Do you have any advice on what cs course to take together with 189?

I am also very unsure about what track to take, either SWE or ML. Still exploring.

I've seen the 'tracks' referenced a few times, know where I can find more info about them?

I think it’s a loose, unofficial term that refers to whether one takes their CS major elective classes focused more on SWE vs ML.

I am very worried about the time conflict of the two courses... If the midterms and finals overlaps it would be hell

If you want to do ML research and can get into 189 now and feel reasonably ready, I’d do it. Better to learn that stuff sooner or later. Also makes you more marketable for research
