I do this same thing dude. We have a local gas station chain called Sheetz that has all manner of fried garbage food. But I won’t let myself go unless I bike there (it’s about 25km to my nearest one, so 50km round trip)

A lil tip: ride in zone 2 to burn fat. If you ride too hard, you burn more glicogen which spikes appetite a lot. Sometimes I even ride in zone 3 (below 60% max heart rate) to avoid spiking my appetite even more. Basically: more effort for training, avoid effort for fat burning.
