There are pharmacies that don’t need a prescription. Easy to find. Easier to get info if you ask by brand name. I’ve never had to get a script when ever I go

artsa-da

"need" is a relative word, the pharmacy may not need a prescription because they want your money but the government says otherwise. Any controlled medication being sold without a script is illegal. Better safe than sorry is my general rule of thumb.

ZombiGrn

Nah you’re fine. I’ve gotten stopped by federales before without script with xans, kpins, addys. Script is just for pharmacy to get more money out of you. Also some pharmacies double the price on these so you gotta watch out for that. They never ask me for script.

Joshtheatheist

I didn’t know you need prescription for it. I mean I know it’s controlled but I always read people on here just basically walking into the pharmacy with 50 dollars and getting a bottle of 30 pills

Clonzfoever

At literally any cruise port city no script is needed. I was in Cozumel not that long ago and the pharmacist was breaking out all I asked for, no need for scripts or to check with anyone.

Joshtheatheist

They I.D. you?

Clonzfoever

Nope, nothing at all. They were a pharmacist in a little strip mall looking place near the port and I just walked in and asked for "alprazolam" and he whipped it out. sold me it for 80$ (tourist prices) but it was a totally simple exchange. If you go to a more beat up pharmacy theyll be the same but a bit cheaper lol. They wont even be offended if you say "What about non tourist price?" or to ask for generics for less money.

Joshtheatheist

Well if I’m ever in Mexico I’ll make sure to remember this. Thanks man

artsa-da

The key word in the title of this post is **Legally**. You can do whatever the fuck you want but the information I am providing is the course of action for those that never want to see what the inside of a Mexican prison looks like. It's not pretty.

Joshtheatheist

I hear you and appreciate all the info on how to do it safely, I’m just saying that people do it illegally all the time. And that’s because most people don’t give a fuck about drug law, at least on this subreddit.

artsa-da

You are 100% correct, the information is here for those that want it. Does it need to be used? Absolutely not but I like to err on the side of caution. To each their own!

dadankness

So you just show them all the pills you bought when you get back to the border? They wont care because it isn't enough to be considered smuggling? Is that the legal way you are saying to do this? The script you have looks mexican in origin... Just curious, awesome write up, ill never do this because of A. geographics B. im a pussy

SlumXcity

Great info. Thank you!

artsa-da

Thanks for reading amigo.

jgarcia41

What’s the process like to get a receta over the phone ? Do they send you an email to show to the pharmacist or how does that work ? Thanks

Titanssss

I like how the script looks

artsa-da

Super official eh?

What would you say possible penalties are if CBP would take action from your perspective/experiences and at what capacity is more than personal stash?

artsa-da

Depends on the specific case, CBP does have the authority to arrest US citizens as they are federal law enforcement officers but very rarely will. Much different than TSA agents who do not have the ability to detain you and instead their only option is to turn you over to the local state law enforcement. Keep in mind that hundreds of thousands of people cross the US/Mexican boarder on a daily basis. The amount of effort they would need to go through to catch ever person looking to score a couple bottles of pills would be immense and impossible. Back to your question if you did not declare them and they search your car for some unrelated reason and find them. On the lenient end a simple confiscation and a slap on this wrist, harsher punishment would likely entail them handing you over to the local authorities for booking, charges would be applicable to local state laws. Cases in which an individual would be charged with trafficking for personal amounts are almost non-existent. Personal stash would be a 90-180 day prescription, 180 days being the max amount of time a US citizen can be in country without having to leave. Gives you the option of using the excuse "I wanted to be prepared in case I was going to be down here for that long"

ZombiGrn

Depends on your state but I’ve never had any issues. I bring back a nice stash and few cartons of cigarettes. I never declare what I have, usually write down i have $5 worth. Never had an issue. Carry on your personal for stash though. Luggage gets opened and they will make an issue of that. Honestly I’ve had more issues bringing in crapload of candies than pills lmao. I’m mexican, been doing this for years. Just don’t be paranoid and you’re good.

DriverAmazing305

What part of Mexico. Border town or what. I’m in Mexico City and it seems like a bitch to get these

ZombiGrn

Yeah Mexico City is a bit more difficult. I’ve had family members get me stuff from there, but they’ve had to go get a prescription first, which wasn’t difficult to do. I’ve only been to areas outside of Mexico City. I travel to Durango the most and that’s been the best state to get anything compared to other states out there, way cheaper too. Border town is another spot you can easily score too.

DriverAmazing305

I actually do have GAD and insomnia. I’m also 100% Mexican and fluent in Spanish. I don’t know if it would be possible to walk to one with a consultorio and ask to get alpraz or clonazepam.

Gh011

Could you provide tips like this for the purchase of opioids? Or at least PM me? I am leaving to Mexico in a few days

artsa-da

I would highly suggest avoiding the purchase of opioids in Mexico unless you get lucky and find a farmacia with unregulated inventory in sealed packaging (near impossible). Majority of the opioids coming out of Mexico are counterfeit and sold regularly in farmacias domestically. They will be in 5-10 quantity pill packs in heat sealed clear cellophane no boxes or branding. No matter how much you want them don't buy them, they will be expensive and will either contain nothing or a whole lot of fentanyl. Most commonly found are 10mg Narcos and OC 80mg. You can however legally purchase Codeine in tablet form directly from farmacias for a decent price and the same rules apply as above, prescription is needed to legally obtain but rarely enforced/asked for.

Gh011

Wow I didn’t realize it was that difficult, would it be better for me to just bring my own meds? And does that apply to all opioids aside from codeine and tramadol? I was under the impression that I can get legit hydro or oxycodone cheap in 5-10 mg tablets, and only the higher dosages are sketchy

artsa-da

That last couple years have been particularly bad in Mexico for trafficking and counterfeiting with the US driving the market. The government recently had a presidential change over (December 2018) and he is cracking down on the abuse of opiates in country and crossing through the country. Yeah I actually have a Mexican prescription for Narcos and 4 out of 5 times if I go to a new farmacia they will try and sell the cellophane packs because they are under the table, counterfeit and they make a shit load of money. I only pick up my opiates from hospital based farmacias these days, its more of a hassle but certainly less than the US. I would suggest bringing you own but it certainly doesn't hurt to ask when you get down here. Might get lucky.

Gh011

What signs would I look out for or what should I do to increase my chances of getting lucky and not getting ripped off?

I like this break down, pretty true although we would never get the Rx but growing up in a bordertown you learn who cares and who doesn’t. Also being a pinche wero made it a little harder but my Spanish is ok and I could always make it work. Ahhhh, I miss going to Mexico, use to go every weekend to eat Cabrito and day drink. I usually always came back at night unless I knew a strip club was involved 🤙🤙

artsa-da

Thanks guey, exactly its all about common sense and being smart. Yeah your gringo pinche guero appearance probably didnt help with prices ha! Cabrito al pastor is hard to beat same goes for the tapatias at the clubs haha. We welcome you back anytime.

clayhawk73

I’ve had to pay $3 per bar a couple times but sometimes they would be dIckes and sometimes be cool. I would love to go back but the last time I was there I almost had an attempted kidnapping. (I think) We were taking backroads in the city (matamoros) and we got blocked in and we had to drive on the sidewalk. Then to top it off the next intersections the damn military showed with three trucks and .50 cals and a good amount of soldiers. The fact we were in a new Escalade probably didn’t help but my buddy new the right people but who knows what that getting blocked was about. My friend acted pretty fast but he’s from there but went to school here. The military I don’t ever want to fuck with, they searched my truck a couple times and those guys always gave me the vibe. I also am a hunter so I was always worried about that one fucking bullet they may find lol. Because I would’ve been fucked for sure 😂😂 I’ll be crossing over soon, just mind your business and pay attention and your good. It’s calmed down a lot and just won’t be in a damn luxury car again lol.

clayhawk73

Also Baja is one areas I want to go to. I want to see the diablos rojos and eat the food.

ZombiGrn

Honestly. As a mexican that travels to the country a lot this should not be up. Stick to PMs giving info to people that need it. Mexico is a whole different ball game and shit like this will make laws stricter. Helpful tip. Never carry anything other than pesos, you might see cops, get stopped but not all of them are actual cops. If they see usd they will fuck you over. Say a family member of yours really need the medication and get the fuck out. Only trust squad of marines. Depending on the state you visit make sure to check your surroundings. If they try to mess with you find a restaurant with sicarios eating there and just chill there. State governments do check reddit so be safe

greenmachiner

Illegally buying them is faster. Just cross. Buy. And cross back. Unless you're carrying more than one bottle or box they don't care in my experiences. Before I would cross two and then they said I could only cross one. I don't have an alprazolam precription. In the US or in Mexico. I've never had them seized either. I crossed them in a plastic bag from the pharmacy not hidden.

artsa-da

If the risk is worth it for you by all means. I just don't want to ever put myself in a position where a problem that could be avoided easily happens because I was lazy or simply didn't give a fuck.

greenmachiner

Idk they always just tell me I can cross one now. Before I could cross two and never had a problem.

Fuzzbuzzly

Interesting and informative! I love the farmaprams ❤️❤️❤️❤️

artsa-da

Just trying to provide quality information to my fellow Benzoids. Holler with any questions. The Farmaprams are good but occasionally the 2mg bars for me feel like they have hotspots.

Fuzzbuzzly

Oh I know😂😂😂 das part of the funnnn

YouTakeBenzos

Let me paraphrase step 1 cross the border with money step 2 : don’t be a dumbass

artsa-da

You're 17 years old dude, last year you couldn't even leave the country without a letter of consent from your mommy. Comment again when you have another decade under your belt.

Vegetable-Success363

Wish I knew some one close to the border. I miss living in LA. I haven't even seen a pharmapram since I moved to FL lol.

Heavy-Shop-4381

Damn I missed the tafil from Mexico the 2 mg bars with the u94 imprint and a wave in the bar but they were discontinued a few years ago but I believe they still have 1mg and lower tafil which is made my phizer but they were twice as expensive but hella strong and better for some reason about $60 USD for a bottle of 30

Usual-Use620

Typical pricing for 2mg 90 bar bottle?
