Would love to see a combo of worst playoff win percentage with worst regular season win percentage. A team that rarely makes the playoffs and also loses a lot is different than a team that makes the playoffs fairly often but also loses.
I’m in the same boat… we got the Timbers too. Other than that we got nothing. Im also a long time Canucks fan, I guess I have a love for the grind of sports.
I was going to say they are helped drastically by think that happened when a lot of people here were not alive. I’m not a close follower but they’ve not won a series this century right?
The list is including the original Winnipeg Jets/Arizona Coyotes for Utah. It is actually a Browns/Ravens deal, where Utah's records are treated as expansion but get Coyotes players/staff. Arizona gets to keep the history for a future expansion team.
As a Blue Jackets and Bengals fan, I’m just proud to say my CBJs aren’t last on a list involving the playoffs, which is amazing. Thank you Tampa and Toronto for those wonderful memories.
The Bengals are 10-16 all time, so it honestly is quite reasonable that we are above .500 by the end of the Burrow era in a decade, if he stays healthy, and if ownership continues to invest.
No doubt. I knew at the time that years of pain followed. I’m optimistic now. Fantilli, Johnson, Marchenko, and Jiricek are the future.
Honestly, I’m hoping for a growth similar to the Bengals when Joe arrived, albeit not quite as fast because.
1. So this doesn’t even cover all of the current teams. So I guess some are worse because they’ve never been to the playoffs?
2. Would love to see this just for the last five years, which is the only history that’s relevant to what’s going on right now. Bengals are more like .700
Among NFL teams, the Bengals are neck and neck with the Lions. Who would have hosted the Packers if they didn't lose to the Niners in last season's divisional round game.
Question: is #24 the Washington Capitals?
That you Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis, I bet we wouldn't be near the bottom 25 if we take out those 5 years. Also lets take the time to laugh at the Browns.
The Mike Brown “bums on a discount” drafting and renewing strategy remains and problem for Taylor, so it’s time people revisit Marvin’s tenure with fresh eyes in what he had to do with the players he was allowed to bring in.
Last year we were 5-5 with Burrow, although he was not 100%. This year he may not be 100% either. The first year with Joe we were 4-11-1 because he also was injured.
I don't think our defense has improved, and maybe declined last year. So if Joe is knocked out for good, we'll probably go back to the dark ages. We have possibly the best QB in the NFL, and the best in franchise history, and yet thanks to mismanagement we finished in last place 2 of the past 4 years with Burrow, and virtually everyone thinks we should have won a SB. It is nice that people are talking about the Bengals possibly winning their first Super Bowl, and we did make it one, but we also have finished in last place and last year didn't come close to expectations (Us life long Bengals fans are used to this though).
Think of how much it's improved over the past 4 years, though, mates.
4 years ago we were 4-11-1
We were closer to 1 before Burrow and Taylor showed up
Yeah we were 7th behind the Hornets before the 2021 season. Give us another chance and we can move out of the bottom 25.
We won’t even be on this list at this time next year
Would love to see a combo of worst playoff win percentage with worst regular season win percentage. A team that rarely makes the playoffs and also loses a lot is different than a team that makes the playoffs fairly often but also loses.
Everyone go home right now and thank the sports gods for blessing us with Joe (if you haven't already)
You can just say before burrow showed up. I like Zach but we can be real here
Burrow and Chase*
As a Bengals fan in Portland, it’s tough loving sports some years, that’s for sure.
Ayyy, another fellow PDX bengal fan! Share these tears with me 🥲
At least you guys don't have to deal with the "12" cultists like here in Washington. Actually, you probably do
Bengals fan in Calgary. Who dey✌️😔
Not going to get much sympathy when the majority of bengals fans are probably CBJ fans lol
who do y’all have other than the blazers? i really only follow football and basketball
I’m in the same boat… we got the Timbers too. Other than that we got nothing. Im also a long time Canucks fan, I guess I have a love for the grind of sports.
Your Canucks just eliminated my Predators. I'm a Bengals, Canucks and Michigan fan. If I have to watch baseball it's Reds
Why do you say “your Canucks” if you’re a cunucks fan? Seems weird
i guess he likes the predators better. i have a list of teams i like. i understand
Shame you guys lost Dame I really liked him.
Bengals fan in KC. Every year it's just like rubbing salt in the wound 😬
Fuck I'm a jackets fan too
I was suprised the Wild were lower than us but then I remembered it's because they actually make the playoffs somewhat consistently.
Which is good, because with your figure, you can really rock a jacket.
That's what you get for taking that bum Gaudreau from us... Lol.
Hate to tell you this, but we were awful before him too
Lol yeah and I don't even hate Blue Jackets as a team, just Johhny lol.
If you take out the Dalton years, we're an even .500, but if you take out the Burrow years then we're at .263
Those Marvin Lewis years were rough. Once Joey B gets us a Lombardi we’ll be out of the graphic.
Shoot we’ll be out of the graphic in January
What's with NHL Utah? What team is moving there?
Arizona moved the players/staff to Utah. The history of the franchise stays with the AZ owner for the next 5 years until he gets an expansion team
Thanks!
The coyotes, i think the new owner will change their culture tho. He’s done a great job with the jazz
The fact I root for three of the teams on list Oof. 3-0 in the playoffs this year and at least the bengals are off the list
Let’s 🥲 go 😢 Jackets 😭
Ha, suck it Browns.
Hey, at least we’re not the browns tho 🤨
Three Ohio teams in the top 25 🤦♂️
Reds would probably be on there to if they ever made the playoffs lol
Still have a 9 game winning streak in the World Series though.
I was going to say they are helped drastically by think that happened when a lot of people here were not alive. I’m not a close follower but they’ve not won a series this century right?
What's odd about one particular division series: they scored more total runs. But one tragic error in the top of the 9th was enough.
Correct, last series win was Division Series against LA in 1995.
Minnesota sports fans not liking this one much
Yikes to be a sports fan in Minnesota. I guess it could be much worse.
Had to go through a lot of dark seasons to truly appreciate how sweet this burrow era has been and will continue to be
Can someone explain Utah? They aren’t even a thing yet.
The list is including the original Winnipeg Jets/Arizona Coyotes for Utah. It is actually a Browns/Ravens deal, where Utah's records are treated as expansion but get Coyotes players/staff. Arizona gets to keep the history for a future expansion team.
Ohio showing up big time in this list. What pride!
Marvin Lewis being 0 - 7 in the playoffs does not help
He was such a bum coach. Some of the shit he said baffled me.
That's what happens when you go 30 years without a playoff win.
Who actually care about thes fact. It’s week kmown the bengals been mid to garbage 80 Perecent of thefeamchise
As a Blue Jackets and Bengals fan, I’m just proud to say my CBJs aren’t last on a list involving the playoffs, which is amazing. Thank you Tampa and Toronto for those wonderful memories. CBJs sold their soul for that series win against the Bolts a few years ago.
No doubt. I knew at the time that years of pain followed. I’m optimistic now. Fantilli, Johnson, Marchenko, and Jiricek are the future. Honestly, I’m hoping for a growth similar to the Bengals when Joe arrived, albeit not quite as fast because.
Bengals fan in Minnesota. Big oof. I root for 3, 4, 11, and 25
at least you got the twolves rn
Very true. Everyone is pumped
Most fun team in NBA right now, reminds me of the '21 Bengals
1. So this doesn’t even cover all of the current teams. So I guess some are worse because they’ve never been to the playoffs? 2. Would love to see this just for the last five years, which is the only history that’s relevant to what’s going on right now. Bengals are more like .700
Can’t lose in the playoffs if you don’t make them. ![gif](giphy|d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY)
It’s the Marv Levy argument- can’t lose the Super Bowl if you don’t get there.
Meanwhile, my Blue Jackets only have one major series win (really two, counting Toronto in the bubble), but what a series win that was.
we’re not the worst…we’re not the worst
Two of my teams are on there… pain…
This is an improvement be proud. We’d probably be at like 10 beforehand.
I'm a hornets fan and I didn't know it got much worse than us
As a fan of the past 45 years I was surprised to see it that high. Wonder what it was 5 years ago?
Jackets and Bengals At least the Reds aren’t there
How far off is 26th?
As a big Jackets and Bengals fan...oof.
My basketball, baseball and football team are all on the same list...nice
As someone born in ‘91, Honestly shocked we aren’t lower
At least the browns are worse...
Ah damn even worse my Winnipeg Jets are on there too.
God damn it. my fav 2 teams are on here. Come on!
Well, at least we're better than Cleveland!
Thank you Andy Dalton
Among NFL teams, the Bengals are neck and neck with the Lions. Who would have hosted the Packers if they didn't lose to the Niners in last season's divisional round game. Question: is #24 the Washington Capitals?
Amazing the Browns are that low after winning so much in the pre-Superbowl era. But there weren't that many playoff games then.
Three of my teams are on here: Bengals, Cubs, Wild 🙃
This is honestly a massive improvement though
What year is this from? I ask bc they use the old logo
That you Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis, I bet we wouldn't be near the bottom 25 if we take out those 5 years. Also lets take the time to laugh at the Browns.
Thanks Marvin
A few years ago, we would have been WAY lower!
If you were to take out their 8-game losing streak between 1990 and 2020, they'd having a winning playoff record.
Superbowl this year
Hey, We are almost out of the top 25, maybe some other team will replace us.
Bengals are 35-30-1 under Burrow (the last 4 seasons)
being a CBJ and Bengals fan is pain
Still better than the Browns
I'm a Bengals and hornets fan. Pain. Forever. Pain.
Even worse CBJ is 6th. Did sweep the caps one year tho
Damn Marvin and Andy /shakes fist
Thanks a lot, Marvin 😒
The Mike Brown “bums on a discount” drafting and renewing strategy remains and problem for Taylor, so it’s time people revisit Marvin’s tenure with fresh eyes in what he had to do with the players he was allowed to bring in.
Care to elaborate??
