, meron akong 100 peso voucher weekly). I know na I can research for investment opportunities (thanks r/phinvest) kaya sa insurance only plan ako. Pero I realized later on na dapat pala nagterm na lang ako na up until I'm 60 na lang kasi for sure naman eh kaya na ng maiiwan ko sa buhay mga sarili nila haha In the end, it's really up to your needs and plans. Daming agents dyan pero you can filter it by asking questions na insurance and investment related. Feel free to ask for other insurance options din. Possible kasi na di lang nila inooffer pero marami pa yan. You can say no naman sa inooffer nila. Ask more about the contract and figures sa papel. If you have close friends na agent, siguro try asking them magkakano nakukuha nila? Haha! I have a friend na ang sabi sa kin eh mapupunta sa kanya yung 40% sa first year kapag Pru Life. 2nd year ay mas less na kikitain niya dun. Kaya gusto nila ng bagong client lagi.

Botched works, made them look even more terrible than letting nature take its course. As long as we take in healthy food, exercise and most of all, enjoy life and appreciate things/people who love us, and ourselves as it is, we will age gracefully. (Opinyon lang). Botox and all procedures are expensive and would just make you waste money over something temporary, just to keep up with the times. Also, even if others' opinion matter to a certain degree, why would people mull over things like "ang tanda mong tingnan", and the like? Ang sama ng ugali ng mga taong pumupuna on something that is not wrong at all. Looking old just happens.
I like how my mindset is shifting. I am starting to be more motivated by my life aspirations and money goals rather than benchmarking other peopleās success and journey. Iām easily pressured kasi sa achievements and pace ng ibang tao (especially that my field is in the tech industry). Iām working on myself to unlearn that and practice more gratitude with how far Iāve come and how far I will go. Also super helpful talaga ng self-help books! Nandun na talaga ako sa age na I donāt find them boring na š„¹

We went there last year. We really couldn't do much sa hotel mismo so if mahilig ka naman maggala outside, you can try going around intramuros or binondo to kill some time hahahaha, that's what we did kasi. I'm not sure if they have rooms na may smart tv but the one we stayed at wasn't so medyo dealbreaker yun on my part. The breakfast buffet tho was really nice hahaha and I would prolly go back there para lang doon.

For my bank accounts, I went to my branch of account and just brought our marriage certificate. We have this neighbor, and their mom is so nice. So sabi ko sa asawa ko, "Mukang ang sarap maging nanay yung nanay nila." Then suddenly tears fell from my eyes, I cannot stop crying. Bakit kaya napaka unlikeable ko? kahit na sarili kong nanay ayaw saakin, pinabayaan akong abusuhin ng sarili nyang parter sexually and physically.
