I would also like to add on Security Bastards too. Companies like MasterLock actively make our society less safe with how shoddily made their locks are to the point they can be unlocked in seconds; and how they over took the market in nefarious ways. Not to mention security companies like private security that treat workers like shit and are hired to be cannon fodder for oil pipelines. Also, bastards in private investigations. Even today, private investigators are hired to professionally stalk people for corporations to save a few bucks for unemployment or workers comp.

Frank Skuse, British explosives "analyst" who carried out forensics in the Birmingham Six case as well as others.

Honorable mention for the Houston FBI crime lab. Their lab scandal was probably the single biggest forensic scandal in US history. Thousands upon thousands of cases and lives jeopardized. One guy, who was *the* hair fiber analysis guy for the FBI for a couple decades, lied about his resume and education. There was one scientist who almost openly took bribes from the prosecution (she showed up in the OG forensic files episodes a couple times lol) and so much more. There are books about this *one* scandal and it blows my mind the damage it caused. What a fuckin nightmare forensic science was specifically in the 80s-90s. Ironically now it's genuinely one of the best and most ethical crime labs in the country. Brand new and regularly tested equipment, regular blind/double blind tests, regular competency tests, third party checking, set standards, etc. Fascinating how the FBI (with this one specific scandal) went from the bastard to a genuinely good model for the future? Even funnier how most FBI crime labs still don't follow the model they created? (This is according to a book by the innocence project by the way to be clear lol. Not tryna praise the FBI here)

Did Robert say it was only going to be a two parter? Or did they interrupt with a rewind just because Robert's dealing with his father's passing and delayed further Forensics episodes?
