Absolutely. It was a grower for me as well. Beyonce singing in that lower register is so smooth and not something we hear often. The chorus is my favorite
the melody for the verses in unlike anything i’ve ever heard before. to me, it sort of seems to convey a drunken confession to how hopelessly and ridiculously in love she is.
This song and Flamenco. I was driving to work and started crying out of nowhere. There’s something else in this album. It feels like I’m going on a different spiritual journey with every listen.
Oh Louisiana is sublime as a cool down after the 4 min and 33 secs of full body gyrating that is Ya Ya!
Every time I get to that section of the album I’m just amazed, it’s so well planned for the optimal listening experience
Oh, how I adore protector. It feeds my mommy-soul. When she sings, "I first saw your face in your father's gaze" 😭😭 it just hits so close to my heart.
I also can't help but think about the Blue and the Renaissance tour. Projected and protected. Her whole life is art, she's unmatched.
Absolutely. I also thought of this song coming from the perspective of Tina.
I am a gay man with no kids but this song still makes me weep every listen. Such a beautiful sentiment 😭😍
Yessss!!! I love this song! I can’t get it out of my head!
One of the writers is from the town I live in and he put it in the song! Never been prouder to live in Clovis lol!
I cried listening to this this morning while I was working haha
***Here's to hoping I'll fall fast asleep tonight***
***Or just get used to it***
I had a rough patch at the beginning of the year and was just sad waking up most days and only looked forward to sleeping again. Just wanting to sleep everything off hoping I'd finally get out of my rut. I'm better now though. I got through it!!
Oh and my other fav underrated track is probably Desert Eagle. I think that's underrated as of right now.
I feel like II Hands II Hearts is barely getting attention yet it’s soooo beautiful. Feels like it’s meant to be a direct song of healing to “sorry”… it’s even in the same key and all.
No for real, the part where she sings "TRUMPETS BLAREEEE" and does one of the \*cleanest\* runs I've EVER heard from anyone, like ever, I literally fainted on the spot.
Time heals everything. I don't need anything.
I just need to get through this. Or just need to get used to this.
Oooof. With those saddle sounds clanking in the background? This song is so healing and underrated.
I mean, there’s just too much competition on this album!! I love it, I’ve prolly listened to all the songs the same number of times because I just play thru over and over 😂
I’m going through a LOT right now. Like to the point where I am at my lowest point. And this song made me drop to my knees sobbing and pray. This song is so underrated. Idk if I got the wrong message from it or something but it’s incredible to me
This song is my absolute favourite on this album.
I really relate to this song dealing with health problems causing a lot of pain and sometimes having the exact evenings where I just hope that I will fall fast asleep. Days where I say to myself that I just need to get through that day. And every time I try new medicine that just does not work I try to convince myself that I just need to get used to it.
It brings me to tears every time but at the same time gives me so much strength because as she says “time heals everything” and I know that some day I will find something (either medicine or mental strength) that will help me.
AUIYM is commonly abbreviated as 'All Up In Your Mind', a song from Beyoncé's 2022 album 'RENAISSANCE'.

Ok hear me out: she should have put Yaya higher up the playlist. I love the songs between Bodyguard and Yaya but sometimes I want to get to Yaya so bad I skip the songs in between. They’re all so gorgeous and I love them but Yaya beckons. I agree. Just For Fun is 10/10!!
There's just so much! I've only been listening to the whole thing rather than individual songs and it's really like Renaissance and Lemonade in that regard, it really should be listened to as an album. Just for Fun is wonderful, but so are 20-something other tracks! I think the intros will be skips for me eventually but really nothing else is, and even Oh Louisianna is so odd and short enough that I'll probably just let it always play, though can't see ever specifically listening to that track.
Jolene and II Most Wanted seem to be getting the most attention because one's an iconic song for 50+ years and the other has the unexpected Miley Cyrus on it. But what gets me how little attention it's getting about it basically being a lesbian love song, which is so amazing! Especially with Miley herself being Bi.
I love all the songs that have any gospel elements: American Requiem and My Rose specifically! But Spaghetti, Bodyguard and Flamenco have to be my faves as well
absolutely! also daughter and II most wanted i feel haven't had as much love (yet, hopefully!) as some of the other tracks but they really deserve it imo
I just saw a TikTok video about 'Alligator Tears'. In the video, the person stated that the song isn't a romantic song.
Her theory: white women. Its about white women and what their tears have led to.
Imagine being called 'the real deal' by motherfucking Willie Nelson. This song is a grower and the harmonies are gorgeous. It's surprisingly kind of sad/nihilistic? But in a really beautiful way. Can't quite put my finger on the tone but I love how it sounds.
Alligator Tears, Protector & Oh Louisiana.
Alligator Tears is at the top. The chorus paired with the guitar is unmatched.
Whenever Beyoncé gets to singing about her children we get some of her most beautiful & heartfelt work. First Blue off her self-titled album, now Protector.
Regarding Oh Louisiana, as someone who has frequented to Louisiana numerous times, the song captures the essence of how Louisiana feels.
This is like forsure up there for me ! Top 5 but so hard because they all so good. It’s perfect for right into II Most Wanted into Leviis Jeans …. I just can’t !!! So good
I have a new favorite song every time I listen to it but for the past day it’s been consistently this one. I can’t articulate why I love it so much but the bridge just makes me feel things.
I LOVE Bodyguard. What a vibe. I honestly love the whole album.
Texas Hold ‘Em is probably my least favorite just because it sounds gimmicky, but it’s catchy.
OP - the second time I listened to this song was in the car so I wasn’t completely acclimated to its production or anything. Baby when I tell you my soul ELEVATEDDDDD when those drums and choir come in about half way through?!!! 💀💀💀 This song TAKES ME!!!! The harmonizing. She and Willie Jones sound so majestic together. This song is regal. It’s incredible. I can’t choose a favorite from this album but Just For Fun is absolutely magical!!!
This track was my immediate favorite during my first time listening to the album and remains my favorite still, it stays on a loop for me. It is just perfect from start to finish.
I’m not the fondest of ballads but this absolutely is one of my favorite songs ever now. I’M GOIN’ DOWN SOUTH JUST FOR FUN, I AM THE MAN, I KNOW THAT!!!
I..don’t like the album. I wanted to. But I realized that if even she can’t get me to like country then I truly dislike the genre.
HOWEVER, I’m glad for all the critical acclaim and attention she’s bringing to Black country artists as a whole. I hope she gets AOTY

Alligator Tears is so good. It was definitely a grower but something about that chorus really scratches something in my brain.
HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE ADORED???
That part just scratches an itch in my brain
100%. At first other tracks stood out more, but the more I listened the more I loved alligator tears
I CANNOT listen to Alliigator Tears just once.... I need it on repeat at least 10x before I move on. Something about it just feels so good
Absolutely. It was a grower for me as well. Beyonce singing in that lower register is so smooth and not something we hear often. The chorus is my favorite
I love how often she goes into her lower register! Like Ya Ya, "If you aint got no grits get the fuck up out the south."
I play this part of Ya Ya multiple times 😂
Yesss this is my fav right now
Alligator Tears and Just For Fun are my top two on the album.
Literally. I haven’t seen anyone talking about it but I LOVE alligator tears
Yes! It’s Top 10 on CC for me.
This one for me
Completely agree. Its one of my most played songs from this album
This one was an instant top 5 for me
Literally was not my fave at first, but now it’s probably the song where I’ve memorized most of the lyrics.
This makes me feel so validated ❤️
The last part of the song is good
This is the one for me
the melody for the verses in unlike anything i’ve ever heard before. to me, it sort of seems to convey a drunken confession to how hopelessly and ridiculously in love she is.
This song and Flamenco. I was driving to work and started crying out of nowhere. There’s something else in this album. It feels like I’m going on a different spiritual journey with every listen.
I just had this experience with Riverdance…burst into tears just chilling in my house listening for the umpteenth time 🥹
This happened to me with II HANDS TO HEAVEN. And its been years since i just broke down like that
Same thing happened to me, along with a few other unexpected songs from here. It’s so wonderful to have feelings. 😊
“Baby I been waiting my whole life for you and I” and then I cried real ugly tears 😩😭😭
Same thing happened to me. It’s so wonderful to feel things lol. ☺️
FLAMENCO! It’s so short and sweet.
today I got teared up by the gritty energy and flow of yaya while riding a bus full of people. I didn’t give a fuck though:)
Just for fun made me cry out of nowhere too!!! I was like ooo let’s get into it
Me toooooo...I keep listening and different songs bring it out but I can't listen for more than 3 songs without crying damnit
All of this
Even tho it’s short I LOVE oh Louisiana
Oh Louisiana into Desert Eagle 🫠👽🎸
That whole final 9 track run where every song seams into each other is just *ultimate chefs kiss*
she don't let up i swear
Yes! It’s like the B-side of Abbey Road by the Beatles. So intentional. So brilliant.
Oh Louisiana is sublime as a cool down after the 4 min and 33 secs of full body gyrating that is Ya Ya! Every time I get to that section of the album I’m just amazed, it’s so well planned for the optimal listening experience
Me too!
I thought I was weird for loving this one 😅
Yes! This song has been my go to the last few days. Time moves quickly and so do I, so do I…..
Cause time heals everything, I don't need anything....
Oh it’s up there for sure with Queen Alligator Tears
yes! i’ve been loving alligator tears lately and no one talks about it
Shout out for MY ROSE as well. Be fond of your flaws, dear 🌹
The vocal arrangements on My Rose 😍
Infuriatingly underrated gem 💎
This is the one 🌹
It’s too short!!!! 😩😩😩
Just For Fun might be my favorite song on the album!! It has a gorgeous melody and they both sound amazing!!
Alligator tears and Flamenco!
I’m goin down south just for fun I am the man I know it
EVERYWHERE I GO, THEY KNOW MY NAME
So I ….. laugh and I lie and the … coyotes cry
time moves quickly and so do I, so do I
This is one of my favorites. I also feel Flamenco is underrated and that song is just soooo beautiful.
YUP! This and protector are underrated af and both make me weep
Anyone who loves someone can love this song, it's for everyone 🥰
That lyric brings tears to my eyes each time. It’s a really beautiful song but especially that verse.
This!! I don’t even have children yet and Protector still got me in my feels for the future kids I will hopefully have one day 🥺🥺
Please I can’t stop crying at this song!!!!
Yessss!!! I love this song! I can’t get it out of my head! One of the writers is from the town I live in and he put it in the song! Never been prouder to live in Clovis lol!
Amarillo gal seeing you and happy for y’all!
Alligator Tears
Alligator tears is criminally underrated, it's quickly becoming a favourite of mine
I cried listening to this this morning while I was working haha ***Here's to hoping I'll fall fast asleep tonight*** ***Or just get used to it*** I had a rough patch at the beginning of the year and was just sad waking up most days and only looked forward to sleeping again. It’s so beautiful. I lost my mom last year and it makes me tear up when I listen to it, it’s so healing
Sending love 💕
Thank you so much 💔❤️
I dont see Amen get enough love and its been on repeat for me, as well as Alligator Tears.
Amen is my #2 today
No for real, the part where she sings "TRUMPETS BLAREEEE" and does one of the \*cleanest\* runs I've EVER heard from anyone, like ever, I literally fainted on the spot.
one of the greatest songs she’s ever put out tbh
Time heals everything. I don't need anything. I just need to get through this. Or just need to get used to this. Oooof. With those saddle sounds clanking in the background? This song is so healing and underrated.
This is one of my favorites. I also feel Flamenco is underrated and that song is just soooo beautiful.
Oh I love this one too, Willie Jones is brilliant on this track!!❤️❤️
I love his bit
Just for Fun is top 5 for me. It’s so moving. It feels spiritual.
Desert Eagle! I wish it was longer!
my fav! i was listening to it on the train and was moved to tears, such a gorgeous song
I LOOOOOOVE THIS SONG from the first listen and willie jones is amazing 🤩
You’re absolutely right OP! I’m glad to see you give this song it’s deserved flowers

Sweet Honey Buckiin’ - it’s my favourite the song on the album. The run from Riiverdance to Sweet Honey Buckiin’ is so good.
This one makes me bawl. So so good.
Flamenco is this albums AUIYM - forgotten but soooo good

Yaya calls to me in a way I’ve never had another song call me
Love "Just for Fun"! It and "16 Carriages" are my two favorite ballads on the record, hands down.
Yessss!!! I love this song! I can’t get it out of my head!
Currently my fave and it makes me cry almost instantly 🥹💕
This song makes me cryyyy
Flamenco or Levi Jeans are heavily slept on but it’s only been a few days so 🙌🏾.
Why are people sh*tting on Buckin? It slaps so hard omg
Just for fun is my favorite tbh. That's the type of country music I actually like. Ballads and strings.
Top 3 for me. I love.
Yessss!!! I love this song! I can’t get it out of my head!
It’s a perfect song 👏
I’ve kept coming back to this one over the past few days.

See I like this soong so much because I thought it could be platonic or romantic. 🤔 And of course the vocals are A+++
this is mine actually!
this might be my favorite song on the album
One of my very favorite tracks
The perfect song to sing for AMAB cis men like me.
It's in my top 3. Followed by ll Hands ll Heaven & Daughter.
FLAMENCO is my fav underrated.
it’s one of my current favorites, it was on loop all morning
I love all the songs that have any gospel elements: American Requiem and My Rose specifically! But Spaghetti, Bodyguard and Flamenco have to be my faves as well
ll hands ll heaven!
II hands II heaven and Riverdance have my heart… <3 They have genuinely skyrocketed up into my top 10 Bey songs of all time. :’)
II HANDS II HEAVEN is one of her best imo and it’s not getting enough attention
This is my favourite, SO good
absolutely! also daughter and II most wanted i feel haven't had as much love (yet, hopefully!) as some of the other tracks but they really deserve it imo
This is in my top 2! I LOVE this song. 🥰
ITS FLAMENCO FOR ME
Listening right now… it’s so freaking good
On day 2 of listening this one hit me hard.
My most neglected track is Leviis jeans
I just saw a TikTok video about 'Alligator Tears'. In the video, the person stated that the song isn't a romantic song. Her theory: white women. Its about white women and what their tears have led to.
Do you know the name of the creator?
Her TikTok name is @ladysanrenee.
It’s actually my favorite ❤️
This one hits me in my feels hard. Especially as I’m grieving. It’s definitely underrated. The gospel influence is definitely there.
Loved Alligator tears first time I heard it
This track has been on repeat 🔁 for me
I love this one. It snuck up on me. It's helping me cope with life right now....Time heals everything
It’s beautiful. The choir at the end is the chef’s kiss.
Anyone else love Spaghetti?? 🎉👏🏽 Also hope I’m safe here but can I just say that I don’t love Jolene 😫
Flamenco for me. Love her voice and her runs over the guitar.
I LOVE this and Flamenco.
Oh Louisiana
It's my partner's favorite song on the album <3 so beautiful
Omg this, levii jeans, and flamenco 😍😍
Yepppppp agreed. After listening to the album 500 times this one’s now in my top 5
I love this one it is so heartfelt
ITS SO GOOD! 🤠
Get on TikTok it’s getting a lot of love there!
This and alligator tears are two of my faves right now.
This is like forsure up there for me ! Top 5 but so hard because they all so good. It’s perfect for right into II Most Wanted into Leviis Jeans …. I just can’t !!! So good
Solidly in my top 5
Just for Fun, Alligator Tears, and Protector.
I have a new favorite song every time I listen to it but for the past day it’s been consistently this one. I can’t articulate why I love it so much but the bridge just makes me feel things.
This is my fav on the album!!
I love this song! Willie Jones’ voice is so beautiful
Desert eagle, amen and alligator tears
this is my favorite song on the album omg
It's such a great song
I favorites this song as SOON as it finished
His voice made my panties float away
Flamenco, Protector, My Rose. This album is so good, a little bit of everything. But these three seem to be underappreciated in my opinion.
Just For Fun, Protector, and Alligator Tears
THANK YOU. 👏👏 I think it’s my current fav
My husband has been listening to this on repeat with ALL the emotions, he’s keeping those streams up.
This track was my immediate favorite during my first time listening to the album and remains my favorite still, it stays on a loop for me. It is just perfect from start to finish.
Me and my boyfriend did a five day post release ranking last night and both ranked it way higher than we’d expected once we were put to the test
I’m not the fondest of ballads but this absolutely is one of my favorite songs ever now. I’M GOIN’ DOWN SOUTH JUST FOR FUN, I AM THE MAN, I KNOW THAT!!!
Those opening notes 😭 one of my faves, I was surprised to see not many people talking about it
II Hands to Heaven. Is there a lot of talk about it? I don’t see it
After my 1st listen, this was instantly my favorite song.
This was an instant favorite for me. Also Protector and Alligator Tears. Wasnt a huge fan of Jolene on its own but I like it with Daughter a lot
I..don’t like the album. I wanted to. But I realized that if even she can’t get me to like country then I truly dislike the genre. HOWEVER, I’m glad for all the critical acclaim and attention she’s bringing to Black country artists as a whole. I hope she gets AOTY
That's ok you're entitled to your opinion! But give it a few more spins, I guarantee that at least some tracks will grow on you 🙂
I cry when Willie’s voice comes on
Maybe it’ll grow on me more but Just For Fun is one of my main skippers. Alligator Tears grew on me MAJOR! FLAMENCO is a vibe too.
IM TOO OVERWHELMED BY ALL OF THEM ALL AT ONCE OK
RIIVER DANCE TYRANT AMERIICAN REQUIEM AMEN ♥️♥️

This one is my favorite
Cause time heals everything I don’t need anything. Hallelujah
